I was very disappointed in the birthday arrangement I received from my sister. On the fourth day the water became cloudy and some stems were slimy. I pulled out stems that would no longer bloom and some that would crumble at the touch. My sister paid a lot for this arrangement and it seemed to begin its process of falling apart and dying rather soon. I received store bought flowers and they are holding up better. I changed the water in hopes to get a little bit more life in them. I hope she doesn't ever buy such expensive flowers again, from anywhere. read more

This is my first time ordering from this florist and the service was absolutely wonderful. I called around to a few different places in yuba city looking for same day delivery but since it was super last minute I didn't have very much luck to get a delivery to Gridley. The person on the phone was so helpful and patient. I gave her a price point for an arrangement to be delivered that day and she even sent me a photo of the finished arrangement within 20 minutes! We came in saddened and left feeling confident that our wishes were heard and the shop would deliver. We asked for cheerful and lush arrangements, showed a few Pinterest ideas and the staff completely came through for us. I was impressed with the interaction I had on the phone when placing my order. They were very helpful. HOWEVER, I was quite specific on what I wanted in the bouquet. I was not pleased to see no blue in the arrangement. I specifically asked for blue or purple and I got white. All white. And a crap load of fern greens. It was OK, but not what I asked for with the exception of roses. I am disappointed with the lack of regard for my specific request. I will not order from them again. Becky was so kind and amazing and saved the day! I had a very last minute cancellation from another florist, due to this virus, and no other options in site. But it was Great Gma's Bday and I needed to get something to her, since we could not be there in person. And I wanted to send Gma an Easter bouquet. I could tell this shop was VERY busy, with bustling noise in the background, when I called. But even though it was a little far and probably outside of her typical delivery zone, she was empathetic to my situation and took my last minute order, to be delivered that day. She did charge me a delivery fee for the distance which I was happy to pay. She was doing me a huge favor by taking this on. I cannot even begin to describe how incredibly grateful I am for her kindness and consideration. I found the most adorable shop today!! It's called "The wishing Corner". The selection of items are very impressive. And the prices are more than reasonable! I am so proud of my purchases. I couldn't wait to get home and put them up. The owner Becky was there the day I was shopping. She mentioned she's going on a buying trip for the store soon. You can bet I will be waiting on the curb as she returns! The Shop is located in Gridley. And is well worth the short drive girls! And boys looking for a beautiful floral arrangement. I really do not know where to begin. The wishing corner has been in Gridley for a long long time. It used to be a place to get affordable party supplies and gifts. Since the new owners have taken over, it has gone downhill. Everything in the store is way over priced, especially for the small town it is in. I do not know many people that would pay $50 for an old 8x10 picture frame, spray painted and turned into a chalk board. The kids clothing items are outrageous!! $19 for a onesie from target with a ruffle sewn on the butt is just insane. They obviously do not know the first thing about running a business. I have ordered flower arrangements in the past and would have been better off buying a bouquet from Safeway for less than half the price and they would last longer than a day. The flowers I received from the wishing corner were already falling apart, the next day they completely fell apart. The turn over with the staff in the last year or so is really high. With the high turn over rate, customer service has suffered tremendously. High turn over is directly related to mismanagement. I have heard rumors around town that the owner has a video and audio cameras installed inside. Not only does it record everything the employees say and do, everything customers say is recorded too and without their knowledge. I guess if you have money to burn, do not care about quality products, and would like to have your private conversations recorded while shopping, then this is the place for you! I do not see them being in business very long. Especially if someone complains to the right government agencies about the invasion of privacy this business is imposing on all its customers. read more
