It just simply didn's work out, rather than highlights (which to us being from Canton) means light streaks, she came home with beige hair and no perceptable highlights that either of us could detect. My wife was in tears and needless to say I was extremely disappointed. Withe the hair being so light we will likely need to wait a year for it to grow our completely so we can start over. So we spent $120 and my soft hearted wife even tipped her. We learned a couple of lessons here. 1. Get recommendations from people you trust. and reviews are helpful. and 2. Understand the limitations of people you are dealing with. There are no substitutes for experience and a careful approach with expectactions discussed. And as a bonus lesson, be wary if an appointment is too easy to get.

The entire place is absolutely spotless and even the restroom is beautiful and filled with the little things one might need. The temperature is always comfortable as is the lighting. The equipment is up-to-date and effective. And last but not least, the decor is a mix of modern and bohemian, something quite appealing. I'll stay loyal to this shop for years to come, I'm sure.

I decided to get the works, eyebrow threading, tinting, and eyelash extensions (the one I had was the little strip ones that you piece together to complete a look the plastic like lashes not mink) I get my services and I was having issues with the lashes while in the chair the woman who at this time I cannot recall her name I think it's MANSI GUPTA but it's not the older woman (the mother ) but her daughter with light like brown streaks in her hair. So she attempts to fix the issue of something sticking in my eyelid. I think the issue is resolved. Saturday rolls around I have this stabbing pain later that evening in my eyelid!! Felt like NEEDLES being jammed in my lids. So the salon was closed by this time and I could not get help. I suffered in pain until that Monday when they opened and I could go back during lunch hour. I called before I came to tell them I'm having issues. So Monday she helps me and pulls the "dry glue" out of my eyelid. So I think all is well right? NOPE! The next day the other eye the lashes are literally lifting up and dangling, itching in my eye. I go back Tuesday, the woman who normally does eyes lashes is not there so the little girl gives me the phone to speak with her and I tell her my issue now with the other eye and she tells me "ohhh you just haven't had it in a while so you just not use to it" umm weird so According to her ? this is normal. So I get off the phone and the young girl that was there tries to push it together (while sticking her nasty finger in my eyeball which I had to jerk my head back) and it was ok for that moment. Now the daughter told me if I had any other issues to just come back when she's there. So I leave and that same night? Lashes start falling ALL THE WAY OFF! So I can't return wed or thurs due to work. I return Friday (today) 05/05 to get my lash fixed that is now still hanging in my eye!! The woman who is the daughter first wouldn't even Acknowledge me when she walked in and tried to take another woman over me . Luckily the woman let me go ahead of her. I expressed my displeasure of me having to come back and forth for my lashes I paid for! She starts to get an attitude and talking to me as if I were unintelligent and telling me "this is normal! This is normal! The eyelash is still on your eye!" I said it's still hanging in my eye!! She was like you got stuff stuck all on them. (My first time putting makeup on since I got the lashes was last night for an event) yeah it blew on to it cause I had makeup on and the eyelash was still in my eye BEFORE THAT! She starts to raise her voice and talking to me like I'm some bozo POC!! She was walking around around threatening me with "I got cameras!" I never said anything to threaten this woman, I never even cussed! I simply let her know you will not talk to me like this! Why you yelling? You do this in your own business? Guess she didn't care because who cares if they have my business right? I'm insignificant? She kept trying to play me like I was dumb and talking to me so nasty. It was embarrassing! I now am going to the emergency room because I am in so much pain in which this woman refused to help me because I told her that the lashes SHE PUT ON were not applied properly! She said ANY LASH TECH WILL TELL YOU THAT THE LASHES YOU GET PUT ON WILL NEVER STAY "PERFECT" . No, the problem is they aren't stay on AT ALL AND STUCK INTO MY EYE!!! She got angered when I told her she was not going to treat me like trash she gets aggressive with me!! Gives me barely a partial refund and tries to physically push me out with her body language walking up on me. I called a few lash techs and went to another lash tech you know what they told me? NO THIS IS NOT NORMAL AND WHO EVER DID THEM? APPLIED THEM INCORRECTLY!! Told me to go to the hospital it may be infected!! These lashes didn't even last a FULL WEEK!! Oh and she told me I was "banned" lmao! A joke! unprofessional and ghetto!

I got my hair cut by Jill yesterday. It was one of the worst experiences I've had. I brought a…read morepicture and she said it was shorter than what I had and she'd need to cut an inch off. I told her I really didn't want it to be much shorter and challenged her assessment showing her where the hair in the picture ended, which was at the bottom of her collarbone. That's exactly where mine was and I questioned just getting the layers taken up a bit and shaped. She agreed so we proceeded. She started the cut with my chin down in the back. Next thing I know, she feels for my collarbone (the top), pulls the wet hair very taught and cuts it. Now, you don't need much of a brain in your head to realize that your hair is going to dry shorter than when you pull it straight down when it's wet. You also don't need much of a brain to realize that if you do this when someone's chin is down, the hair is going to be at least an inch shorter when they put their head back up. When I mentioned that the hair was too short, she started making excuses about the layers and saying that she's been cutting hair for 31 years. I have also cut hair and the angles of the layers are completely wrong (the layers should've been convex and they are concave), the layers on the side of my head are completely different from the layers in the back of my hair and she cut it 2 inches shorter than the picture. When I brought up that the layers were wrong, her alternative was to cut it even shorter. I said no thank you and I prepared myself to leave. She said "well, what do you want me to change because I want you to be happy". Unless you can reattach the 2 inches, there's no chance of me being happy. I prepared to leave, and this woman still charged me full price, knowing that she completely botched my hair. If you walk in without a preference and let her do whatever she wants, you MIGHT get a decent haircut. Doubtful based on my experience, but maybe. If you walk in with a picture, hoping for your hair to look like that when you leave, I don't think there's much of a chance of that happening. She showed that she's going to do what she wants to your hair not what you want.
