I showed up expecting to have the treatment I had scheduled. Instead, I was told that the extractions would not be performed unless I agreed to bone grafting. My insurance did not cover the bone grafting, and the office requested $1,900 CASH for two bone grafts, with no tax, because the procedure was not covered by my insurance. I was not comfortable paying thousands of dollars out of pocket for an additional procedure that I did not believe was necessary. When I declined the bone grafting, my wisdom teeth were not extracted, despite the fact that this was the appointment I had specifically scheduled for the extractions and I am experiencing significant pain. I was also concerned that Dr. Bhogal would not proceed with treatment without personally examining my teeth, and I left feeling that I was being denied the extraction I had scheduled because I would not agree to pay the additional out-of-pocket cost for bone grafting. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating. I went through the initial cleaning, scheduled the follow-up specifically to have my painful wisdom teeth removed, and then arrived for that appointment only to be told the extractions would not happen unless I agreed to pay $1,900 cash for two bone grafts. Their sedation is an oral tablet, not IV, but after having it, I was very happy as it made these two large procedures a breeze. We finished up with a cleaning, and Rose was awesome as well.
