    Outdoor seating and view
    Jenny A.

What a great eclectic restaurant at the lake with a phenomenal view. We were greeted promptly in the grass area and offered the option for indoor or outdoor seating, we opted for indoor. The menu has quite the variety of offering from Mexican food classics to burgers. I opted for the burrata because I was curious about the citrus take and the single beef tamale, opted for beef rather than chicken since chicken was in a green sauce. My husband chose the tacos. The food did take a while to be served but it's a holiday weekend and we were patient. The service was great and the decor was good to take the time to view, the live plants are a great touch. The burrata ended up being a miss. It was sour. I let the server know, she handled it appropriately and the manager/owner promptly came over to offer a different salad. I explained the issue and they were very surprised. They brought me a fresh one and it was on point. I was very happy with the way they handled the situation and I thoroughly enjoyed the burrata and fresh fruits. The tamale was PHENOMENAL. The tacos, the al pastor was some of the best my husband has had and he's quite the taco connoisseur. We will definitely be back to enjoy this restaurant.

The warm welcome and personal escort to our table by the friendly manager was a pleasant surprise at this busy, popular spot next the lake. With several large outdoor tables, groups are easily accommodated. The road noise was not bad and the beautiful Lake Tahoe view easily made up for it. Our fantastic server got us going right away and drinks were served quickly. After considering several tempting options, I chose the Beer Cheese Nachos. Although I should have picked the grilled chicken, as the shredded chicken adobo was very moist (normally good, except for keeping tortilla chips crisp) the flavors were great and this generous appetizer made a great lunch choice. The drink selection was extensive, as expected, and it was nice to see some mocktails and no/low % beer for the designated drivers. Looking forward to the next visit!

A nice pretty lake view for lunch outing. Location a lovely outdoor setting for music listening and small parking lot for parking. Outside seating can get chilly cold in the evening with a mini Lateran you barely feel. Blanket accommodation if needed was a plus. Food wise fajitas were pretty bland and the chicken was a bit dried. The corn tortillas were hard by the time you bit into it. Simple steak bowl meat was tough to chew. The service was great.

Every time we drive by this place it is packed! It's a cute little Mexican fusion spot on the hwy and the vibe is where it's at. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and the food came out quickly. I'd say overall the food was ok. It gave us a quick fix in between soccer games, but based on the stars and reviews I'd say their signature dishes are probably breakfast. Everything was good, I'd say the food could have been a bit hotter and done a little better though. The beer cheese was very similar to the canned/ jarred ballpark cheese. I was hoping it would be a homemade tasting item.

Son's fajitas- he really liked them!

Went here the other night to celebrate Father's Day. While I selected "4," I'd rate them more of "3.5" ... Pros: super friendly service. The views, right across the street from the lake- can't go wrong with that! There's a private parking lot, and they have live music! Cons: some food we ordered was very good (steak fajitas, tres leches cake), some was ok (steak enchiladas), and some was disappointing (chips with salsa and guacamole)). You can tell they made fresh tortillas for the fajitas, but their chips were store bought and we were given the bottom of the barrel (lots of small partial pieces), and not nearly enough for the salsa and guacamole... some of the plating was off putting too. Slopped on, they definitely could have done a better job! And while we didn't order it, they have a margarita tower that looked fun (and quite popular), guess it depends on what you want to go there for!

Love this place for their food and ambiance. Been here 3x, once for lunch and 2x for brunch. Love their outdoor space. I always go with my toddler and it's a safe area to allow him to explore on his own while I enjoy a meal. They cater to children with kids menus, crayons, and side walk chalk. I had the best tamal here. Stuffed generously with shredded chicken and served with a tomatillo salsa. It was so flavorful and moist. I also had a side of plátanos maduros. It was the first time my 16 month old had these flavors and he loved it. The 2x I came for brunch, I got the same things because I loved them so much - HORCHATA FRENCH TOAST. I get it with a side bacon (their bacon is so good too), they give you a generous portion of it and it's not salty. I wash it down with a hot CAFÉ DE OLLA. It's made with the perfect balance of cinnamon and sweetness. During Sunday brunch they have a live singer which adds to the ambiance. I end up spending more time than I should here only because the atmosphere is so great. Beautiful weather, great music, and casual vibe. Service can be spotty depending when you go. They are super busy during brunch and I notice that is when service can suffer, but it hasn't been horrible enough for me to not want to go back.

We'd had a long day driving into South Lake Tahoe. A flat tire, a 3 hour wait for a tow, finally arriving at our hotel around 7 pm. Elements is associated with the Hotel Azure where we were staying and they offer 15% off to guests. We were tired, hungry, no car so we had to walk wherever we wanted to get dinner. We just wanted something to eat. So we came to Elements. It was actually quite nice. We split the Nachos, had a beer and a glass of cabernet. The nachos were quite good and the beer and wine were decent. This is also a nice spot to watch the sunset over Lake Tahoe. It finished our day on an up note.

YUM. the food here is delicious (and plated nicely). We tried the tacos (multiple different combos), a rice bowl, and chips and queso. All were great! We stopped by on a Tuesday night and they had live music. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. Indoor did not seem to have AC but the breeze outside was perfect. There are beautiful lake views and the ambiance is just so nice. We were seated quickly and the servers were very attentive. Everything we ordered was accurate and the timing of it all was great. Highly recommend this place for a sunset dinner!

    Horchata Latte- an absolute must
    Nikol P.

