    Lines to get in
    David H.

We used to frequent this all you can eat haven as far back as 2015, until we got Lin Buffet in our own neck of wood, sparing us from having to drive 45+ minutes. That being said, we still make sure we come empty-stomached whenever we come to Lancaster to shop so we can include this in our itinerary. The décor is a bit dated in style but I can imagine it's glory days. There are a few things I like very much about Dragon Buffet compared to other Asian buffets in the area: - You pay up front at the counter. Like all AYCEs in Las Vegas. - Saturday lunch is at weekday lunch price - There are a lot more seafood offerings - Drinks are included: fountain drinks, coffee and tea - Best value over all Come early, like shortly after the restaurant opens at 11 am. As mentioned before, this place is huge so it take a while to fill it up. But once it does, line forms and never goes away. From our experience, there was lines even during odd hours like 3 pm (Saturday). Unless schedule doesn't work out or you absolutely want king crab legs, come for lunch instead of dinner. You get only 5-6 replacements (not in addition) of their lunch offerings for higher caliper dishes but pay $6 more. As far as I'm concerned, my stomach already cannot accommodate all the lunch dishes I wanted to eat. Also, bring cash for tips. The front counter, where you pay to get in, does not offer options to include tips.

Visited on a Friday evening and liked that it was seat yourself. There was a very large selection of food. Some items were a bit cold but still tasty. My daughter loved the dumplings so we did take out then Sunday before we left the area. Arrived at 11am and food was super hot and tasty. Prices for take out were great! The atmosphere was nice, buffet sections cleaned well. Staff was friendly. Easy location to find and access.

Located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. Dunkin Donuts, Kung fu tea and Aldl supermarket are also found in the same plaza. Upon entrance, you pay first. Then go find to sit down yourself. Self serve drinks ( included) and silverware. Waitress came promptly to remove any used dishes. $18.99 per adult per dinner. Same dinner price any days of the week. Drinks included. Large selection of food. Sushi is buffet grade and acceptable. They have hibachi and little dim sum section including shiu mai , roast pork bun, taro bun and wrapped steamed sticky rice with sweet red bean filling. As an Asian who ate so much dim sum, the quality of course isn't up to standard. But it's part of variety that it offers. Overall food was fresh. Crab was plenty, no need to wait or fight. Tasted the crab but it's not fresh. Can skip. Drinks include fountain drink, coffee, hot tea, ice tea and 7-11 style cappuccino machine( include hot cocoa). Chair backs and tables and floor can be sticky sometimes. Ripped seats frequently seen. Decor isn't old. It's comfortable. Frequent wiping the buffet table by staff. They even switched out all the serving spoons at one time. No Wifi. Will return.

First post-Covid visit, and although price has gone up to $18.99 for dinner, it's still well worth it in my opinion. This buffet is massive. If you want to eat your face off, with Asian & American food & dessert this is the place to do it. It's also $5.99 per pound for take out boxes. They have literally everything Chinese & a full sushi bar. We went early just before 5pm on a Saturday in December & everything was hot & fresh and being replenished quickly. The sushi is being fresh made & hibachi grill fresh makes stir fry's etc. They also have regular American comfort foods & foods kids like. They offer a big soda, iced tea, lemonade, milk, coffee selection & your refillable drink is included in the price. After 5pm on weekends there is always a line to get in. I sampled lots of stuff & was full. In addition to Asian desserts they have Hershey's ice cream cups in 5 flavors. Sure, a regular Chinese or Japanese restaurant will be freshest, but this is a pretty great buffet. I paid $23 for a sushi platter at Wegman's & ate that much sushi here, plus everything else for 18.99. You pay upon entry & can add tip for those who clean up your plates, cook etc. They have lots of seating, booths & tables. The restaurant is located in the shopping plaza that a long time ago used to be Kmart on the Fruitville Pike. The parking lot is shared with the other other businesses in the plaza so it can get full but it's usually pretty easy to find a spot. We would definitely return.

I love hibachi buffet. It's my second favorite buffet to eat at! The food is very flavorful. Drinks are included (Self serve). Overall rating 8/10. Some days the food can be bland. Family friendly. They clean up your plates pretty quickly. Service overall is good. I recommend eating here and I will be returning!

They shuttle you in like the cattle in nearby fields, lines in the front followed by more lines to get seated, felt like I was going to be in escorted to the grill to be prepped for consumption. Everything was salty, tough to chew, canned style vegetables (more salt). I should have known better what to expect with a buffet style meal but had high hopes the quality of food would be better, reminds you of school lunch / cafeteria crap. Not worth the price. The gift shop was massive and had lots of "gifts" or items to buy for yourself. Don't waster your time coming here for lunch, go somewhere else that is local and better quality of food. Also the waitress was picking her teeth and digging in her mouth in between clearing off used plates/cups from tables. The soft serve icecream machine was the best part.

I need to take a moment to emphasize the customer service, which far exceeds nearly anything I've encountered elsewhere. My hands shake and this was seen while at the hot food area (eggs/ham). The gentleman behind the bar, offered to hold my dish, scoop my food and bring the food tray to my table. Our waitress, spoke to us as if we were friends and her smile, seemed genuine. The breakfast offerings, unfortunately, were a let down. Eggs were lukewarm, scrambled hard, boiled ham, flavorless, pancakes, spongy discs, homefries, potatoes from a can (noticeable corners were cut in many food items), continuing... mini sticky buns, crisp, hard, fruit - lacked variety, baked oatmeal, toothsome, dry, unremarkable. I plan on coming back for lunch - Wednesday, for your chicken potpie; it's so good and to be treated like family.

We were in the area to inquire about building something for our home at a nearby business and the business owner recommended we come here for lunch-and we were glad because it's our family's new favorite! We love it so much we came back and ate here a second time. The first time we came I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was probably one of the best meatloafs I've ever had: tender and beefy. My son had the chicken and cheddar quesadilla with waffle fries which he loved. The second time we came my son and I hit Philly cheesesteak quesadillas and my husband got a club sandwich. Fast friendly service and the definition of comfort food. Come get some!

We enjoyed wonderfully tasty meals with friendly people in front of and behind the counters. The restaurant was clean, and -- well, there's really almost nothing to complain about. The focus is always on the food, of course. This GC buffet is big; no gripes about not enough choices. And our choices were delicious. Let's start with the veggies: mashed potatoes with hot gravy, broccoli and cauliflower with hot cheese sauce (the only way!), turnip greens, yummy cabbage, baked beans, green beans ... we ate 'em all. The fried chicken was crispy and hot (lots of breasts, our favs), the steaks cooked and sliced in front of us (not especially chewy either), the very agreeable bourbon chicken. And we haven't mentioned the salad bar with lots of fresh lettuce and toppings. The dessert bar also had lots of variety, although nothing other than chocolate everything is necessary for us. Our waiter was quick to refill glasses and clear dishes, and he had a nice sense of humor. He earned his tips. And the other waiters we observed appeared to be in good spirits as well. The dinner price was $17.59 for seniors, which seems a good price given how costly it has become to go out for a meal these days.
