Poor customer service! Would not recommend!!! If you are looking to go to Wissler's for any type of body repair I implore you to read this review. The reason I had to call Wissler was due to me dinging a vehicle and a small piece of plastic had to be replaced on it. I called Wissler... No answer. So I left a message. I waited 2 whole DAYS for him (Ted) to call me back. Now mind you, I was on a time constraint due to a foreseen trip that's already planned and paid for as I will be leaving for quite a stint of time. I mentioned to him that this was not my vehicle and that I knew what the piece was and I needed him to order it and put it on. Ted explained to me that he needed to see the vehicle to ensure that he got the right piece. I reassured that it WAS IN FACT the correct piece, however he insisted that he needed to see it. So, him meeting me halfway was through email (which I'm fine with). I sent Ted a photo of the owners vehicle, VIN number and an exact photo of the piece needed. it was then a waiting game. I was hoping that he would at least give me a courtesy email/call and explain that he had seen the message. A day-and-a-half later I call and hit 5 for body work office... no answer. I then recall and punch in his extension... well would you look at that! He answered! We speak and he sends me an email of the quote on repairing the piece of plastic that I had asked for. And, would you want to know how expensive it was just for a piece of plastic??? Over $1,000?!!! I review the quote and see that he added cost of repainting and labor that added up to over 6hrs. Um... not what I asked for. I called him back immediately and explained AGAIN that I only needed the tiny plastic piece replacesd and that was it! (no apology, mind you). And before I even could say "okay, thank you, bye". He hung up on me!!! Now my patience is running thin and he sends me another quote that totals to about $300. I email him back saying that the second quote is definitely better than the first. And again... radio silence. For 2 days I waited for a call/email. I called back 2 days later and... no response. I recalled... no response to I left a message explaining how I am in a bit of a hurry and that I need to know if he can get this done for me OR AT LEAST PLANNED!!! He calls me back a couple hours later and tells me that the quote was just a "around the price" of what it would cost. He also mentions to me that he hadn't scrolled down to the bottom of my email to see what part I was meaning. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!? I had mentioned at the very BEGINNING of the email of what the email pertained so that he wouldn't MISS that very important part... anyone see a reoccurring theme?? At this point I am fuming but, do my best to keep my cool. As I speak to him he pulls up an exact amount of what that piece costs. And how much would literally make anyones jaw drop lol. Over $600! To which I say "let me call the owner of the vehicle and I'll get back to you." Well needless to say I didn't call the owner but another garage! I explained what part I needed, gave them the last 8 digits of her VIN and the marvelous man at Hondru found the part within MINUTES!!! And guess what?? It was marketed at $300 Less than what Ted offered me AND I could pick it up the next day. Mmmm... something fishy happening with Wissler but, whatever. So, due to Hondru low on staff and unable to replace that piece I then callback my good old buddy, Ted at Wissler. Now Ted, seemed MAYBE like a reasonable man... I was wrong... I explained to him that I got the piece and to which he said "why cant they put it on?" Like... do you want my business??? And I replied to him "the owner of the vehicle is very particular about her car. So I would like to bring the piece to you and you can replace it." To which, good ole Ted said "Well... I'm going to have to decline because I don't "like" to put someone else's parts on a vehicle." And you know what I said?? "Ok! That's fine, thanks then" In a very nice tone because honestly I was over the phone call and email tag. And before I could SAY GOODBYE, TED THEN HUNG UP. I mean... the customer service says it all. Within 24 hours of buying my new but used car from them, I was told it had brand new tires, but the very next day while traveling, the back left tire blew out on a major interstate. I had my whole family in the car and luckily, NJ DOT helped put on our spare tire so we could get to an auto place to buy a new tire. We found out that the "new" tires that was purchased were about the cheapest ones you could buy. We did call Wissler to let them know that I did get a flat tire after practically driving the car off the lot ". I did not get a callback until I called them again a week later after we came back from vacation. They never called us or left a voicemail. When we bought the car, free inspections as well as free car washes were to be included with our purchase. It also states in their brochure that we get a free loaner car while our car is in their shop for inspection or being worked on. This is a complete lie as there is fine print that they do not tell you about concerning the loaner. It's not free because what you do have to pay is essentially $8/ gallon in gas. No one pays as much for gas, but apparently this is how much it costs if you are to get a "free loaner" from them. When we called them out for that, they became belligerent and now have refused to give us any of our free car washes or any of the inspections we essentially paid for when we bought the car. They said they are choosing not to do business with us anymore. Of course, because they had their money as I paid cash for the purchase. I actually had to go to another place for my car inspection even though I paid for the diagnostics to be done on my car at Wissler. This was over $200. I asked for the refund for the diagnostics, but they refused. This place is a fraud and a sham especially their auto body service. DO NOT go there. They do not care about you and are only interested in making money. read more

