Nail tech Amka did really great job! My nails are very short, therefore it's hard to paint it, but Amka was very skilled.

I got my nails done over a month ago and these nails are NOT BUDGING. I got extensions and one single color coming out to around $73 after tip. They were efficient and made sure i liked the shape before continuing. Whatever glue they use is insanely strong and extremely durable.

Wonderful service and outcomes. Acrylic gel refill and gel pedicure.

Love my nails! Gel acrylic refill on fingers and gel pedicure. I will definitely be back again. Great location that is central, too.

Absolutely amazing experience! This was my first time at Wisconsin Nails and the whole experience was 10/10. Amazing nail work, comfortable studio, fast and efficient and beautiful work. My artist was Anna and she was wonderful I will be back here again and again!!!!!!

I went in to Wisconsin Nails and waxing for the very first time! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they also have a very nice view of Georgetown! Today Crystal gave me a pedicure and May and Henry worked on my nails! I loved how they came out and I also loved how they paid attention to detail and were very attentive. The salon is spotless, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made the entire visit feel luxurious. I also appreciated the high-quality products they used and their commitment to cleanliness. It's clear they prioritize both style and hygiene. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this salon to all my friends!

I followed my longtime nail tech, Emma to this salon and my first experience was great! The layout is a bit different than I'm used to with the bar-style seating, but it wasn't bad. The staff was extremely inviting and friendly, which is always a plus! There are a lot of color options available to choose from in all types of product. The pedicure chair was comfortable and the massage was great! Of course, parking in the area is a challenge, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, a great nail salon!

Great customer service. I reached out to the company on yelp after my nails chipped quickly after having them done. They were responsive and gave me a discount on my next manicure. My nails are now looking great. Thank you to the manager!

For as long as I live in DC, I refuse to go to another nail salon. The 4.8/5 stars rating is beyond well-earned, from the pre-appointment conversations I had to the design process itself. I made a same-day appointment online less than an hour before my desired time, and within five minutes, I got a call from Donovan, who worked the front desk today. We chit-chatted about the types of treatments and designs I was interested in (a marbled jade green design), and Donovan was very transparent about what my total cost was and how we got there. When I got there, I was immediately greeted by Donovan and Liz, who was my nail tech today. She was lovely and kind, and she would check in frequently to see what I thought of my nails. We talked about what I had in mind for my nails and how to achieve the look, and when I had questions and suggestions (like how do we get from a clear white color base to the marbled whites and greens, or what if we added more green), she showed me how to reach the end result. And by the end, I felt like what I walked out with looked even better than the inspo! All in all, it was a WONDERFUL experience. I am telling all of my friends in DC to RUN, not walk, to Wisconsin Nail & Waxing. And to look for Liz!!

This was my first time trying out this salon. I called to make an appointment in advance. Once I walked in, they had me check in on the keypad and directed me to the bathroom to wash my hands upon entry. I liked that there was plexiglass up at each station and each employee was wearing masks. Each customer was spaced 6 ft away and someone wiped down the station every hour. They had great popular hit songs playing and a Korean movie on Netflix in the background with subtitles. Uyen was my nail technician, and she did such a great job in recreating a design I showed her from Instagram, and even added her own creative touch to it. She was very friendly. She took these pictures to add to the collection. It was at an affordable price in comparison to other nail salon in the Georgetown area. The only thing that I didn't like was that I had to wait 30 minutes before they started actually working on my nails, but I'm really glad that I went! I will be back!

This is my tried and true nail salon in the DMV. I've been coming here for four years and always get good service. Yolany is a great nail tech, she always makes sure you are comfortable and get the service and design you wanted. She's the best and the reason I continue to come back!

I typically don't leave reviews for nail salons until having tried them a few times but Wisconsin Nails & Waxing is a sister store to a shop in Clarendon and it being new to the area with quality service deserves a five star review early on in its business. I came here on a Friday night and they weren't quite busy. Given that they'd only been open for a couple months, it makes sense that they have to build their clientele. It seems that the ones that were in were also previous customers from the Clarendon salon who had heard about the new second location. As I'm one of them, I had a 20% off coupon for my first visit. Tony, the owner for both salons, remembered me and was very thankful for me coming in to the new shop. But my nail tech was Minh and he did pretty well. I had dipping powder removal, change of shape from square with rounded edges to almond shape, ombré dipping powder polish, and rhinestones. This would normally cost a lot but since I had the coupon, I decided to give all that a try. Since it was rather a lengthy appointment with all those services, I didn't mind the almond shape not being in tip top shape. But one thing I really liked is that I didn't have any chipping or removal before the three weeks mark, which is my pet peeve with SNS manicures. Because my mani pretty much stayed in tact (except for the rhinestones), I look forward to coming back again.

