I got food poisoning and have been feeling terrible since eating their food(Monday night) I am currently in the hospital because of how messed up my stomach and intestines are. The chicken was very dry and tasted like how chickens smell. It was disgusting and disappointing. Usually, I like coming here, but now I will never go. This could be a cause of a food borne illness. The food was very delicious, flavorful, and given in large portions We looked up their menu, but on their social media pages and website, the menu was over 7 years old, so the prices were higher than what we initially thought. We ordered take out, and for 5 adults and 2 kids, it cost $60-$80, which isn't bad considering we each had our own dish, plus a container of rice per person. The food was good. The meal prep was slow. Counter clerk was handling food utensils after handling money and credit card transactions without washing hands. The dining area is not heated and was too cold to dine in at the restaurant. No public restrooms. The law says the minimum temperature for indoor workplaces is 68 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum is 76 degrees Fahrenheit. This includes bathrooms. There menu is huge and practically has everything you have ever seen in chinese restaurant. The food is average and at a good deal, its hard to pass up. As far as cheap Chinese food goes around here, this is our go-to. The General tso tofu is always crispy and tasty and you get SO much food for like $6.75. The vegetable lo mein is pretty darn good too. I really wanted to love their hot & sour soup, but it is just too weirdly thick for me and isn't the best I've tasted either. Bars on the windows/doors of every business in this strip mall EXCEPT wok n roll. Haha Sort of a sketchy spot, but it's cheap and hits the spot when you just want to stuff your face with unhealthy food. You get a lot of deliciousness for your money, although how much money that is seems to change day to day--I've eaten here several times in the same week and it's varied by a buck or so depending on factors I'm not aware of. Steamed dumplings, chicken with garlic sauce and mixed vegetables, General Tso's chicken, won ton soup, egg rolls, fried rice - all for under $23. I'm really picky about the chicken texture from Chinese restaurants - this was perfect! The food is decent for the price, large portions, and traditional NY Chinese (to an extent). However, the staff, which I believe to be family owned, are very rude. I live about 7 minutes away and often want to go there, but I like to try new things and every time I have a question I either just get a stare or yelled at. Maybe there is a very large communication barrier and they really just don't understand me.
