First off I am the grandmother, I have observed this child go through extreme pain due to a rear end collision where she was sitting still on a Dallas highway due to a collision in front of her, so no fault of her own. This law firm has poorly represented my granddaughter causing her as much anguish as the wreck. They will not answer her calls NOR return her phone calls, at one point they told her she was not ELIGIBLE FOR FURTHER MEDICAL CARE, eventho she was and is suffering from head, face, neck, arm pain, spasms and loss of feelings, where she was unable to work and FYI this child is a workaholic never missing work. Straight up lie- referred my case to an even more inhumane character, who delivers nothing but lip service and years of scarring heartache-Kristina Kastl. Zero communication, utter disregard for my well being, my serious injuries sustained and has NEVER sat down with me, the client, to go over extremely important FACTS of the 18 wheeler case she's supposed to be fully knowledgeable about. My case has grossly suffered as a result of me reporting an unconscionable, illegal act to the State Bar of Texas. My complaint has been a source of blackmail to either drop the "counterproductive " complaint or my 18 wheeler case was not going to get the time required. I became a client of Witherite Law Group on March 4, 2025. It started off like it was going to be a great professional experience until I started to have interaction with my appointed attorney Josh Alexander, he is unprofessional and does not care about his client's needs. I got the run around. It was determined through (my) Orthopedic Physician not the one that Witherite Law Group assigned me that I had more of a severe injury than what the Witherite Law Group Physician stated to me. To make this review short because it can be a novel. I was not compensated enough for my injury which is going to be a life injury, I have to have an entire (L) side shoulder replacement. It was all about money. I finally received some compensation with the help from Robert Fitzpatrick (Attorney with Witherite) he rocks it will not cover a lifelong injury, but it's something. To end this, I will never use/recommend this Law group to anyone stop listening to those radio advertisements and read the reviews they speak truth I wish I had instead of the radio advertisements. I was shocked and disappointed by my experience with Witherite Law Firm. As a client for six weeks, I expected regular updates and communication about my case. Instead, I only spoke with someone once. This lack of attention fell far short of what I expect from a legal representative. A client deserves to feel informed and supported, not neglected. I received a email this morning saying that theyve been trying to reached me. (this is the first and only attempt) I called in to speak with my "case manager", and I was told that they would not be moving forward with my case due to a video they received from the other party, which I am completely oblivious to. I just feel the entire experience was a waste of time. These people needed to be investigated for fraud. I do not recommend this attorney group. I can't believe the reviews everyone is giving this law firm, My daughter has had a case with them for 3 years and 8 months with no contact until the last month. And after 3 years plus she's only able to walk away with maybe 7 thousand dollars. I've been supporting her since and I've went through my personal savings of 20 thousand dollars. And this is the end result. She's disabled for life what a waste. I guess they only work hard for the people whos hit by an 18wheeler. Wow! Where do I start? I had two accidents in 2022. In the first one, I was side swiped by an eighteen wheeler, (which they transferred the case to another law office about a month ago, but they are supposed to be experts in these types of cases). In the second accident, I was rear ended by a car. I decided to call Witherite Law for both accidents; since Amy is all over V103 advertising her law firm for use in accidents involving trucks. A few months ago, my second case settled before the first one for $19,000. Anyway, when I called Tasha to check the status on my check, she informed me that my settlement check had been stolen and cashed. That was about 2 months ago, and I still have yet to get my money. So, needless to say, I am very pissed off with the way all of this is being/not being handled. Not to mention, the only way I get updates is if I call. I feel I have been more patient than most, but something needs to be done... now. While I am patiently waiting for this to be resolved, my bills are NOT. Amy, I called your law firm because I thought you would have my best interests in mind. Sadly, that is NOT the case. The insurance company cut me a check for 19,000, sent the check to your law firm and, while in your care, it was stolen and cashed. I don't see the insurance company cutting me or you all another check for 19,000. They did their part; now please do yours! Even if that means your law firm cutting me another check. I have been told a police report has been filed. Martin even told me that the board of directors are aware of the situation and are working on it. Unfortunately, that is NOT putting money in my pocket. It's been two months! I really hate having to worry about this going into the holiday season. It is putting a damper on things, and I could really use the money. If this is not resolved soon, I will call V-103 and every news station in Georgia and tell them what a lousy job Witherite Law as done, in procuring my settlement check, until I get my money. I received personal and IMMEDIATE attention, from the moment I made the initial phone call the night of my accident until the time I had a check in my hands. Jib, the attorney representing my case, was nothing short of professional and client-oriented. He kept me informed with every update and change and on the rare occasions where I needed to reach out and he wasn't available, he always returned my call the same day. Attorneys usually get a bad rep for over-promising only to under-deliver. Jib was the polar opposite - under-promising what to expect and over-delivered where it mattered -- in my bank account. In April 2017 I was involved in a car accident with an 18 wheeler vehicle. While traveling