They had a stand with a money box and you took your apples and put your money in the box. Unfortunately, I only stopped once because the apples were very soft and we ended up throwing them away. The new owners have done a lovely job with the orchard and have classes there as well as summer concerts. They have a cute gift shop with seasonal fruit, meat and handmade gifts from local artisans. I have been blueberry picking since I was a little kid with a coffee can hanging around my neck with a string of yarn. I always have & always will love the experience. I have been to farms in PA, NC, & SC. This was my first in MA. When we arrived, we met the owner, Bill. He was very nice & directed us to the bushes & gave us our buckets. My first observation: the bushes are enclosed in netting, you have to enter the area through mesh doors. Okay, smart move- keeping the birds out has enabled the bushes to have a HUGE crop. Every bush was bursting with large, ripe berries. We picked nine pounds of berries in no time, it would have been easy to keep going. The charge was $30, much less than you would pay in the stores for this quantity. The property was beautiful, and the farm was the perfect size. I'm happy to support local farmers, and we'll be back! Bonus tip: blueberries freeze well, so why not pick extra?!?

I purchased a couple of the chickens they raise and I can tell you they were just delicious! My wife and daughter are from China and find American chicken to be lacking in flavor. They loved this chicken and I have been advised to go buy a couple more. We have over-bred our chickens and we feed them who knows what so they get big and plump but have no flavor. These chicken are raised is a fenced in pasture I saw myself, and they move the enclosure around to give them fresh pasture periodically. I will be trying the eggs next when I go buy myself a couple more chickens and will provide feedback on the eggs,

The ice cream is sweet and creamy with plenty of flavor. Next up, we explored their market. Gift items, pantry items, grab 'n go cakes, muffins, pizza strips and sweet snacks, milk, cheese, ice cream containers. Lots of sweet treats in the display cases too. We ended our visit with a visit to the cows and milking barn. We were too early to see the milking process but we did walk the little trail where kids can participate in a scavenger hunt. Get supplies in the tractor mailbox at the beginning if the path. A few heifers are penned up outside the milking barn and several more were standing in front of a huge fan at the back. At 90° even the cows want a fan! There's a good amount of parking in front of and to the left of the market. Handicap spots are right by the market door. Two porta-potty right next to the parking lot.

Their ice cream is also available to take out. In the warmer parts of the year there is an onsite ice cream stand run outside in an old camper - charming! They do custom cakes and orders, handled in an office onsite. Plenty of parking. They also have a self guided tour of the dairy operation.

I am…read morenow 33- and I took my four-year-old niece here so we could build a scarecrow like I used to with my aunt. The employees are pleasant. The prices are great. You can build a scarecrow- they offer clothes or you can bring your own. The price was really good. And the experience was even better. You sit in all the hay- you're given instructions on how to build him/her and then you make memories. Once you are all done, an employee puts your scarecrow together for you. And then you can draw the face. It's exactly the same process from when I was little and It brought back so many memories. They also have a small farm in the back . You pay for food and then you can see the chickens the horse, the goats and a few other animals. Also, during the weekend you can do pumpkin picking and go on a hayride. If you haven't been here, this is for sure a hidden jam that's been around for an extremely long time. My niece enjoyed her time and our scarecrow is so cute.
