There's the test drive to do first, and then the negotiation and then the paperwork. None of it is a good time, and in our past, found that it takes a full fricking day to buy something. We hate that. Or at least, I do. We went on a test drive and liked the car, so we agreed to the purchase. It took very little time to complete the paperwork, and all the licensing and registration was completed my them, making the transfer relatively easy. I'd buy a car from them again. I didn't have to fight or wait for management to approve pricing. (no, that doesn't mean we paid more, it means the cost was reasonable for the vehicle and there wasn't a lot of to and fro that needed to happen.). I'm an adjuster and have an idea of the values. We were pleased with the pricing. They did the DMV stuff for us, and as it's a luxury car, I'd expect that. But there was no hassle in getting that done. It was a good experience, and I'd do it again. We'll see about the service dept when it comes time for an oil change.

So I have a old vehicle it begins to stop when it's driving the fuel pump is bad on it so I was highly recommended to Ed. I was told that he could fix my vehicle for a cheaper price most mechanics would charge. Ed also knew about this vehicle. I called him up and talked to him about the fuel pump situation and how much it would cost for everything.He told me that he doesn't want to work on my old pickup and that he usually doesn't work on older vehicles. Later I looked on his facebook page and most the posts are older vehicles actually ones older than mine. I told him that all you have to do is check the fuel pressure. He said well that might not fix the problem and that he couldn't guarantee that was the problem. For a mechanic to not be curtain on things like that then that tells me that they have poor business and that they aren't trustworthy. I don't want a mechanic that is trash to fix my car so he can rip me off and mess more things up on it. I would never take my car to this man!! Made a yelp just to leave this place a review after they decided to cost me a few extra towing…read morebills. My car stalled suddenly on the highway, and I had it towed to this shop in Olathe. They told me that my timing belt failed, causing the timing to slip, and that as a result the engine was toast and they quoted it at about a $6,600 repair. I immediately knew something was up, given that my vehicle has a non-interference engine (meaning even if the engine were to jump time there should be no extensive damage). I decided to get a second opinion, and it turns out the water pump had failed, and caused the engine to slip 3 teeth out of time... All in all, the replacement water pump, antifreeze, timing belt, and installation totaled around $500, the car runs completely normally. I am very disappointed with their service. They clearly did not spend much time figuring out what was wrong with my vehicle, and instead decided that they would quote me an outrageous amount to fix a non issue. I won't be wasting any more time or money hoping these folks will actually keep their customer's best interest in mind. 1/5

This business is all about integrity and honesty - and then they know all the automotive magic…read morenecessary to get you back on the road. They have, in a word, pulled back the curtain on why it costs what to fix "that" for me. They've even gone as far at times to take me "under the hood" and show me what a healthy part looks like compared to the broken one that needs fixing. I've put three cars in in their care over the years, each time getting an option or three with associated prices and timelines, and then getting their understanding when I make my choices. I usually ask way too many questions but I've never felt any impatience on their part I recommend others to In Motion as often as I can.
