I love a good burger that includes mustard and onions...yes indeed my kind of burger. I devoured a cheeseburger and delicious crunchy tots. A very good burger for a great value here. The place is clean and simple. Plus, the owners are about the nicest, friendliest people who genuinely care about good food and personal service. Old school is the way to go, and they don't disappoint, especially in today's world of terrible service when you're anywhere other than high dollar (which is me most of the time....well all the time!). I have to admit that the only thing I've gotten from Paradise donuts are the apple fritters. Their large apple fritter is so good. I imagine their smaller apple fritter is just as good, but who wants a smaller apple fritter, which is actually pretty large by itself, when you can get a super large apple fritter? I think you know the answer to that one. If you want a gigantic and delicious apple fritter, you must stop by Paradise. read more

there's one thing i check with every donut spot before everything, how good the blueberry cake donut is. wolfey's has a very good one. it kinda yellow tint, which makes sense with the buttery taste. slightly crunchy edges. their sausage roll was good as well. i got the jalapeno & cheese (you can get it without jalapeno), super good. the dough is just as good, i can't tell if it's fried or baked. be sure to hit it with some mustard. to finish it off, i had the jelly-filled donut. i had the raspberry while they have 3-4 more to choose from, including bavarian cream. the people were nice from the moment i walked in. they also have a lot to choose from. read more

I can't count the number of times I've driven by this place. There have been times when I thought it was no longer open since the building and signboard are showing their age so much. The reviews and apparent popularity prompted me to give it a try though. It seems to be a place frequented by regulars, and the owners are nice and friendly. Interior is looking a bit old as well, but it's kept clean and orderly. Pretty good burgers overall. The prices certainly are nothing to gripe about: the 1/3-lb. burger, fries and drink combo set me back a mere $5.75 with tax. They've got a signboard with the main menu items and prices up above the counter in the back, and the various combo options are posted on the wall to the right as you walk up. For those not up for a burger, they have chicken fingers and the like, plus tater tots and onion rings if krinkle-cut fries aren't down your alley. Then there are the donuts, fritters, bear claws, etc. I didn't get to those, myself, but they certainly look good! I'll have to stop by again and pick some up sometime. Perhaps I will amend/update the review once I do. read more

I've been here a few times. The doughnuts taste pretty good.(My favorite is the jelly doughnut.) I really wish they would update the interior, though. Some of the building seemed structurally unsafe, and the menu needed serious updating. I did not appreciate that they didn't have a calorie count on their menu. I've driven by this place more than a few times going "Hamburgers at a donut shop?? whatever" but the other day I decided to give it a go. EXCELLENT old fashioned burger. Loved the atmosphere as well, has a very home feel to it. Regulars walking in and getting the usual. I've since been back and again another awesome experience. I have tried the onion rings and the fries, both were good I but liked the fries better. Going for the tater tots next time. Also, not sure on the donuts but an older couple came in today and got the cinnamon roll and WHOA, that's on the need to try list now too. Huge cinnamon roll, looked amazing. Don't be fooled, this is a great burger place. Tough choice between the fries and the onion rings, you won't be able to finish the fries. A great place to drop in for a burger and read one of the newspapers on the tables. I always see tables of regulars, almost like they have meetings there or something. Wolfey's does exactly what it says on the label: Cheap donuts for cheap. They taste good, there's a good variety and they keep the filled donuts empty so you can pick whatever filling you want. The sausage rolls were surprisingly good. Typically short wait times, even on saturday and sunday mornings make this a good place for donuts. I have not had the cheeseburgers yet but I'm planning on going back as a friend has told em that, again, it's on what it says on the label, cheap, cheesy, all-American burgers. read more
