On my way to NC, I was praying that I would have a mechanic who treated me like he would treat his daughter and I believe that Wes did that. I'm greatful to God for bringing me to this location and getting my car fixed. While it did take a week to get my car back, it was worth the wait and when I inquired about military discount to help me pay for the hefty bill I knew was coming, Wes didn't hesitate to do everything in his ability to give me the best pricing and even doing things for a massively reduced fee. I was told by Tesla that my 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance needed a battery pack replacement. Before committing to Tesla, I called this shop and spoke with someone I believe was named Max, who assured me they could do the job and had third-party battery options that would be cheaper than Tesla. Based on that information, I paid $400 out of pocket to tow my car from Raleigh to their shop. That's where the red flags started. * It took over two days just to get a diagnosis, and I had to repeatedly call for updates. * I was charged $243.13 for the diagnostic, despite the delays and lack of communication. * My advisor, Marissa, told me she was "looking for a battery," which alone took another full day. * When I finally received an estimate, I was shocked: $28,000 total, with $23,000 claimed just for the battery. For comparison, Tesla charges around $13,000 for the same battery replacement -- and I personally found a compatible battery online for $14,500, which still makes their quoted $23,000 battery price extremely inflated. When I asked for a detailed, itemized estimate (battery source, labor hours, cost breakdown), I never received one. They could never explain where the battery was coming from, how many labor hours were involved, or why the price was so high. I asked twice to speak with a manager. Messages were taken both times. No manager ever called or texted me back. Because no repair was done, I then had to pay another $500 to tow my car back to Raleigh, wasting $900 total in towing alone, plus the $243.13 diagnostic fee -- not counting time and stress. Between the lack of transparency, the exaggerated battery cost, the inflated estimate, and zero management follow-up, this experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I did a little research before and found out code 4 can mean a timing belt change needs to happen around 100k-105k miles and my honda had around 101k. When i got the printout of recommended services nothing was explained to me, or why certain things were needed. I asked about the timing belt and the person at the desk told me I have a timing chain. After leaving I did more research and called a couple other mechanics, and I do have a timing belt. and if it's not changed around 100k-105k thousand miles the belt can snap and destroy the engine! We called today to ask why they told me 1. I had a chain and 2. why none of the timing belt maintenance was added to my invoice. They couldn't really give me a straight answer and just said that they just printed out what the computer said. So if you have a honda go to somewhere that knows what the honda codes mean, and can explain to you what actually needs to be done.

I have gone to the one they have in Clemmons a few times for an oil change and stopped because they were overturning the bolts and eroded them away making it difficult to continue maintenance. That was several years ago and hadn't had that problem since at other servicers so I was hesitant to try this place. I pulled in and a man greeted me at my car and had me pull up behind another that was currently being worked on. Then politely guided me to the waiting area while I waited for it to be inspected. It was small but clean and even offered complimentary water and coffee. It just took a bit longer than I was expecting. At my old place, it may have only taken 15-30 minutes to get my car inspected but it was closer to 45 minutes to an hour here. They didn't try to sell our uncharged me on anything though which I appreciated.

And the salesman was very nice and helpful. I traded in my old car that went towards the purchase. I am glad I purchased a warranty because at the beginning of November 2024, my transmission gave out! My car was towed and brought in. However, I did have to wait over a week because the warranty required all documentation of any services provided on my car. I was also out of town so I couldn't this information. One of the guys (my apologies for not remembering his name) was able to obtain the information needed without me and sent in the warranty. They were able to start working on my car and I was given a loaner car. They had to rebuild my transmission and it took about 2 weeks as he stated. BTW, my warranty was about to expire. I was less than 200 miles from losing it! Overall both of my experiences, were very positive. The salesman did not pressure me into looking at other cars except the one I was looking at. And he was very patient with me. The Service department were very polite, friendly, and professional. I am not sure if my next car would be a Ford but I would come back here if I decide that.
