We came to Wolf after having dinner next door, we wanted to check the place out and have some drinks. We were lucky enough to be seated right by the faux fire place. We placed an order for a round of drinks. We ordered the sheep's clothing and big bad wolf. The drinks came out in a beautiful presentation and couldn't wait to try them. Unfortunately the sheep's clothing was not good. I was hoping it would be more refreshing and spicy and it just tasted like it was full of a mixer and had so much cotton candy on the edge you had to pull it off to drink it. Again, beautiful presentation but taste fell flat. The big bad wolf was a little sweet but there was no complaints on that one other than the wolf in there leaving your lips a little black. Not the most convenient. My husband ordered the huff and puff after and he enjoyed that one a lot better. I decided to give it another go and ordered an espresso martini which tasted a lot better. It comes with a donut hole and some chocolate which added to the great presentation. The donut hole seemed to be a little stale but I took it as being more for presentation than to eat it. Since we just came for dinner, we were super hungry but decided to order the caviar. It was mostly enjoyable other than the chips tasting greasy. These are supposed to be hand cut chips which we loved, but there was a greasy taste left in your mouth. Overall the ambiance was a great experience and at least half the drinks were good. I would like to come back another time to get the food a try. Overall if you are looking for a fun place to go, this is a good spot for the ambiance. Bonus! The perfect spot for a a date night or girls' night out. Came here before with my husband but my last visit was with four girlfriends to celebrate a birthday, and we were all blown away by how gorgeous Wolf is. What we ordered: * Signature Wolf Bread - Can bread be the star of the meal? Because this was! It was the unanimous table favorite. * Wagyu Ragù - Another favorite! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and we wished we saved some bread to sop up some of the sauce with it. * 16 oz Ribeye - We appreciated that the kitchen sliced it for sharing, but we all agreed it could've used more seasoning. I'm not a Vanderpump fan and was expecting this to be overpriced for what you get even for South Lake Tahoe Casino Hotel standards. I was pleasantly surprised. The decor/ambiance is excellent albeit maybe a little over-the-top but on the ground floor on the corner of a busy street it lacks any kind of special view. The drinks and food surprised me, they were actually pretty decent! Nothing absolutely incredible but for example the creamy vegetable risotto was some of the best risotto I've ever had. Pasta dish was overcooked (but what us Americans are used to.) Like most any restaurant, your mileage may vary depending on what specific menu items you choose. Service was excellent and the food prices are very reasonable FOR SOUTH LAKE TAHOE CASINO HOTEL DINING (many entrees under $30 -- cocktails are overpriced in general, low-mid $20's which is typical for high-end casino hotel craft cocktails.) This is a strong/high 4 stars. 5 stars if I let the designer decor, celebrity branding, or vacation/special occasion splurge mentality bias my judgment on the cuisine level and/or profit center cocktail prices. read more

