Similar to another... not only are they over charging, They don't pick up when they say they will. They didn't pick up my recycling the week they were supposed to AND my recycling day was Tuesdays but they didnt pick up til Wednesdays. When I messaged about the missed pick up, they told me to keep the can out for pick up but never did. So then choice offers me cheaper for the same services. So I switched, and blown away by $75+ to pick up cans. not even GFL did that. They gladly took Them. We shouldn't be charged because you decided to 3rd party your can pick up. And that isn't part of your selling pitch when people join. read more

They are the worst. Over the years, missed pickups, arguing with me about whether my trash can was out or not, extra fuel charges, not offering anything when they don't show up. Finally, when they missed 2 weeks in a row, we canceled their service and picked up another that was slightly more than half the price of them and they pick up more stuff. read more

Beware of what you sign up for with this company! I think their charges are high--they have gone up 50% since I started 4 yrs ago. But the real catch is what you will pay if you cancel service: $75, plus about 4 other charges that have no amount specified (I'm guessing maybe another $100!), even if you give them 3 months notice of termination. I'm looking into what other providers charge to see if I can take my lumps and move on asap. read more

Not typically one to post a complaint, but this is possibly my worst service experience in 20+ years of business. Specifically, I was unaware that if a neighbor contaminates our dumpster WM marks it for trash the next day. We inspect and clean it out (if needed) every few days, but if we miss one, all of our recycling goes to the landfill AND we are charged an additional $268 fee even though the container is never full and could easily just get picked up the following week (once we have had time to catch the non-recyclables). You guys are really gonna hold me hostage to your service. I thoughr i was choosing the best available above county waste and choice waste in my area. But you want a new customer to pay $3 per additional bag on pick up day and an extra $125 for a non pickup day. AND even though I dont have a contract I have to pay you $75 to come get your own can and no option to return it myself. Even choice waste allows for up to 5 extra bags per pickup at 10 cheaper per month. How can you possibly consider yourselves customer focused??? #HIGHWAYROBBERY read more

Waste Management bills for services 3 months at a time in advance. If you cancel at anytime during these 3 months, you will not get a refund. Nor do they tell you this when you are on the phone to them cancelling the services (I'm sure it is in their fine print but who remembers this from 4 years prior) They are very expensive and to pay for something you do not receive is a total rip off. read more