Worst dealership we have ever had to deal with! All 'nice' when you start the car process....but then you start to see the 'real' side when you start backing off buying from them....especially when you have put $500 down to hold the deal until you know your loan is approved...which they never even called us to tell us if it had been!....We called them...found out it had been approved ...so made an appt. to proceed. They pull out the big 'warranty' deal ...and after stumbling through it for well over a hour and a half ....they can't explain it right ...salesman even called in Finance man to 'help'....they admit it is not laid out the best! We finally left ....told them we wanted a couple of days to think it over....we decided to not buy until after the holidays...but when we asked for our money back ...they refused to give it. We even talked to the owner ...he said they had 'spent it'....on writing up OUR deal that we had not even settled at the time! How can you write up a deal when you don't know what the customer is actually going to do ...like buy that lousy warranty they 'tried' to explain??? Never again...and my advice to anyone looking ...go anywhere else! We asked for our money back and told them we would go away quietly ....not say a negative thing to anyone but they wanted our $500 more than our being quiet. read more

Upon further inspection of the work done by Wissler by another reputable body shop in Lancaster, it was determined that in addition to the bumper being installed over the tail pipe, there was also damage to the rear bumper support beam that was not fixed. The current shop where my car is being repaired could not believe the sub par work that was done by Wissler. read more

Purchased a Kia Optima here and had the best car buying experience ever thanks to Tyler! Not only did he show me cars that fit the description of what I wanted, he stayed within my budget as well and did not pressure me to go above it. He gave me all of the information I needed about each car and helped me pick out the Optima. I felt I was fully informed about the pros and cons of the car (cons are often not shared but much appreciated). He was very kind throughout the whole process and I didn't feel pressured to buy. He was super friendly and made me and my mom feel like we were already good friends with him. He remembered small details about me and my previous car that made it felt like he truly cared about his customer. If you are considering buying a car here, seek out Tyler to help you! Wissler Motors - Car - Auto Repair Near Me - Mount Joy, Pennsylvania

Purchased a 2020 Lincoln Corsair on 9/30/21. Paid cash which included the fee for electronic processing of the registration/title. I am still waiting for the paperwork to be processed. Wissler staff have told me it had a "glitch" and would not process electronically. They said there was an "unclaimed title issue" causing the problem. They claimed to have hand delivered it to Harrisburg DMV for processing. The DMV as of today states that the title is still in the name of Wissler Motors. I was told by Wissler that because the electronic processing didn't work, they would be refunding me the approx $80 fee. I have not received it and when I called and inquired about it, they said the have to wait until the paper work has processed all the way through. In 14 business days my temporary registration will expire. I have no faith that I will receive my new registration and title by then. I will have a $47K car I paid cash for that I won't even be able to legally drive or sell if I wanted to. Wissler Motors has given the excess that the DMV is backed up due to COVID and delays are the norm. When I made several calls to the DMV in search of my paperwork, I inquired about their workload and timing, I was told timeframes for processing were running normal times. This was also my experience when I purchased another vehicle in mid October from a different dealer who processed the registration/title electronically and I received all my documents via mail 8 days later. Hoping the owner reads this and is willing to help me get this resolved so I can provide a better followup review. read more

