Proper NY Pizza! By far the BEST pizza in the OBX. We got the slices of cheese, margarita, deep dish, and a couple specialties. Prices are about normal for what the pizza economy is. Good pizza at a reasonable beach price. Major issue we had is that they do not answer their phone and make you either order on-line or in person. It is impossible to make changes or special requests from the on-line menu. For example we ordered a pasta dish, along with a salad and several pizzas, and we wanted the sauce on the side. That can not be requested when ordering over the internet. Even when ordering inside the restaurant they are very rigid with the menu. A person in our party wanted grilled chicken on their pasta and they would not do it. However another member of our party ordered a salad and they were able to get grilled chicken on the salad. We then asked to get the grilled chicken on the side and gave it to the person who wanted it on their pasta. There really was no reason to go through all of that. read more

I asked some locals where to get the best pizza in Nags Head/Kitty Hawk and this place was on everybody's list, so I gave it a go. Ordered the Margherita and was exceedingly pleased. The chewy crust, fresh ruby-red plum tomatoes, and fresh basil were excellent, but to me the stars of this pie-show were the fresh garlic, which was very liberally applied and immensely satisfying, and the fresh mozzarella. You know how real, fresh moz feels pillowy when you bite it? And how it has that mild but distinctive and unmistakable, beautiful flavor? BAM. This moz was as good as any I've had in NYC or anywhere else. Delicious food! I love their homemade, thick, and super garlicky Garlic Knots. I highly recommend to try the pizza and cheesesteak! If you like huge slices of pizza and foods with lots of ooey gooey cheese, this is the place to try. Parking was easy, they only have an outdoor eating area. Some employees were friendly. Worth it, not only based on value but your taste buds will thank you. We ordered the Chicago style pizza with pepperoni and sausage as the toppings--delicious! Our pizza order was put in wrong so what came out was a regular pizza. We were hesitant but we decided to let them know, and the person we spoke to (who we assumed is the owner) was extremely kind and corrected the order immediately (the Chicago style). He went above and beyond even though we were already super satisfied by the service, and gave us complimentary Knots and a $10 giftcard. I could tell they value their customers, which is so nice. Good and clean pizzeria in kill devil hills. If you are looking for good pizza that can fill up your family for not too expensive, this is a great place. Fairly thin crust (I'm not a big fan of thick crust) but they also have options for Chicago style deep dish pizza. Although they are only allowing take out or delivery during COVID, they still have seating outside that is nice. Most of their pizzas are 16", some you can order smaller, or you can get it by the slices. The pizza was good and the topping seemed more fresh than usual. It did seem a little overpriced- $25 for a 16" pizza, but I guess that was because they were their "supreme pizzas." One recommendation, don't get the garlic knots. They looked way better than they were. They turned out to be a little dry. read more

I had high hopes for this place based on the other reviews and I wanted try a local, rather than chain, pizza place. We ordered a large meat pizza and small Margherita pizza for delivery. It took over an hour, but was expected since we ordered during a peak time. We liked the thin crust on both pizzas and the meat toppings were good. The Margherita had chunks of tomatoes rather than slices which I was not a fan of. Rather than tasting the mozzarella, I got mouthfuls of tomato instead.