The horchata latte was the perfect start to my morning while overlooking Lake Tahoe. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying my breakfast of chicken tamales with an over-medium egg and crispy tater tots. The tamales were a little dry and overcooked for my personal taste, but everything else was absolutely delicious. I haven't been here for dinner yet, but the nighttime ambiance and live music alone make it worth visiting regardless.

Friendly service. Great vibe with live music and outdoor seating. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. Fish tacos lacked flavor, rice and beans were super spicy, shrimp tacos had a sauce that my family didn't like. Even the kid's chicken fingers were so crispy my kids struggled to bite into them. Wanted to like this place more...

Just ate at Elements for the first time and had an all around incredible experience! We ate outside (and had our dogs with us!) and the staff was super friendly and brought the pups a water bowl and treats right away. Our coffees and breakfast were SO good and the service was super fast. I also felt like the prices were reasonable considering you had a view of the lake and mountains across the way! We will definitely be back!

I have been a frequent guest at Elements Eatery & Bar, and I always leave feeling happy and satisfied. We visited recently for an early breakfast after three days of rainy weather. My parents really wanted to sit outside in the sun, and the staff member who was watering the plants stopped watering in that area so the benches and grass stayed dry for them. It was a small gesture that meant a lot to us. The recent remodel looks fantastic - both inside and out - and it is great to see this business growing. The service is consistently fast, the music creates a perfect atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly friendly. If you're looking for a recommendation, the breakfast burrito is always top-tier. This remains a must-visit on my list every time I'm in South Lake Tahoe.

We stopped by Elements Eatery during vacation. The space is very open with both indoor and outdoor seating, super spacious and kid-friendly. We chose to sit outside to enjoy some sunshine, which was nice. Waters came out right away. I ordered the Fruitception Sour and it was really delicious, definitely a highlight. We started with the taquitos. They were nice and crunchy, but felt like they were missing something. I'd love to see pickled onions added, and personally I prefer the lettuce on top instead of underneath. The hot sauce caddy came out after we had already started, but the green hot sauce was perfect with them. We ordered two taco plates with one mole and one shrimp taco each, both with rice and beans. The mole sauce was good, but the chicken itself was a little dry. Unfortunately, my shrimp taco got soggy and the tortilla didn't hold up well. On top of that, the shrimp didn't seem cooked through, and I get mouth irritation with raw or undercooked shrimp (iykyk), so I couldn't really eat it. The rice was good, but the beans were a bit on the spicy side, which meant my son couldn't have any. Overall, there were some really good elements here... great space, kid-friendly setup, and solid drinks, but a few execution issues with the food held it back for me.

He mentioned they had an outdoor firepit and thought I would like it. When we were deciding on dinner, I said we should finally check it out. We walked in and sat ourselves at a high top. It's a combo of go up to the cash register and order plus a server will come and help you out while they deliver the food. Overall food wise, I thought everything was fine. The dip was cheesy. The peppers a little too salty. The salad fulfilled that green craving tho I found the dressing and cheese a lil too heavy handed. And the soup was the comfort I needed on a cold day. I found the fish to be a little heavier in batter than I prefer, but I like most things very lightly battered. The cocktail I got was nice. Balanced and refreshing. Their sangria was on tap, so they just filled up the glass. I did enjoy going outside after we were done eating to hang out around the firepit. Ran into another party of people and we chatted for a bit. We actually brought our drinks outside to enjoy as It was quite chilly that evening. Food was fine. Cocktails were nice. Definitely would go back for the outdoor firepit. REVIEW #3970

We placed an order for a round of drinks. We ordered the sheep's clothing and big bad wolf. The drinks came out in a beautiful presentation and couldn't wait to try them. Unfortunately the sheep's clothing was not good. I was hoping it would be more refreshing and spicy and it just tasted like it was full of a mixer and had so much cotton candy on the edge you had to pull it off to drink it. Again, beautiful presentation but taste fell flat. The big bad wolf was a little sweet but there was no complaints on that one other than the wolf in there leaving your lips a little black. Not the most convenient. My husband ordered the huff and puff after and he enjoyed that one a lot better. I decided to give it another go and ordered an espresso martini which tasted a lot better. It comes with a donut hole and some chocolate which added to the great presentation. The donut hole seemed to be a little stale but I took it as being more for presentation than to eat it. Since we just came for dinner, we were super hungry but decided to order the caviar. It was mostly enjoyable other than the chips tasting greasy. These are supposed to be hand cut chips which we loved, but there was a greasy taste left in your mouth. Overall the ambiance was a great experience and at least half the drinks were good. I would like to come back another time to get the food a try. Overall if you are looking for a fun place to go, this is a good spot for the ambiance. Bonus! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and we wished we saved some bread to sop up some of the sauce with it. * 16 oz Ribeye - We appreciated that the kitchen sliced it for sharing, but we all agreed it could've used more seasoning. The vegetables were a bit bland as well, which was a bummer since it was the priciest dish. * Strawberry Rose Brûlée Tart -good but missing something. Still good for sharing. Loved all cocktails we got, they were more impressive than the food. They were beautiful, perfectly on theme for a girls' night, and strong AF. So yup we'll definitely be back.

The bartender (I didn't catch her name, but I wish I did) was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and kind. She made us feel welcomed and made it as fun of an experience as possible by trying to play a Pitbull song for us, but someone else skipped it. She gave us the last of the Jell-O shots which we greatly appreciated. She also invited us to return the next day to play Bingo at 3pm, but we couldn't make it. There's a music system (like a jukebox) where you can pay for songs you'd like to listen to. Others have the option to skip your songs (even though you pay for them).
