Let me start out to say that this place is super busy so a lot of people find their food delicious. The place has a good amount of tables, however, the food is takeout only due to "covid." I highly recommend using their online ordering because they simply won't pick up the phone if they're too busy. They messed up my order and when I said something they smiled and shrugged it off. They would not fix it. I wanted to get out of there so I just said fine. That being said, the food is extremely overpriced and loaded with MSG. This a small little joint in a quiet area, right by a diner. Food was delicious & top 2 best Thai iced teas I have ever had. The gentleman that served us is the nicest person I have ever come across in a restaurant. So accommodating & a happy, smiling face the entire time. The food is served in to go boxes right now which we didn't mind as the portions are great! My husband loves curry & every time we go somewhere, the portion is always a tiny little bowl but this place has a huge portion! A lot of the savory dishes are definitely sweeter than what we have had anywhere else so that may confuse some people lol. I prefer less sweetness but it was still tasty. The best Thai food I've ever had in New York outside of NYC. Make sure you get the food extra spicy if you can handle it (it's not intolerable like at some Thai restaurants). Visiting from California, I went to eat here b4 leaving on the plane back home. I wasn't too hungry and didn't get an entrée but was craving a popular dessert dish Thai restaurants usually serve. Mango and sticky rice. And an appetizer of steamed dumplings. The dessert was subpar. The rice looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for a while, very chewy and old. The mango was sour, and the dip is usually a thick coconut syrup. They straight up gave me a small cup with just coconut milk, not sweented. The steamed dumplings were flavorless and had water inside and were somewhat cold. Maybe if i got the dumplings fired, they would have tasted better. My brother got an entrée of shrimp pad sew we. That was delicious, very flavorful, and my sis in law got a spicy red curry chicken dish that was also delicious. If they can revamp their dessert, that would be great. There was a good amount of food for what we paid and the flavor was well developed. I didn't get a chance to dine in, but the staffs were very nice. The food even better, food is definitely authentic and taste like it would the homeland. They definitely make food how my family would, just a tad bit on the sweeter side. Hard to find authentic food like that though. And for taking food out, they actually fill the containers with the food, well worth it in every way as far as the price, quality, and quantity. That's the real hospitality that SEA gives. I got the duck curry, pad see ew, chicken dumpling, and custard dessert. Man they did right by that duck, tender and it soaks up the flavors right. Wish it was a little less sweet, though other than that it was so good. The pad see ew, oh they did perfect. Just like how my family would make and generous portions, overall and lots of protein. They don't skimp!! Dumplings were good, sauce was like sweet soy, so if you don't like super tangy it's great. The custard, I've never had before but the flavors were just right. I would definitely recommend trying it! The flavor of the custard is very similar to those of other desserts we eat just in custard form and served with khao niew (sticky rice). I would recommend trying anything here since they did so well and it's actually what our kind of food is, not shortcuts to accommodate for business. Even the pinky milk I got for my daughter reminded me of when I was younger, except we used to get them served in a bag! Haha, it's great. What a surprising find during a trip to upstate New York! We got takeout from here (pad Thai [my litmus], pad see ew, and Thai fried rice), and they didn't rush the order which was apparent in the quality of the food. On first visit from out of town this is our review: Pros: Amazing food. Very nice and clean restaurant with family friendly atmosphere. We have gluten free and low sodium dietary requirements and they were very accommodating to our needs by prepping the foods to our requirements. Thai ice tea was very good. We had the fresh rolls, chicken satay, shrimp red curry, pineapple curry, garlic pork and thai fried rice. Also the Bua Loi and sticky rice with Thai Custard. All very fresh and tasty. Cons: For the location where there are no other Thai food options. Wish represents the better option even if there was another option. Ordered Pad Thai chicken and lemongrass stir fry and Tom Yum soap. All was delicious hot and fresh called our food order in in the parking lot and it was still ready within 25 minutes! My wife and I ate here for a dinner date. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere (nothing wowing but simple). The service was fine being that there was only one server (she was relatively attentive). Traveling west out of the Adirondack Mountains and needed an interesting stop for dinner some distance out of the park as I headed west. Decided to stop at the Wish Thai Kitchen for a curry after seeing the positive reviews. The full parking lot was a positive indicator as well. The food was excellent, the service was courteous and fast, the portions were substantial, and the price was fair. My son had the red curry with chicken, which was very good (made the nose run, but not too much!) and I had a sweeter mostly mild dish called Prik Pow (I think) with chicken that had a delightful background spicy heat with a pineapple-sweetened, if a little sweeter than I would normally choose, sauce. Even so, it was totally satisfying and one of the servers favorites. Among the *many* Thai restaurants I have visited, this ranks solidly among the better ones. Food is good but service is horrible. Our appetizers never came (we ordered 3). When the waitress brought our dinners she brought them one at a time, for a table of 6. The first person's food was luke warm by the time the last one got his food. I asked her about the appetizers and she said nothing. The waitress was clueless. Never apologized and never brought the appetizers. She also had to be reminded twice to bring the Thai ice teas. And three times I asked for water refills. The last time she completely ignored us. She gave us the bill with the 3 appetizers still on it (instead of bringing us water. Clearly we were not done yet). Had to be the worst waitress I had in a long time. I can't believe my husband left her a tip. I will most likely never go here again. I also went here twice in the winter and the place was so freezing. Uncomfortably cold!