My sister and I enjoyed our dinner at Wolf. It was our first experience and it exceeded our expectations. The interior decorations put you in a fine-dining, forest atmosphere. Trying out the new Happy hour... 3-5pm at the bar or the patio. Our favorites are on the reduced price menu...so we decided to check it out. Had a marvelous bartender take care of us. We had a wonderful time at Wolf. We came here on our first night staying at the hotel and loved it so much that we came back again for our New Year's Eve dinner. The ambiance here is unmatched. The space is beautiful, the decor is stunning, and the music really adds to the experience. It worked perfectly both as a dinner spot for two and would also be great for a group. The food was wonderful, the cocktails were delicious, and we had great service during both visits. The staff was attentive and helped make the experience even better. Everything we had was great overall. The signature wolf bread is absolutely amazing and dangerously addicting, I'm pretty sure we finished the entire thing. The garden greens salad was simple but surprisingly enjoyable. The prime rib sliders were the perfect appetizer portion and great quality. The caviar and chips were good, although not particularly memorable compared to everything else. The seabass was excellent as well. The bread had a soft interior but a slightly dry crust, and the butter could use more salt. Dessert was disappointing. The filet mignon was OK not bad but it was drenched in a barbecue type sauce, I expected some kind of wine sauce or gravy type sauce or brandy type sauce and no it was more of an A1 sauce all over the potatoes and steak. The price wasn't high compared to other fine dining restraunts but I wouldn't go here again. It could be nice if you wanted to sit at the bar for drinks and maybe bread but i wouldn't even go back if i was given a gift card because all the food was mid. But instead the hostess took us to the server station in the back of the restaurant, even though there was 5 wide open seats at the bar. I asked why we were seated here and if we could get a seat at the bar and their response was "sorry there are no seats available" Katarina who was very nice told us, "I know this isn't where you want to be but I'm super fun and can still make it a great time" we saw her for a grand total of 3 minutes. We had an amazing time at Wolf by Vanderpump at Caesars Republic in Lake Tahoe. We made reservations well in advance on OpenTable, and upon checking in, we were seated right away at a grand table in the center of the restaurant. The ambiance is stunning. Dim lighting, beautiful accents, and elegant decor, including gorgeous faux fur chairs. I loved that the furniture and seating felt intentionally varied. For example, our table looked completely different from another six-person table nearby. There's a great mix of traditional tables, lounge seating with side tables, and a beautiful bar with plenty of seating, which adds to the overall vibe. Service was excellent, and the cocktail selection was fantastic. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The bread is to die for, and the cheese balls were a standout as well. I had the seabass, which was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth, while my husband ordered the ribeye and thought it was outstanding. Came to Wolf after dinner at a nearby restaurant, my goal was to check out what their bar and drinks menu have to offer, and I would say that Wolf impressed me big time! This place is beautiful inside out, from the entrance, host station, to the bar, and dining tables, they did a really amazing job on furnitures and decoration. From the wolf statues and arts, to the dim light atmosphere with dark aesthetic vibe, I really enjoyed it! Service was great, the host and multiple bartenders were taking good care of my party at the bar section. As a Vodka-based cocktail girlie I was so happy to be able to tried multiples drinks during my visit: Vamderpump Mules, Sheep's Clothing, Pumped Up Kicks, Pumptini and Happy Husky (shot). Each of them was unique and carefully crafted in their own ways. But if I have to pick and make a recommendation, I would say go with Pumped Up Kicks if you prefer a stronger and bitter cocktail, but this one came with a complex layers of flavors, the longer you take your time to sip through it, the sweetter it get. Another one Sheep's Clothing, in contrast with Pumped Up Kicks, this one is sweet, refreshing, and come with cotton candy around the glass, the cocktail itself does have a little hint of spiciness in it due to the Jalapeno Vodka base but it was delicious. I think I will set a mini goal for myself to comeback to Wolf to try all of their vodka-based cocktail on the menu. So next time when I'm at Tahoe, I will definitely be seen at Wolf's exploring new drinks, and maybe try out their foods as well. read more

We came to Wolf during a South Lake ski trip with a reservation for a group of 6 and got seated at a beautiful, grand table in the middle of the restaurant. The ambiance here is amazing- think Romantasy/Game of Thrones vibes. Service was prompt and helpful, the food was delicious, and we had a fantastic time. 5 stars- would 100% come back. Some items my side of the table tried: - signature bread: I would order 2 of these next time. Super soft bread with delicious honey butter - crispy cauliflower: just okay - goat cheese bites: I LOVED these. Definitely get them. The sauce went perfectly with them - double smashburger: my friends had this and raved about it - roast chicken: my friend had this and liked it - New York strip: I split the strip with my boyfriend and I really liked it. Perfect cook. My boyfriend thought the steak was a bit bland and would have preferred the burger. - smores pizookie: this was perfect for sharing with a group where everyone just wants a bite or two. Wolf by Vanderpump at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe - American Near Me - Stateline, Nevada

Wolf is a great addition to the Lake Tahoe dining scene. I am personally not someone who watches the Vanderpump series, but I enjoyed my experience here. The vibe and ambiance are awesome. The drinks are all really well done. My favorite is The Blood Orange Old Fashioned. They're all pretty much around $20 as well so be aware of that. Food wise I had the Filet Mingon both times I came. It was prepared differently each time, but was excellent both times. It comes with sides which is nice and the price was reasonable. The first time it came with a red wine sauce, potatoes gratin, and bacon wrapped asparagus. Loved this preparation. The most recent time was fries, vegetables, and a peppercorn sauce. Also very good. Service has been great each time I've been here. Definitely make a reservation in advance as this place is very popular. read more
