I experienced a total power outage two days ago. When I contact my utility company. One of their technicians called me to have me gone through a series of tasks and determined that the problem was my breaker panel that was my responsibility. He did this determination without personally inspecting the cause of the outage or any of my equipment. He told me to contact an electrician to have the repair done. I contacted Sal after one other electrician gave me an estimate of over $8500 to replace my breaker panel which I believe was excessive even if I have actual issues with my panel. Sal was on time and efficient and quickly determined after performed a series of test that my panel was perfectly fine and the problem was my Smartmeter. While there were current flowing to the meter, nothing was going from there to my breaker. He help me contact my utility company and a new technician was dispatched and agreed with Sal that it was their meter that was defective. A new one was installed and problems solved. Sal saved our day! Called him on a Sunday morning when electricity was flickering and intermittent to microwave, refrigerator and stove and finally power was off to all appliances. He answered my first call, and said he could be to my house in a couple hours as he was returning from Reno to Sacramento. All other companies I called were closed on Sunday. Sal was professional and skilled. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had everything back to normal. If I could give this guy zero stars I would. I did a house renovation, all my other contractors were timely and stood behind their work. Sal took over 5 months to run basic can lights and and outlets, and to upgrade my panel. He estimated it would take 2-3 weeks. Hard to get a hold of the guy on the phone, and when I did... most times he would either not show up and caused my other contractors to reschedule there work as they were waiting on the electrical to get done. On top of that he added work to the order that he did not do and tried to charge me for it. We were forced to move into the home before it was ready because he was not showing up to work. I had a young son at the time, and Sal left many open electrical lines, so I had to put electrical tape on them myself. He even managed to break the a/c line in the attic, during summer!! And took forever to "fix it"... which he didn't, so I had to pay another electrician. His work was shotty, left a bunch of marks in my ceiling while trying to install the can lights, this guy is a joke. I have too many complaints to put in this one review and not worth my time, but save yourself the time and do not use this guy. read more