I researched and carefully selected this salon for my bridal nails because they purportedly do ombré. I wanted a light pink to white ombré specifically because I'm not a big fan of French manis. I read through several raving reviews that had pictures of the exact kind of ombré I was looking for. Their menu of services includes an ombré design. I was so excited. Ironically what I walked away with was a French manicure, and a fairly sloppy one at that due to the rush job. As it turns out, not every nail tech at the salon knows how to do a dipped ombré manicure. My nail tech first put multiple layers of pink dip color on my entire nail, and then tried to add the white dip powder on top to create the ombré effect. As we both apparently learned during my appointment (I actually had to sit there and Google it), the white disappears into the pink when you do it this way. To her credit, she was apologetic, but it was made crystal clear ombré was no longer an option because she didn't have time to redo the nails. The two choices I was presented was french tips or leave it as plain bubble bath. I was literally in tears as she rushed me to make a decision. Ultimately I said to just do the French because a single color didn't feel special enough for the occasion. She rushed through it, clearly very stressed that she was behind schedule for other customers, but in the meantime left me with sloppy lines. On the one hand she told me she wanted to make this right and give me "a big discount," and on the other hand she scolded me when I pointed out imperfections, including a red thread from their towel caked across my entire pinky nail. I was so upset and dejected that I just stopped pointing out the uneven lines pictured below. I walked out with a 10% discount - which, per their website, is the same amount they give at that time of day anyway for their "happy hour" pricing. It was a demoralizing experience. The only star I give is for the pedicure nail tech I saw beforehand - she was sweet and did a fantastic job. Had I just done the pedicure, this would be five stars.

This is the picture I showed him - spot on!!!

Recently relocated to Georgetown and giving up my old nail salon was a struggle but I'm happy to say I have found a fantastic one! I love being able to make an appointment on the app and their owner is super responsive. Minh, did my manicure, he was so quick and professional. He also stopped multiple times to make sure my length, shape, & color were what I wanted. I will definitely be going back!

This place got good reviews so I booked an appointment at the Eastern Market location since it's near the place I'm staying. The night prior, they called and asked if I'd be willing to go to the Dupont Circle location instead so that the technician could fit in more appointments. It was annoying, but not a huge deal. I was getting lash removal & a new set of classic/hybrid lashes. I've been getting eyelash extensions for 13 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They were thin, whispy, pre-made fans that were poorly glued onto only some of my lashes. They started falling off almost immediately, and there were visible white clumps of glue that a friend pointed out because she thought I had crumbs on my eyes. One week later when I went to another eyelash studio, they couldn't even tell I had any extensions on until they put me under the lights. I would've been better off just curling my own lashes & using mascara because mine are thicker & longer than whatever they used. I've never had such poor quality.

this place is very dependent on the threader(is that what they are called?) i like this location…read morebecause of its proximity and plenty of free parking nearby, some of the threaders(yeah im just gonna keep using that term) are good, but some are exquisitely bad. the one today was in the latter category. i have full, thick brows and they look good even when they are NOT threaded(hey i tried to be humble, but ...it...didnt..work..). on occasion, i will get them threaded for a more refined look. the threader today did not do that. one of my brows got hair removed excessively and looked uneven by comparison and there were no sharp lines. i did point this out to the threader(who willl remain nameless) who insisted everything was good. she also applied lotion to my brows without asking me first, which is made my face all itchy and i washed it off immediately. i usually get an astringent like witch hazel, which P.E. has too but the threader usually will ask me first what I want. gee, gosh damn , is that so hard? anyway, once a threader messes up, i do NOT want them to fix it, bc that usually makes it worse...way worse. so i will have to get creative with my pencil and mascara brush. and honestly, im very irritated. im putting my pic from today and one from another salon where i got my brows done before.picture is worth a thousand brows after all. btw, i PREFER the P.E. in tysons corner mall, i have NEVER had any issues there.

I use to get them done every 8 weeks, but now that my lashes are longer I noticed they can last up to 10-12 weeks. I also noticed my lashes got so much longer after I was doing these lifts for a year. Semra is amazing. She's always gentle with my lashes and takes amazing care to make sure they look good. I always leave satisfied with my lashes. My eyes are usually very sensitive as well. When I use to get regular lash lifts, my eyes would get irritated. But with the yumi lash lifts, my eyes aren't irritated. I think the chemicals are more gentle than regular lash lifts. Also I love the natural look of these lashes. They're so curly and long and just naturally pretty. I also got my brows done twice here. I usually don't get my brows done because I don't really care about my brows as much as I do my lashes lol, but Semra made my brows look really nice as well. I visited Semra's studio twice and she gave me a severe allergic reaction (Google PPD allergic reaction and HD Brows and BrowSculpt) that left me with severe hives on my face and extreme swelling of the eyes/ face for which I had to see three doctors and had to use six separate medications. It took me over a month to fully recover (I visited her salon Sept. 17, and am only now fully recovered as of late Oct.). After I told her about it, the only apology she gave me was "sorry to hear about it :(" I asked her for a refund and she refused, not even refunding me the tip or the cost of the service that caused the allergic reaction. On top of that, when I sent her the pictures, her reaction most generously could be understood as ignorance about a very common allergy that occurs due to the chemicals she uses in the line of work she's been in for ~30 years and at worst as accusing me of lying. She refused to take any accountability even when her actions seriously harmed a customer. I'll let you draw whatever conclusions you believe appropriate from my experience.