I brought my Dodge van in for Wisslers to check the air conditioning (rear air unit) which was not working. The mechanic told me that it would be nearly $1,000 to fix, which they could do for me. He also suggested that i contact Dodge because it was a known issue with this model and had an extended warranty, to 75,000 miles. Although my van had more than $75,000 miles he suggested i call Dodge to see if they would cover the repairs. He also printed out the 1-800 number for me and gave me details on how to go about asking to have the repairs covered. I was able to have my van repaired and the costs were covered by Dodge (had to take it to a Dodge dealership) so Wisslers saved me nearly $1,000 and didn't make any money on this transaction, but they gained a loyal customer. Would recommend Wisslers for their honesty and service. Have been taking all my vehicles to them for a couple of years now. read more

Please take the time to read this review. My wife and I have been going to wisslers because it is close to our house and we have heard great things about them. We recently took my wife's car in for an inspection, oil change and tire rotation. We were not aware of any problems with her car but when they did the inspection they said that it failed for the left and right front lower control arms having excessive play. They also recommended an alignment for the car pulling to the right. We were not thrilled about spending a total of $668 for everything but we gave them the ok because it needed to be done to pass inspection and I didn't want the car pulling to the right. They also recommended replacing the tires but they did pass inspection so we passed on that because we could get another year out of them before our next inspection. We went to pick up the car that night and while driving it home heard a very loud grinding/screeching noise from the left front tire. We immediately took it back and dropped it off for them to look at the next day. The next day we got a call saying they heard the noise and it was due to the tires being in such bad shape. I didn't believe that tires could make that sound but they assured me that that was the problem. I gave them the go ahead to replace the tires for an additional $461 only because they said it would fix the noise and I did not feel like my wife was safe driving the car with that sound. They replaced the tires the next day. When we picked up the car and drove it home it still made the sound. We immediately returned it to them and said that the tires did not fix the problem. The next day they called and said that they found the problem and it was a plate that was rubbing against a wheel I believe. I asked if they could put the old tires back on because that was obviously not the problem and they said that the tires had already been picked up and recycled. At that point I asked for our money back for the tires because it was a misdiagnosis by them. The service representative talked to the owner and called me back and said that the best they could do was to give us a 10% credit (about $45) towards a future service. I asked if I could speak with the owner and after being on hold I was told that they already talked to him and I could not. This obviously did not sit well with me and I didn't want the credit towards a future service because at that point I was never planning to use them again. The lady also told me that they now somehow found the tires and I could have the tires back but they would not reinstall them and give me my money back for the new ones because I gave them the approval to do the work, even though the only reason I gave the approval was because I was told that would fix the problem. I did not want the old tires back because I can't install them myself and that would only save them money to not have to pay someone to recycle them for them. Frustrated, I went back and picked up the car only to find out that the sound was not fixed. We returned it again. A few days later they said that 3 people drove the car and none of them heard the sound. We went back, picked up the car and have had it for a day now with no grinding/ screeching sound. They must have done something to make the sound go away but they did not tell us what. Ultimately I feel like wisslers is very dishonest and I feel like they should have put our old tires back on and given us our $461 back because the only reason we put new tires on was because of a misdiagnosis by them. We will not be going back to wisslers and I hope that anyone who reads this will agree with me and not give them a chance to take advantage of more people. The only thing that they did that was nice was after the second time that we took the car back they gave us a free loaner car. This was a nice gesture but still does not make up for their dishonesty and charging us for something that did not need done. read more

Very friendly and helpful...but horribly overpriced. The charge to have your serpentine belt replaced is $55 for the belt and another $50 for labor. Bought the belt myself for $25, and I put it on myself. $25 is much better than $100+. I would find another shop. read more
