First time purchasing a few Records from Vinyl Junkies…read more. Had them shipped to Iowa, Great price & they shipped them in a mighty mailer for extra protection and they arrived in great condition within a reasonable timeframe.. However incurred a minor issue at no fault to the store, inner sleeves were missing, this was a known issue from the record producer on this particular release, worked with Jules at Vinyl Junkies and she worked diligently with their supplier to make things right, took a bit but she got it done and shipped them right away free of charge and in perfect condition.. If you're looking for great service on your next vinyl purchase look no further, these guys and gals are great and they stand by what they sell.. Thanks Vinyl Junkies! & Thank you Jules for completing my album's.. ~ Jason

This is a small and funky vinyl shop with a fair amount of used CDs. In fact, they have more used…read moreCDs here than just about anywhere else I have ever seen, other than at Amoeba in Los Angeles. They also have old cassette tapes, too, if you are a weirdo and a masochist. There are three rooms to explore and a little courtyard in between them all. I have to believe this space was a coffee house or something like that in a different life. The vinyl record collection is the emphasis, as it should be, and it is well-organized. There is some organization to some of the CDs but many of them are just stacked here and there. That is ok. If you are a musical dinosaur like some of us, some of the fun is in the hunt itself. The only drag is parking. Street parking is your only option and it is rough. The good news is there are some cool other shops in this area to explore, like books, beer, food, etc. Well worth a visit for music fans.

Full Contact Rock N Roll…read more My wife and I often park near this place often when going to Part Time Lover three blocks down on 30th. And until tonight, I was scared to go in... a shining well-lighted open door that says "OPEN" on an otherwise dark street, it looks "wierd" from the outside. Well, stepping inside all doubts are confirmed. This place is weird... DELIGHTFULLY weird! Cramped and quirky, this place is SUPER COOL. An endless supply of rock n roll and other t-shirts, used vinyl, with ratings on the front showing condition of cover and the vinyl. For instance G/VG means cover is only "good" but the vinyl is "very good" I ended up buying like five record albums I was not expecting too. Okay, on to the best part. David. Super-cool-looking rock-n-roll David. Shy David. David the proprietor who barely let me take his picture for my Yelp review. A guy with cool stories about the stuff he has, and personal experiences with artists and recording stars. The first record he ever bought was Johnny Cash (cuz I was there on the hunt for Cash on behalf of my wife, came away with three used Cash records) You gotta step inside this place and see what happens. Super cool. Bringing my wife back here to go through his Elvis albums. Elvis is on sale right now because he has a bunch, and when the ELVIS movie came out they were hot but it's died down. Not in my wife's heart, Elvis hasn't!

Price point does vary depending on what it is you are looking for, decent if you ask me. The store is a little compact and filled to the rim but that's what makes it fun getting to dig through everything. Was greeted by a super chill guy working the counter. Off street parking available.

They are always perfect. I once got a teddy pendergrass album for $10 and will forever be thankful for that find! The owner is knowledgeable & literally knows what his buyers will like. Every time I come in, he has stuff on hold for his regulars and reaches out to them to come by and get the tape or vinyl. He's the real deal. I bring all my vinyl loving friends here! & will continue to do so.

Customer service was amazing - a guy who works there offered me water and answered my relentless questions. I had a lot of fun through the small exchange. Their cassette collection leans towards the 90s and 2000s, which I'm not complaining. I thought the price point would be expensive for these vintage finds, but they are so cheap ($5 for The Beach Boys and $9 for Pink Floyd). The dominant genres are alternative and rap. I didn't look too deep into their vinyl records but they got a good mixture of current mainstream to hip hop mainstream - from Daniel Caesar to Vanilla Ice (good stuff). They also have CDs, pins, and vintage shirts. I didn't dig through the CDs and pins, but their curated shirts are pretty top-notch - from Ralp Lauren to 80s Nike (designs look like they were out of MTV during their neon days). The prices are a bit pricey ($30ish). One thing I thought that was very interesting is the bowls made out of discarded vinyl records. It's the coolest thing I have ever seen.

When I enter a record store I look for two things right away. One is engagement from the owner or…read moreemployee that happens to be working that day. Second is organization. I have been crate digging for over 15 years and I am starting to appreciate organization more and more! Feelit Records was suggested to me from a DJ homie in Chicago as "A MUST" to visit! When the day came for me to visit, Owner Mark was working that day and immediately introduced himself and offered up suggestions and how to navigate the layout of the store. Mark is SUPER knowledgeable about music and has a passion to serve his customers. His store is cozy, warm and welcoming. I have got to experience some cool events hosted at his store. A local skratch crew hosts cutting sessions outside the store on the sidewalk!! No matter your skill, you can come up meet new people and start scratching! MIND-BLOWN!! Second cool experience is Record Store Day 2019. I was first in line because i was THIRSTY to get my hands on a copy of The Crow Soundtrack. This album has been a Holy Grail of mine and I now have a chance to score a copy. As the line grew longer and longer, and Mark was getting close to open up. Instead of a stampede of people trying to rush the store, he came outside and asked everyone in line what they are looking for. MIND-BLOWN #2 Genius idea and what a way to serve your customers with a unique experience. If you are ever in San Diego, or a local you need to visit Mark and Feelit Records!! You will not be dissapointed.

The selection is very good and the man working there was very nice and helpful, the price range is really depending on what record you want, but from what I found, it was an excellent price.
