This guy is a unicorn! He actually answered the phone when I called, texted me later that day to say he would come tomorrow, showed up on time and did great work! I love my new chandelier and will be hiring WiseCo for more projects.

We used WiseCo Electric to replace our kitchen lights with new recessed LED lights. Byron was responsive through yelp and consultation/quote was done through Yelp. Byron was very professional and did a thorough job in replacing the lights. Overall, we are very satisfied with the job.

My new panel:-)

Byron is a Badass! He did an amazing job on my new panel installation. I acquired 4 bids before him. His bid was so reasonable that I wondered if he made made a typo. Nope. He has excellent communication skills. He is worth every cent of my hard earned money. More importantly, he honored his bid. No surprising extra fees. He is a solid human being. I DEFINITELY recommend him.

Great communication got here on time great work I highly recommend. He was able to pull a permit when I couldn't and did the job as he promised quoted me at excellent rates

New, and improved!

We had an old, sketchy electrical panel on the house we just bought. Byron was super friendly, informative throughout the process, and FAST. The entire process, from evaluation, permitting, to install, to final inspection, took about 10 days! (When I had this done in a house i was renting, it took a month!)

No response after trying twice to set up an appointment...message from 5 days ago.

Initially was able to contact WiseCo when I requested a quote through Yelp, however never got a response after wanting to set up an appointment, so I tried again, but still no response after 5 days. Image attached. If the job can't be completed, too busy or is not something they do, at lease give a courtesy response. After checking other reviews, it seems many have experienced something similar. Unresponsive, and unprofessional.

Byron removed a kitchen ceiling fan and replaced it with this contemporary fixture. He provided sound advice, was fast and affordable.

Thanks Volt! I highly recommend this roofing and solar company. Buck and his team are great: very…read moreknowledgable, hard-working, and have amazing attention to detail. On top of that, they're just good down-to-earth people. We hired them last spring to re-roof our home, replace some rotted eaves and fascia and replace our old solar system (it was inefficient and malfunctioned quite a bit). We are very happy with what we got for the price we paid, it was a good value. It looks so much better than it did before and is consistently producing more energy. I feel like they helped us make the right decisions through the whole process, especially for system size to be able to keep our NEM1 status. The new roof looks great and works really well. I waited almost a year to write this review to make sure there wasn't any water intrusion during the winter storms - not a drop anywhere. They were in the mid-high range in pricing on the bids we got, but I'm happy we spent a little more went with them. Can a roof be sexy? Ours sure is. All in all, if you need a new roof or solar system or home battery, or all of the above, call Volt. They are a competent and professional group of local people who are really f**king good at what they do.

He came in $20,000 lower than one bid and at least half that on another bid. He finished the job a week early and under budget. My husband and I dug in our heels FOREVER, when it came to getting solar. There were all kinds of…read moresalespeople who came to our home on a monthly basis, and we just never had a real peace about being able to trust what we were being " sold", or told. My parents purchased solar from a HORRIBLE company that sounds a lot like 'SunFun'. After they passed away, and the house was sold...we were STILL making the monthly payments for over a year!!! That SunFun organization REFUSED to transfer the solar to the new homeowner, and eventually stopped taking or acknowledging our calls. It wasn't until we had to threaten the new homeowner with a lawsuit that SunFun finally transferred ownership. Due to this, we could not trust any of these solar companies...that is, until Kevin Bedard came to our home, and explained everything in great detail to my husband and I. He took the time to hear about our concerns, and he showed us how he truly cared. That same week, we spoke to two other families who shared their positive experiences about Ambrose Solar that made us feel that we would be in great hands. We had FINALLY FOUND A PEACE about getting solar on our home; KNOWING we would be in good hands, and we were ALL IN. It's been six months now, and we are beyond pleased with our solar panels, and the two Tesla batteries we have purchased. We are true fans, who have NOTHING but RAVE REVIEWS for this company. If you don't have solar, or if you need to add solar, Kevin Bedard is your man! and Ambrose is your company. Every employee has been amazing and helpful. In a world where customer service has taken a dump, this company has remained a class act. So again...if you are considering solar, call Ambrose, and tell them Albert and Rhonda sent you.

