Charlene helped my dad directly with his health issues, and was extremely attentive to his needs, while also looking for issues that not everyone else was paying attention to. She helped both my mom and I navigate the complex and rigorous Insurance items, online portal items, appointments, and rehab schedules, which we could not have kept up with adequately alone, without her professional advice. She attended Dr.'s appointments, online appointments, rehab, and just gave us general information/advice about my Dad's status. She kept me updated with his condition constantly & honestly, even if the news wasn't always good news, so we could get in front of critical issues or be prepared for his declining health. Charlene's nursing skills helped my dad through all the critical illness stages, until the end of his life. My Dad truly respected Charlene and appreciated her attentiveness to his needs. He was always happy to see her. I am grateful to them for their care for my Dad, and the professional advice given to me and my family, until my father's passing.

There is a comfort knowing that my dad is being cared for so thoroughly, professionally and with a sense of humor that always makes my dad smile. Being a nurse myself I can say without hesitation that Chris and Charlene are two incredibly competent nurses that go above and beyond when caring for their clients. Watching them care for my dad has given me such comfort and I truly feel like a weight has been taken off of my shoulders. I do not know how to manage everything on my own (even being a nurse) and now feel supported in a way that allows me to just be my dad's daughter. I was waiting with my husband in his room and the room was filthy. Trash on the floor, dirty bed…read morewith old bandages stuck to it and the wheels had all kinds of dirt stuck to all 4 wheels, there were stains on the bed sheets, the sink needed a good cleaning. I can't wait to get home to take a shower. I used several alcohol wipes to clean the chair I was sitting in and the table with wheels, which also had dirt and dust all over it. I am sure there were tons of germs in the room. I can't be the only one that noticed these things. People come to the emergency with all kinds of illnesses and diseases. I saw a woman with 3 kids in the waiting room with some kind of respiratory illness that seemed to be contagious as all of them were sick, I am glad we got a room before that family came in, otherwise my husband and myself might have caught what they have. they should have been taken to a room when they arrived so they could not spread what they had. This is the closest ER to our house. If there is a next time we will go the Ochsner.

He never addressed this with me again, nor the issues I complained about. Instead of helping me find a new GP when Dr Crawford unceremoniously left his position without offering me refills of my life-saving medicine, the secretary Desma said "Well, you missed an appointment, that's why he left, you gonna have to wait till August". I promptly called someone else not named Desma & they got me an appointment the very next day with a NP. Not that this helped-- The LCMC affiliated clinic REFUSED to see my supplemental insurance while demanding a copay to be seen. Found 2 doctors- WHO SPECIALIZE IN MY ISSUE- in Ochsner's network with availability this month. LCMC is a farce and you evidently need only have a room temp IQ to work here.

I had a huge panel of tests to take that required an overnight fast for 10 hours. I had also been…read moresent home with some DIY tests that I was asked to bring with and turn in to the lab upon arrival. (stool test-ew!!) While I knew the lab was across the street from Main Campus, I did make one wrong turn before I found where I was supposed to go. They could really use numbers on the buildings to help navigate people. There was only a half dozen people in the waiting area in a huge space that could easily hold hundreds. I checked in at the main desk with two friendly, kind and communicative women. All of my check ins with receptionists have all been positive, and informative/helpful. I completed my urinalysis collection on site and waited to be called. I turned in all my DIY tests and sat to have my blood drawn. I verified my information about a hundred times, but it also helped distract me from the needle. No one likes needles, really. I had 5 vials taken and when she was wrapping up my arm she chose a teal tape to match my shirt. On the previous Monday, the phlebotomist picked pink to also match my shirt. It's the little things that go a long way to make us feel human, rather than a number. Again, I was in and out in no time and felt that I was on the right path to taking care of my own health.

Their efforts were commendable so much so that once I finished my first round of PT, I decided to give them a chance and after 3 weeks they have completely restored my trust in their professionalism, courtesy compassion and expertise. It is a large facility but the therapist and support team are attentive and considerate. The receptionist Madelyn is so very kind and pleasant, Craig is very courteous, observant, and professional. And Henry the PT working with me, is knowledgeable, kind, hardworking and is great to work with. Stacy, Ramiro, Tiffany, and Camelia are all kind and pleasant. These are the ones who have worked with me. The facility may be very large but they truly give great care to all patients. I thought it only fair to share this good report given I shared apparently a one off occurrence. I wish Kenner Orthopedic all the best and if you are looking for a PT facility with good customer service and patient care give them a try.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the equipment was in excellent condition. They took their time explaining the different exercises and machinery, and ramped up the level of difficulty at the appropriate intervals. The home exercises that they showed me helped a lot and they always answered my questions with an intelligent and well-explained response. If you live in the vicinity and need some rehabilitation from an injury or recent surgery, I recommend giving this place a shot.

I know the people that call your name don't care what your name is, but I guess I just think they should fake it a little better. I blame Ochsner itself, because the people who work there apparently don't consider it part of their job to call people the right names. It makes it clear that you're not trustworthy when you start out our interaction by calling me the wrong name when my preferred name is right there on the form. And, so, maybe that's good, knowing right off the bat that you aren't to be trusted or believed. If that was your goal, mission accomplished. Ochsner, please train your employees properly.
