Stopped here on the way to The Outer Banks, and so glad I did. Such a hidden gem, the pizza and bacon cheese fries were amazing. But 100% would not leave here without getting the Wiseguy Steak Hogie, 10/10...would kill to have a place like this close to me. read more

OMG! Oh moved to the coast like 8 or 9 years ago, and this is the BEST pizza I've had!!! Back home pizza was a "mom & pop" business... not franchise garbage. Not a fan of Wiseguys Pies. I have tried several items and haven't been thrilled with none of them. I asked for light on the garlic and the pizza was covered in garlic. Ordered a steak and cheese and it was like a thin frozen steak umm that you get from the grocery store. The fries were cold and greasy. I would not recommend! read more

Eric and his whole family are awesome! They go the extra mile and are willing to make any kind of pie to make their customers happy--including a special pie just for my vegan daughter with no cheese--only the yummy veggies and their house made hot sauce! For the meat and cheese eaters, their pizzas are AMAZING! We especially love the Greek and cheesesteak pie--and the pineapple pizza their sammies are just as delish! Did I mention their hand cut fries?? My fave are the wiseguys fries!! Sooooo good!! The hubs loves their wings and cheese fries! My youngest daughter loves the breadsticks--no cheese! (I know--where did I go wrong? Cheese is life‍) On top of delish food and great friendly service, the owner and his family give back to the community, supporting the schools and public safety! Wide variety of selections on the menu. I ordered just the usual pepperoni and the sauce was so sweet it tasted like an actual baked good. The dough was super tough and overall the pizza was way too greasy; In between each bite, I had to dab the pizza with a paper towel to remove some grease. When I went in the get my order I had to use the restroom, they are super unsanitary and smell terrible. I would give one star, but the large menu is a plus. read more

Got the 24" Godfather. One of the worst pizzas I have ever bought. Tasted disgusting. Terrible sauce, doughy and floppy. Establishment/building left much to be desired while I sat around to wait. Time to pull out some swiffer dusters, cleaning products and get to work on cleaning this place up! read more

Like, are you kidding me? This place is LEGIT! The best pizza ever! The pizzas are huge, crust is fluffy, and ingredients are off the charts. My friend got me interested in this place when she mentioned they had a Taco pizza. WHAT!? I yelled, rather loudly. So we had to visit. We waited till we had a powerlifting meet out here and made the two second trip from the meet to here. Two seconds too long for this magical experience! Our table of beasts got a Taco pizza, a Buffalo chicken pizza (HOT wing sauce-because you get to choose your own and we just lifted a ton of weight so a little spice wasn't going to get us down!), and a bacon cheeseburger pizza. We also got an order of garlic knots. The knots came out and it looked more like bread. and then the chef brought us out more garlic bread. So I think he said he didn't have the right stuff to make the knots so thats why it looked like garlic bread, and the second thing just had like real minced garlic on it an I think was made differently because they looked, and tasted different. but to me, I love bread in any way/shape/form so I was happy. I would have to say the bread with the minced garlic was better? But again, I still ate all other one too. I just thought it was very nice for the chef to bring us out an extra plate of apps while we waited for our 3 18 in pizzas! haha Pizza came and I was floored. THEY WERE HUGE!!!! Im talking diameter AND thickness! No whimpy ass thin crust here. And the toppings...its like the god of toppings threw up on our pizza! And I'm okay with that very weird analogy. Basically when you picked up a piece the cheese was just oozing off of it. Lord help my arteries, it was baglorious All three pizzas were outstanding! Id have to say though that if I HAD to pick a favorite, it was the Chicken hot wing one-then Taco pizza-then the Bacon Cheeseburger (and that ones last only because I bring shame to myself as an american due to the fact I don't really like bacon cheeseburgers...but if your a real american, or man, then you would probably die happy after diving into that beast). Oh! And as for the spiciness of the HOT wing sauce (you choose your own sauce on that pizza BTW). Well, I love hot/spicy. My level is-its only considered "hot" if I start crying, snot dripping, and tummys turning. So to me, it wasn't Hot (but, I'm a freak). There were two people at my table who would whole heartedly disagree with me because their noses were running. So, it might not have been hot to me, but the flavor was TOTALLY still there. I thought it was perfect actually because I didn't want to die eating that pizza when I had two others to try. Oh! man, and the crust on that chicken wing pizza... I wish I could swear on this thing to show how passionate I am about how delicious it was! It was like garlic bread crust..but also it was like eating a cloud. Never in my life had I had crust SO SOFT AND FLUFFY! Holy mother of god. I couldn't get over that! Softest crust I've ever eaten in my life! And you if you hate soft and fluffy crust then we can't be friends. The crusts were all good though! That one just stood out, but really they were all fantastic. 10/10 will come back here! So sad its wayyyy out in the middle of nowhere. They need to come to VB! They would make a killing! But I'm happy Ill be able to come back because this is a new post meet tradition! read more

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! The place is a literal hole in the wall, but seemed clean and the food made up for everything! We had a large party and they accommodated us easily. We ordered takeout here for the first time. The guy that answered the phone was friendly and helpful. It was a little hard to find (just moved here), a quaint little shop for the locals. I ordered a cheese pizza with onions and pepperoni. Crust was delicious with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, the sauce was a little sweet but otherwise it was excellent. My husband got the meatball "grinder in Massachusetts " here I guess it is a sub.meatballs were very good, he really enjoyed it. Prices were good too. Will definitely go back. read more

Pizza is ok. Nothing great or bad, just ok. The place us a little run down inside but it may be because it's an older building. Service is basically counter only but the folks were friendly. The wings were just so so as well. Sandwiches looked tasty and the folks with me enjoyed theirs. There is a TV area but it's a little weird in that it's an old sofa and a table. Maybe it's for the staff but it's in the middle of the place. read more

Living in the area, we sometimes get take-out pizza here because it's within a few minutes of our home. Pizza is pretty good, sauce is tasty and there's plenty of cheese. Call-in orders are ready when promised. Our main complaint is that the sauce is skimpy and never covers to the edge of the crust, which is way too thick on the edges. A large pizza might have an inch and a half of thick crust around the edge without any sauce or topping on it. There's usually a small container of extra dipping sauce, but not enough. Several times, the thickest part of the crust was not cooked through. If we had been dining in, we would have sent it back. Have not tried other menu items. read more

Ordered from my phone, menu wasn't clear, tried the 24" pizza with pepperoni and sausage on half. For $40 I expected so much more! It's a PIZZA! Cost maybe $10 to make tops. I saw $23.99 base plus $3 toppings, couldn't read them but didn't think pepperoni or sausage were premium toppings that were $6 each. So even though sausage on half, full price was charged plus an up charge and tax. Wasn't the best pizza I ever ate, crust ranged from paper thin in middle to thicker toward crust, sauce was very sweet as was dough but only reached to within 1.5-2" to edge as well as cheese. Garden Deli and Pizzeria in Manteo much tastier and can get two 16" pies for that price. read more

Pizza was just okay. But we were so disappointed to find our mushroom and ham pizza had canned mushrooms on top. Who does that!?! Also, we ordered thin crust and it was not crispy at all. Doubtful we will try them again. read more
