Coming back in from town, we just had to satisfy our sweet tooth. Since we were there briefly I didn't get to see if there were any seats if you wanted to spend sometime here while enjoying your treat. There was a pretty extensive list of items to look through but I decided on their coffee as well as something with eagle in the name. Ice creams were yummy and very cold. They do Mocktails, using sherbet and soda, and that is truly unique! Love this! There's always a line here, so you know it's popular and GOOD! Great little ice cream place on the side of the road with a massive menu of many flavors and options. Even the doggie dish lets you choose between soft serve and hard! I can't wait to go back here and try everything but for now I can vouch for the root beer float -- very generous portions (and hard to do wrong really). But the thing that stopped me in my tracks was the black raspberry soft serve ice cream!! Wow! We need more flavors in the soft serve world and this is a dynamite one. Loved it, A++ ten out of ten. Ice cream good and made by Round Top. One star for very small portions for the price and not worth it. I was very surprised at the small size for the $. I bought some ice cream as I was submitting a friend to a blind taste test of different Rocky Road/Heavenly Hash brands of ice cream. I immediately drove to a nearby Fielder's Choice for a baby size for the taste test. Compare the Witch Spring kid size at $3.39 to the Fielder's Choice baby size at $3.39. I took them home in a cooler filled with ice. They both started to soften by the time I took the pic. Witch Hill weighed 97 grams and Fielder's choice weighed 279 grams. I had empty containers that I zeroed the scale with before weighing, so the weight is accurate. I call into question the other reviews here that say "huge portions". read more

I have to give Witch Spring Hill high praise for the variety of options on their menu -- hard and soft ice creams in dozens of flavors and formats. The ice cream itself is certainly not my favorite. I have tried several of their hard ice creams and have found each one to be overly sweet. The sweetness masks any other flavor, whether it be coffee, strawberry, or cookies and cream. Most recently, we purchased one of their ice cream cakes. We paid $26 for a custom cake meant to serve 6. The cake was well-made and somehow managed to be the perfect temperature right out of the freezer -- no need to defrost it beforehand. However, the cake could've been better decorated... What makes witch Spring hill different is the great service always friendly that you get all the time.I often get hand packed hard ice cream which really is a pain cuz it's hard to do, takes time, interferes with whatever else you're doing, but they always do it with a smile at Witch Spring Hill. And one other thing. They serve hot dogs which I love- so you can stop there during the day get some Kraut dogs get some ice cream - and it just doesn't get any better than that. read more

They have hot dogs and chips, but stop serving the hot dogs after six p.m. They have some indoor seating, and a few benches and seats outside. Service is always quick and friendly. They have doggy dish ice cream, and are generous with the serving. The location is right along the road, so it can be a little loud if there is a lot of traffic, but a cute little place. read more

Excellent ice cream, the hocus pocus is a take on a New Zealand ice cream called the hokie pokey... one of the best scoops of ice cream I've ever had. The owner let us know that fact and another tip if you have younger children, ask for a larger cone for the kids ice cream... ice cream goes into the cone and not on your kid!
