The best Chinese food in Lancaster County. Friendly staff, who puts customer care first. Always a pleasure to place my order over the phone. I don't ever have to repeat myself. I pick up just to say hi to these wonderful people who make the best Asian food in town.

This is the pad Thai with shrimp. Large amount. Not very flavorful this time. Was a lot better reheated at home.

They have a small buffet that honestly is enough of a selection for me (it's not going to be considered "enough" for everyone, this isn't the Manor Buffet).

The sheer amount of food and variety they have is unbelievable! There is literally something for everybody, and everything we tried was delicious. The food was fresh, hot, flavorful, and there were so many options that it was honestly hard to decide what to put on the plate first. From the meats and sides to the seafood, desserts, breakfast options, and everything in between, Shady Maple really takes the meaning of a buffet to another level. And the desserts? Absolutely incredible! What impressed me the most was how clean, organized, and well-run everything was despite how many people were there. The staff was friendly, helpful, and constantly working to keep everything stocked and looking great. Since moving to Pennsylvania, I've been trying to experience some of the places that make this area special, and Shady Maple Smorgasbord is definitely one of those places. This isn't just somewhere you go to grab a meal -- it's an entire experience. You come hungry, you leave FULL, and you're already thinking about what you're going to try the next time you come back! My family and I had an amazing time, and I'm genuinely glad we made the trip. If you've never been to Shady Maple, do yourself a favor and GO! Bring your appetite because you're going to need it. Absolutely phenomenal food, incredible selection, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Shady Maple has officially earned a spot on my list of places I NEED to come back to. 10/10 doesn't even feel like enough. This place is TREMENDOUS!

The inside of this place literally looks like a college dining hall but the food is like something out of a loving grandmother's kitchen. We were in the area to inquire about building something for our home at a nearby business and the business owner recommended we come here for lunch-and we were glad because it's our family's new favorite! We love it so much we came back and ate here a second time. The first time we came I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was probably one of the best meatloafs I've ever had: tender and beefy. My son had the chicken and cheddar quesadilla with waffle fries which he loved. My husband had chicken soup and a lemon blueberry pie that was so good (he shared some with us). The second time we came my son and I hit Philly cheesesteak quesadillas and my husband got a club sandwich. Fast friendly service and the definition of comfort food. Come get some!

They were the go-to spot for unlimited seafood, sushi, hibachi, and just about everything else. Nowadays, it feels like more people are cooking at home to save money or opting for smaller, trendier restaurants. The staff here was attentive, and I appreciated that they spoke and understood English well. Unfortunately, our experience at checkout left a bad impression. One of the Chinese waitresses was unnecessarily rude and more focused on proving she was right than calmly explaining the situation, so minus one star. The food itself was pretty standard, with limited sashimi and hibachi options, so minus another star. I did enjoy the chocolate fountain, dessert bar, cake fridge, and soft-serve ice cream--they brought back nostalgic buffet memories. The restaurant was also very clean, which I always appreciate.

Some traditional Amish dishes were available that I didn't care for but others might. The desserts were my favorite, including the pumpkin cake and the apple crumble. If you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price, this place is hard to beat. A few highlights from our visit: The buffet is the best value, offering unlimited access to a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes. Both hot and cold buffet options are available, so there's something for everyone. Dessert is included and features options like pie and soft serve ice cream. The food tasted fresh, homemade, and consistently well-stocked. We left incredibly full and satisfied. Other things worth noting: Plenty of parking available in the rear lot. Clean and well-maintained bathrooms. Friendly, attentive service throughout the meal. Despite arriving with a party of five, we were seated in about 10 minutes. Overall, Dienner's delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a Pennsylvania Dutch buffet: fresh comfort food, generous portions, great service, and excellent value. Whether you're visiting the Lancaster area or finishing up an Amish tour, it's a great place to sit down for a filling meal. I'd happily return on a future trip.

Some of the hot items in the buffet were cold, maybe because we dined at 8am right when they opened (???) Hotel Rooms: 2 stars... fairly nice and tidy rooms. Comfortable beds and a restful nights sleep. The negatives -- We stayed for 2 nights; the hotel automatically disabled the card key after the first night, resulting in us having to go back to the front desk to get it reactivated. In addition, our room was not made up or refreshed for the 2nd night despite the fact the other rooms in our section were refreshed. Reservations: 0 stars. Group reservations are horrible. Difficult to get responses and one of the couples in our group was left with no room the 2nd night and were forced to scramble to find a place to stay. The person handling the group gave an apology but nothing else. Convenience: 5 stars; easy walk up to Sight & Sound Theater without having to move your car. Overall: all things considered, I would rate this experience 3 stars. If you just want to eat here, it's a good value but other restaurants in the area might be a better choice. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale than your average diner--everything was impeccably clean, and the ambiance was very pleasant. My friends both opted for the "All You Can Eat Buffet," which I understand is what this place is famous for (especially on weekends!). Their plates were packed, and the fact that they both went back for seconds speaks for itself--they loved it. I went with the Norway Benedict, and I was honestly blown away. It featured two perfectly poached eggs and smoked salmon on English muffins with a very generous serving of Hollandaise sauce, accompanied by a side of home-fried potatoes. The presentation was beautiful, the taste was excellent, and I truly can't think of a single thing that would have improved the dish. Service Highlights: * Attentive Staff: Our server was great--present when we needed drink refills but never intrusive. * Efficiency: They were quick to clear empty plates rather than letting them sit on the table, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
