Let me preface this with the fact that I am brutally honest and quite literal. I gave you the benefit of the doubt on question #1. The reality is I have NO idea how you did. Only time will tell. I brought my 1995 Olds Cutlass Supreme in on Tuesday, March 11th. I have gone through 3 new Die Hard Gold batteries from Sears in the past year. Periodically I go out to my car and it is dead. My "significant other" purchased the car new 18+ years ago. He has ALWAYS chosen Witt Buick as his car repair business. When he decided to upgrade about 10 years ago, he purchased a Buick LaSabre from Witt Buick and I got the Cutlass. So you guys have done all the maintenance on the Cutlass. My partner is 72 with some cancer health issues. My Mom is 92. I need a reliable car that I can depend on to start when I go to get in it. Sears claimed that the alternator checked out just fine and it was a bad battery 3 different times. While possible statistically I guess, I found this very hard to believe. So on my partner's suggestion, I called Witt to see if they could assist me in getting to the bottom of the problem. After running it and then letting it sit for a while, they checked out the various codes. Low and behold, the alternator seemed to be the culprit. So it was replaced. This brings us to question #1. Sears said the alternator was just fine and Witt said it was bad. Time will be show who was correct. I'm placing my trust & faith in YOU having the more sophisticated equipment. My partner, Jim Graves, has great confidence in you and I'm following his lead. I was treated with courtesy and kindness. I was informed of the results and the price in a timely manner. For over 50 years, my own family (brothers, sisters, children) have always been more than satisfied for the service provided by the workmanship of the repair work done on any of our cars at Witt Buick. I would never hesitate to recommend the Witt Buick dealer. If there ever was a problem, it was corrected to our satisfaction. I went in for a no charge repair on a used car that I had recently purchased, a part had to be ordered and it was in. I was also waiting for an owner's manual for the car. I had an appointment scheduled. It took about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, which is exactly what I had been told it would take. Upon picking it up, Chris asked how I was liking the car (new to me but purchased from Witt gently used). I replied fine but was struggling with how to get the heat on. This company is great. Archer and his team always do a great job for us. I have used them for service repairs, body shop work, bought tires here and they provide professional service and affordable prices. What I really appreciate is when they fix our car it is fixed right. We were quickly greeted when we entered the service area. The service person verified what we wanted done. He gave an estimate for how long the repair would take. He offered us a ride if we wanted one. The waiting room was comfortable. There were coffee, tea, orange juice and donut holes available. The repair was completed during the time estimated. Brought in my 2002 Cadillac SLS as it was running horribly, extreme low idle (would stall at a stop) to extreme high idle (would idle down the road at 60 mph and still would be climbing).
