They had a stand with a money box and you took your apples and put your money in the box. Unfortunately, I only stopped once because the apples were very soft and we ended up throwing them away. The new owners have done a lovely job with the orchard and have classes there as well as summer concerts. They have a cute gift shop with seasonal fruit, meat and handmade gifts from local artisans. We walked through the petting zoo, there was horses, sheep, goats, roosters, turkeys, pigs, cows, the kids got a kick out of it. We each got a small pumpkin to paint or take home which the kids really enjoyed. They offered horse drawn rides, tractor rides, face painting, story time with mother goose & a corn maze (which was not much of a maze). It is really perfect for kids 2-10. The store offers a selection of breads, pies, jams and produce. They sell ice cream, and had cider donuts available and outside they have a small shack that sells hot dogs, chips, etc. Overall we spent about 2 hours here and really enjoyed it!

When we arrived though, we found out that the farm is usually closed during the summer (unless you email the owner in advance) and that their website is the only reliable site to see the hours! Luckily, the owner was around and super nice and gave us a tour anyway! There were goats, a mini horse, a mini donkey, and an alpaca herd worthy of the trek we took! All the animals were really friendly, and the owner was incredibly informative. The highlight was probably an extra cuddly mini donkey that ran to my boyfriend and insisted on being pet! Overall - it was a fun adventure and I highly recommend it! I'm sure it's even better once the weather is cooler!

The girls first got to walk with the goats and play a fun game after a short hike. They then had the chance to hold baby bunnies and chickens. Bella shared so many great animal facts with us and was so patient and kind, answering our questions. This is an approved Girl Scout field trip spot so i would highly recommend this to other troops too. Our girls were 3rd graders, great age. We earned the outdoor adventurer badge by doing this today!

We each had an alpaca (two llamas) and hiked to to the top of a beautiful mountain with a great view! She led us down and we were completed in 2 hours. She is a kind soul who led the children around the farm and allowed them to hold chickens, pet goats, and observe a 40 pound turkey. She answered every question they had and it was overall, a great experience! She takes a donation for her time and it is well worth it. We plan to come back again in the spring when it is warmer and the view changes with the season.
