I was really looking forward to this place, especially since the Airbnb host recommended it to me the first night visiting PA. I deducted the first star since the food selection is limited, especially for people with dietary restrictions. I really did not get to do the buffet since I have a shellfish, seafood, pork, dairy allergy. I deducted the second star since I ordered the sirloin steak meal expecting to receive a steak. I was thrown off to receive a hamburger instead; when I asked the waitress, I was informed that this restaurant does not serve steak. The third star was deducted since the waffle my grandma got was mushy and soggy. Otherwise, the staff was a helpful and polite bunch of people. Overall, the staff made the experience worthwhile; otherwise, I realistically would not recommend this place, nor would my family.

Family Easter event! Such a nice selection of hot dishes! I tried two different fish dishes. Hot fresh and delicious. Corn fritter was actually nice. Everyone said it was special. I started with a spinach salad. It was great. Love the staff. At Christmas they had WATERGATE SALAD, it was also a bit hit! Lots of seating and parking

I really wanted to like this place as there's a real dearth of smorgasbords open on Sundays given that Miller's was closed for renovations (and is one of the few open on Sundays) I should have figured it would be an interesting experience when I walked in and got the old vibe out of the gate. The decor was old, the furniture was old, the servers were old and the handful of customers in the 3/4 empty place in the middle of lunch were old. Even the food was old in that everything was either overcooked, dry or felt unfresh. Even the salad bar had wilted lettuce. The pot roast was barely edible, the fried chicken was dry beyond measure and even a piece of bacon was as tough as shoe leather. A lot of the food also felt like it came from a can and oddly almost everything was bland. Someone else here compared it to prison and hospital food and I'd say it is very close to the truth. The dessert bar was also just mediocre though the ice cream machine was not bad. The pies though looked really tepid and didn't motivate me to try any of it. I did give this two stars for the friendly servers who really did try to make it a pleasant experience. Too bad the food was simply terrible.

We opted for Yoders buffer when deep in PA. Why find a Golden Coral when Yoders has this huge Pharmacy/Grocery Store/ Event venue / Buffet. Mac n cheese, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, fried chicken, salad bar, , two soup options, some frilled way too fishy fish, sofas, and above all Homemade Ice cream in the back - desert bar has no host so you have to fond the waitress. Worth the effort. Butter pecan is a winner as was some other unknown mix. People are FRIENDLY and working diligently in this massive space. It was nice to feel the retro 80s in here and have some space between us and other patrons. If simple and relaxed are your craving its here.

I'm sorry but this is my first and last time at Yoder's restaurant. The food was severely under seasoned and tasted very processed. Not a very large selection of options for dinner. The only redeeming quality was our waitress Kristina who was very sweet. The ambiance is not worth noting honestly, just in desperate need of an upgrade. Bill totaled to $67 for two people...save your money and time.

Cute setting and pretty spacious. Very nice servers! Unfortunately the grill cooks seemed to be not attentive or friendly. The food was cold, and all the cakes were dry I had one pie and that was all I needed.... (Your grandma would pass away eating it and grandpa would ask for the recipe so he can never have it again) Only thing we found good were the Hamballs, Ribs and Ice cream. Pretty disappointing for $50. Don't waste your time.

The aroma of sizzling meats and savory delights danced through the air like a minstrel's song upon a spring breeze. Golden crab rangoon, tender meats, steaming rice, and dishes beyond count stretched before me like the treasure halls of a mighty king. Each bite was a triumph. The food was prepared with such care that one could believe the royal chefs themselves had descended from their castle kitchens to labor in this establishment. The staff moved with the grace and swiftness of loyal knights, ever attentive and kind. Truly, for a moment, I believed I had discovered paradise upon this mortal realm. Alas, every grand tale bears its dragon. When nature called, I journeyed into the restroom expecting only a brief respite. Instead, I stumbled upon a scene fit for the darkest chapters of medieval history. It was as though a great siege had taken place within those walls. The battlefield lay scattered with unspeakable horrors--pee and poop strewn across the land as if rival kingdoms had waged war and abandoned all honor. I stood frozen, a lone knight gazing upon the ruins of civilization itself. The feast had been worthy of legends, yet the restroom was a tragedy that would make bards weep and scribes record with heavy hearts. Dragon Hibachi and Buffet serves food fit for royalty, but the kingdom must reclaim and restore its lavatories if it wishes to remain a true castle of dining.

The breakfast offerings, unfortunately, were a let down.
