After hearing about this place for years, we finally made the trek to check it out. We have a soft spot for mom and pop restaurants, especially cozy hole-in-the-wall spots like this one. The food did not disappoint. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy and a baked potato topped with real bacon, while I opted for the pork fritter. The crunch on the pork fritter was spot on and left me impressed. Service was quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Despite the small size of the restaurant, it was clean and cozy. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

If you're reading reviews looking for that down home hole in the wall you need to try keep eye balling my words and understand why you should come here. This is what I want for a greasy spoon, tiny, local, down to earth, awkwardly outdated spot for incredible food and amazing people. When I travel for work I love to find spots like this and I love that this is with a 5 minute drive of my house! Being a recent Tulsa transplant to Broken Arrow I was so happy to find this little spot. Here's why. 1.) Burgers. AMAZING BURGERS! Meat cooked on a flat top with bacon jalapenos and the rest of the goodies just speak to me on an omnivourous (I know that's not a real word) level! I get this amazing flavor and it just feels good to eat. I love that I can get tater tots, onion rings and fries here too! When I want to support local, have a throw back to another time classic meal this is where I want to come. There is just something about it! Seriously, get down here and have a burger and tots and enjoy a good time! Or if you like some breakfast they have that too!

It has been operating in BA for a long time.

A Good Old Fashion Burger and Fries ... served up at Broken Arrow's favorite drive-in on Main St. Tastee Treat has been around for a long time. It is a clean, friendly, family ran business in a small building. It's a popular place! Today it was especially busy, with diners siting in their cars, lawn chairs or the tables the restaurant has outside, enjoying the beautiful sunny day. No one was eating inside which is great. It keeps the owners and the diners safe. I appreciate the owner's efforts and their recent health score of 77! For my wife and me, it was a giant double cheese burger, a regular cheese burger, spicy curly fries and onion rings! The burgers were done right; lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, mustard and hold that mayo! A great lunch!

First time here! Burgers are outstanding! I mean they are so good just plain that is how amazing they are! The chicken sandwich is also very good. I think the onion rings are out of this world. You can sit indoors and outdoors! Love this! Also, love u can call your order in advance and pick up in drive thru! -my only advice, order the fries WELL done. If not they are kind of soggy and not very good. If done well done they are amazing yummy steak fries! Enjoy!

This is the definition of a classic burger joint! We ordered at the counter, and approximately 10 minutes later a waitress brought out a juicy burger and hot, crispy fries! The burger was really good - beefy, and generously topped with lettuce and tomatoes. The spicy curly fries were my favorite part of the meal, though! They aren't spicy at all, but seasoned very similarly to Arby's curly fries. Even though it's counter service, a waitress came to check on us a couple of times while we were eating and refilled our drinks. A+ service!

Everything on the menu is awesome, but the thing we mostly get is the Patty melt and fries. Service is great!

I think it is named after a local ranch so sorry if I butchered it. I asked what was on it... all I heard was grilled onions, jalapeños, and some sauce and I was all in!! The burger came on toast and is very similar to a patty melt if you like that style. Honestly it was a great burger. The wife and I shared some cheese and onion fries... I can't say enough about how delicious it was. My wife ended up getting the class burger which comes with cheese sauce to dip fries or your burger in....i wanted the cheese sauce on everything but I did my best to hold back. It takes a LOT of reading before you can figure out what you want. I understand wanting to highlight farms that the beef is sourced from, but it shouldn't be the most prominent thing in the menu. It's super confusing. Last, the truffle fries need reworked badly. I got fries with some truffle-esque condiment squeezed randomly on top. Fries needed to be tossed in the sauce while hot, so it was a soggy mess. 1/5, wouldn't recommend those.

They completely took over a 2 story area and made it something unique and interesting. There are essentially 2 restaurants in one here. During the day you get a menu from "The Bramble" which is breakfast and brunch type fair and at 3pm it switches to Shaky Jake's, which had more burgers, apps, wings etc. There's also a circle shaped full service bar in the middle of the building and seats all around. It already is a creative way to get folks in the door. The food though, always excellent!! I've yet to have had anything bad here, but would recommend the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, any flavor of hot wing and the Philly burger. Seeing a trend here?

However, overall everything was good. I definitely wanna try other things on the menu. I appreciate they have daily specials. I tried the two dollar shrimp tacos and the shrimp was really good. Overall this is a really great place that I will go back to. It used to be a church and you can tell the space is big and beautiful and clean in the bathrooms were also nice.

The hostess (she didn't say her name) had the personality of a rock. If you're a business owner, you want the host/hostess to be the gleaming face of your establishment. This hostess had no smile, no energy, and no desire to be a welcoming person. Eyore has a better personality. Now, on the flip side, Bella (our server) was a rock star. She was on top of drink refills without asking, checked on us numerous times and had an excellent personality and demeanor. Again, the food was top notch, but you really need employees that serve as a host/hostess to put on their happy face and actually act like you enjoy working there. She may have been having a bad day, but that is not an excuse.

Having reservations helped, and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.