to work, the truck veered over to my lane and struck my vehicle. As a result of the accident, I experienced a shoulder injury. Well I reached to Eberstein and Witherite shared my story and they accepted my case. I was able to attend therapy and get my shoulder the attention it needed. My attorney was Victor Rodriguez and if I ever had any questions or concerns he took care of me. Very happy to work with him. A couple of things to note- This is a process and it takes time. In my case it has almost been two years and well I am still waiting to get everything finalized. So you must have patience. There are so many factors that you must keep in mind- the time factor, your personal insurance will be affected- my insurance rate did increase, yes attorneys do get you taken care of but its not as easy as the marketing for these type of situations would have you believe. Finally getting around to this. Amy thanks for the response. So my issues are 1. Acknowledge a client's concerns and respond in a timely manner, which is not something your firm seems to want to do. 2. Set proper expectations for clients on what to do. Something else your firm does not do. 3. I specifically asked for my inquiries to be responded to in writing so I could have a "documented" exchange, and the fact your firm seems to not want to do that is concerning. 4. You asked me for an in person meeting. Unless you are paying for my time off work, that is not feasible. Remember, I was the client and you should be accommodating to your clients wishes not the other way around. 5. When I asked to speak to someone regarding my concerns and stated I "may" file a complaint with the board. The next response I received from you was informing me you were dropping my case after your firm sent me to a hack of a chiropractor who over charged me for 8 minute visits. But I want to thank you for fitting the derogatory stereotypes a lot of personal injury attorneys and the complete lack of empathy some have for their clients have. You nailed that to a T. However there is light at the end of this tunnel, I found a reputable attorney with Mullen and Mullen who has been by my side throughout this process. Who responds to my emails and text messages within an hour and set proper expectations. In conclusion Amy, if your goal is to have a firm of attorneys who like to churn and burn while nickel and dimeing your clients you have succeeded. I am very frustrated. On April 23rd in an email between me and my Case person Michael I was given an estimate of 6-7 weeks for my check. I call around June 15th it should be ready in. 10 days. I call on July 2nd let me give some extra days.I spoke to both Michael Smith and Jennifer Rodriguez. Michel informs me that my check should be cut by Friday. I call today .... You guessed it - No check. I am told maybe Tuesday. ‍ Here is why I am so mad... For my bday in 2016 I purchased a Jaguar. Got a GREAT deal!! I had the car 14 days and on my bday a kid in her moms BMW ran a light and totaled my car. Because of work, I needed a new car didn't get to take my time and purchase like I did the Jag. This accident cost me almost 15000 in debt and they got me a whopping 2000 bucks that I have yet to see. My case persons Michael and Jennifer are nice people but it doesn't negate that not following through on your word. I just want my little 2000 settlement for this unlicensed little girl that ran a light and hit me on my birthday. I should have called the I just Got Hit guys from the radio. The 2000 bucks is my PIP from Geico, I could have dont that myself. I was in settlement negotiations in Kansas. The attorneys I worked for would have never given clients a run around like this. Since July 19th 2022 I was involved in an accident. was referred to them. I started appointments and treatments for my body and have been since out of work. treatments ended in November and after that they began requesting documents from the doctors to provide for case from December to may of 2023. once they sent out demand letter in may they said please allow 45-60 days which I allowed longer because I know things happen. at this point I am communicating heavy weekly for updates. more than less I never got returned calls, texts or emails, until in July lawyer called and told me they will be going back and forth on the amount and should be completed by 31 august. I said fine I allow even longer and now I'm texting and calling every Monday for weekly updates. to the point I start speaking to no one is returning my calls and texts again. I was told end of September check has been mailed and please allow 7-10 days. I allowed longer again because at this point I feel like I'm nagging them. its now almost end of October and haven't got a response, a text, an email to the number given where I was getting some support and haven't since. its now been about 15 months on this matter. I called this law firm after my family was rear ended. This law firm would not take the case because the car doesn't show that much damage. My husband who was in the back seat and my of age (25) daughter was in the front. My husband hasn't been able to work since December. If you are not decapitated or injured to almost death I guess they will not bother with you. I keep forgetting to Yelp things that aren't a restaurant, haha. Anyway, lawyers typically get a bad rap because they get associated with the ambulance chasing fools from the days of yore. But like any other profession, there are good lawyers and bad lawyers. Eberstein & Whiterite is a GREAT firm. When you're hurting, it's pretty hard to stay optimistic. Daily pain is truly a bitch and some days it's hard to just get out of bed. Can you imagine how much worse it gets when you have people actively working against you? Insurance companies, employers, doctors, the jerks who caused your injury, etc. (whatever the specifics are in your own situation.) It sucks! It's nice to have someone on your side that you can trust. Someone who believes in you. It makes a shitty situation just a little better. Everyone I've worked with has been fantastic. In 2016 I decided to against what I have always done and give a larger firm a try. Best decision. They are one the great places to work for in Dallas. My perceived notion of a large firm was shattered when I started working here.