My project is now finished and it's been about 6 months turned on and functioning- I'm still so…read moreglad that I did this with Ambrose Solar. Any home renovation project has bumps, and this one had its fair share: after initial install they monitor the systems production remotely to see if it's doing what it's supposed to/expected to, and my system was initially under-performing. They caught it and sent out a team to problem solve it, which took a couple tries, but they didn't drag their feet, they kept on it and kept at it and got it resolved. It was no fault of theirs, just a technology glitch. Core fear was that they would give up after a couple failures and leave me following up with them to get it done, but I never had to worry about that. I also did not end up liking where they placed the control box- it was something that was going to make future maintenance of my house trim problematic down the line. They willingly moved it up a few inches for me (and my only complaint was the team that did that didn't patch the original hole as efficiently as they should have. If I had understood the box placement better on the first pass that would never have happened, so this is a bit of a complaint of my own making.) Jon Landsman, who sold me the system, stayed with us the whole time tracking the project, checking in, and following through on every detail, every question, every concern. He never made me feel like the demanding diva that I am, was always prompt and gracious! The bottom line is that start to finish, even with a few bumps in the road, I have zero question that this is a company that legitimately cares about doing what is right. The culture of deeply valuing customer service that they have built is unmatched by many businesses these days. I am SO pleased, and SO impressed, and I can promise that you will be too!

I cannot imagine there are many homeowners who are experts when it comes to HVAC systems. I know…read morefor a fact that I am not, it was with great trepidation that I started our search for a new system since our 40 year old system was on it's last legs, and another Sacramento summer was at hand. So I reached out to three local companies, all of whom came highly recommended, for proposals to replace the entire system, duct work included. I then put all three into ChatGPT and here is the one comment about Phoenix Energy Solutions' proposal that was the most salient. "Those are signs that the contractor is paying attention to installation quality rather than simply replacing equipment." The price was also very competitive and when the entire scope of the proposals where compared, it was the best from a cost perspective. Of course a proposal on paper, is just that, words on paper. Now it's time to see if the work stands up to the words. Yes, yes they did. Five stars here. Communication was clear, scheduling the job was prompt. The job took two days and our new Amana 3-ton 17+ SEER Variable Heat Pump system was installed and working beautifully. Now, keep in mind this is a very intrusive process, but Micah and his crew were conscientious and careful in our home. I can say without hesitation, Micah and Phoenix Energy Solutions checks all the boxes. Knowledgable - Check Thorough - Check Competitive - Check Communication - Check Honest - Check Quality - Check

I first used Phoenix Energy Solutions back in 2013 when they came and turned a 'must replace your…read morewhole unit (that was then about 9yo)' into a well-explained $600 job. Quote from my original review: ******** "At some point, we will need a bigger unit to accomodate our actual square footage, but for now, the house is cool, comfortable (it runs warmer on the kid's side, but well below the danger point of when we didn't have AC-I used fans and kept the kids in the master suite with me). And when we DO replace our unit-I don't need Yelp-I'll just call Phoenix Energy Systems and you should too! PS-this is the service that made me join Yelp, so I can give Rich and PES 5 stars (and not 10 as others have noted)." *********** Since then, I've been on PES REST plan (their annual maintenance contract for 1 AC and 1 heater/furnace tuneup per year). I don't review routine service calls, but go ahead and imagine about 3 dozen 5 star reviews for keeping my systems running and functional as they met and then exceeded normal life for these units. Well, all good things must come to an end. The AC sealant gave out, flooding my attic and into my master bathroom. After much consideration, I came to realize that it was time to replace the AC, and possibly the equally old and increasingly troublesome heater. So Micah came over and presented several options and discussed which ones were SMUD rebate eligible. I went with the bundled (and SMUD rebate eligible) AC + Heat Pump combo. Micah and his son (already an industry veteran and very capable) arrived bright and early (e.g. right on time) and 10 hours later - old units removed, new units installed. The big surprise was *nothing* - e.g. none of the clunks grinds, whooshes, strained sounds of the old system. Just nice cool air evenly distributed throughout my 3/2 bungalow. The old system kept the master suite at temperature, but ran hot summers and cold winters in the kid's rooms at the other end of the house. Remember folks, true power doesn't roar - it whispers. And of course, thank you Phoenix Energy Solutions for fair pricing and top notch professional HVAC services.
