We finally got our flights, but there was nowhere to sit, as the picnic tables were full, and there wasn't much flat ground to set up our folding chairs. We were offered a seat at a picnic table by some very nice people, who were just as confused as us until someone offered them their table. We tried our wines, which were okay, and left. It was just an awkward setup and there seemed to be lots of confusion on where people were supposed to go.

Easy to find via GPS, there is a small parking area right next to the farm's fields in North Scituate. There's a small stand where you prepay a pint at $6, a fee that is deducted from your final expense when you're done picking. The weekend price is $4.75/lb... cheaper during the week but I can't recall the specifics. Open everyday but Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There's a loyalty program available once you've picked 10lbs of berries (two of us easily picked 6lbs together on a relatively quick visit so it's doable). The staff were very helpful and explained everything we needed to know to get things started. Three fields were pointed out to us, with the freedom to choose whichever we wanted. It was explained that each blueberry bush was different and to feel free to taste test to find ones we were interested in picking. It didn't take long before we were underway - filling our borrowed buckets with shoulder straps full of berry deliciousness. Beautiful, peaceful farm for an enjoyable late morning out. It was a somewhat overcast day which made for ideal picking conditions. I'd suggest wearing a sun hat and other sun protection if you're here on a clear day. Quick in and out to pay for what we gathered - very pleasant experience overall.

Weekdays are obviously cheaper, we paid $10 for adult entry and then $.50 per tulip! (Kids entry is $5, toddlers free). You must buy your tickets online before going to the farm! They had an "in the pink" truck at the farm as well serving acai bowls and smoothies. Very vintage looking, added a cute touch. They have a couple of "show" gardens where you can get some nice pictures and also some nice props for photos. The playground area also left much to be desired, that state was very unclean, strange rugs placed all over, very old toys that looked infested and didn't want my toddler near. It was concerning and the closest I've ever felt to being on the set of Silence of the lambs. We couldn't even tell who was running the place, there was a lack of clear guidance on what to do, making the experience feel disorganized and, frankly, a waste of time. I think some improvements in cleanliness, clear communication about the activities, and better organization could make a big difference. Overall, it was a bizarre experience that didn't meet the expectations set by the advertisement. And my kids still can't juggle.

This fair has gone downhill over the past few years…read more Yes, they still have all of the agricultural aspects, but the small vendors and shops have gone WAY downhill. The majority of shopping places are selling the exact same things, and it is all cheap junk. This used to be the best place to go to buy from local crafters and vendors. They also have the majority of the food vendors all in on one area of a particular road which causes a huge jam of thousands of people - so much so that you can do nothing but move in the sea of people even when the fair isn't that packed! The midway is ridiculously priced, not sure how most families afford to visit this part of the fair anymore. I know the prices they charge are probably out of their control but there should be a better way so that all families can enjoy it.
