Probably 3.5 stars. The food was hot and fresh, but it wasn't anything special. The meat was seasoned better than a fast food burger, but that is what it reminded me of. Used the drive threw because I was tired and wanted to get home. Family and friends told me about Arnold's so figured it was time to stop. Ordered a double cheese burger and fries. Swung by Arnold's as I started a road trip to western Oklahoma. It's still the best place I've found along I244 heading west out of town. This time I had a single meat burger. The meat was good. The veggies fresh. They make a burger you can enjoy without the condiments. Always have to splurge with a shake. This time a strawberry banana. It's smooth and tasty. I like this place. It's a self service hamburger restaurant. You can't get a burger cheaper at a fast food restaurant and these burgers are prepared after you order. I loved the thick slices of onion and tomatoes and the generous portion of lettuce. It was delicious. Fresh off the grill and still warm. The ladies taking the orders looked happy to be there. They greeted customers with big smiles. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is casual and restaurant is decorated with framed pictures of classic scenes and celebrities such as Elvis. They also used collections of lunch boxes and model cars to decorate. Happy accident! We were headed to Branson from OKC when Arnold's popped up as a possible lunch stop. It was SO good and even tho it was prime mid day lunch time and the line was very long. We go in ordered and got a seat and the food was right up and delicious! Can't wait to go back. If you're in the area stop in and don't forget to have some of their onion rings! Tables are thoroughly cleaned after each customer and the floor around is swept for crumbs and such. Kitschy decor with a '50s-'60s vibe. Overhyped. Stopped by on the way to Springfield after seeing a ton of billboard signs on the highway. I thought the historic setting on Tulsa Route 66 was cool, and inside the small restaurant, the Elvis music and old memorabilia were great. But that was the most average food I've eaten in a while. The onion rings were bready and the double cheeseburger was heavy and slightly nausea inducing. The root beer in a mug is just your average A&W in a pre-frozen mug. Yet it was the best out of all of it. All in all, everything was greasy and not really worth navigating 15 minutes back through construction to get back to I-44. read more

And the employees are always friendly and professional. The place has the 1950's / 1960's atmosphere with period music. A true classic on Highway 66! Arnold's is a Tulsa favorite... And celebrating 37 years! This place serves up some of the best burgers in town. The menu is simple and straightforward, no frills, and absolutely delicious! I almost always get the fantastic Double with double cheese. The fries are good (not great) but the onion rings are super tasty. Lunchtime can get rather busy, but the line moves quick (if you don't have time to sit for lunch, use the drive thru in the same parking lot). After Claud's sadly shut down, we've been on the hunt for Tulsa's next best Okie style burger. After visiting Arnold's for Grant's birthday, we think we might have found it! To be fair, Grant had already gone and held this opinion, but for me, it was incredibly affirming to get a delicious double patty burger with fried onions as well as tasty, salty, thin cut fries. They also had a wonderful chocolate shake, which a lot of burger spots around here don't offer. All in all? A great spot to visit and one that we will be doing so again soon! read more

I had just eaten so I didn't get the opportunity to try a burger. I went with a friend who loved their burger. I did however get the opportunity to get a shake. I was torn between strawberry and Oreo and the man helping me suggested mixing the two! It was the best decision I could've made. I've had them mixed at a fast food establishment before and was not a fan but THIS SHAKE was AMAZING! If you love both flavors I'd definitely try the combination of the two. My friend got an Oreo shake and wished they would've gotten the same one that I did. We got a small and as you see it's huge. So unless you're sharing I think a small is great it took everything in us to finish our individual smalls. The environment is cute and fun with great music. I've been hearing about Arnold's for awhile now and figured it was time to give it a try. Having never been there before, we started walking up to the building that actually turned out to be just the drive through. We ran into Frank Arnold, the founder, who kindly pointed us to the main restaurant, a block down in the strip center, next to the Autozone. I was truly pleased with the service and the food. The burger was juicy and delicious. The fries reminded me of McDonald's (in a good way!). We had the chocolate shake, and it hit the spot. 5 stars for Arnold's!
