Our party of 6 had a great experience! We went for brunch on a Saturday during the farmers market and Worthington arts festival. Thankfully we had a reservation so we were able to be seated immediately. The previous reviews left us skeptical about what we were walking into but i gotta say... I'm not sure i can agree with the naysayers! We were all really impressed with how beautiful the restaurant "make over" looked. The service was top notch, Charlie was great and handled our family with ease. The food was honestly pretty good! I wouldn't say any of us in our group are food snobs by any means, but not a single one of us had a single complaint and each us left as members of the clean platers club! The food arrived hot, fresh and delicious! Honestly, not a single complaint about the entire experience. We can't wait to try dinner in the future! We will for sure be back!!

It pains me to write this, as I was so excited for the reopening of the Worthington Inn under Wolf's Ridge ownership, but we just had an extremely disappointing brunch. First, the good things: the interior is great, especially the gorgeous bar area. The decor features aesthetically pleasing nods to Worthington History (paintings, artwork), cool signage, lighting, and seating. No TVs in the bar area is also a nice touch. Everything else today was very disappointing, however. Our server was nice, but we saw very little of them, and when they were visiting our table, they seemed to have little interest in the job or urgency in serving. It honestly took almost an hour for our food to come out, and given that nearly everything we ordered was some form of toasted / griddled bread (French toast, croque madame, monte cristo sandwich), that wait time seemed ridiculous. When it did come out, it was fine, but seemed just mediocre quality (not super warm-- I wonder how long it was sitting?-- and looking kind of messy). We also had two sides of bacon that simply never came out; when asked about it, our server said they were "still working on it." (I had to ask for them to be taken off our bill when we'd finished our entrees and still had heard nothing about them...). From what I could tell, other people were having the same issue. This could be a bad morning, but it makes me very hesitant to try again (especially when there are so many other great brunch options in this very neighborhood). Hoping you figure this issue out, Wolf's Ridge! It's a great space.

Wolf's Ridge does it again! We went to Wolf's Ridge at Worthington Inn for happy hour yesterday evening and it was fantastic! Our service was so quick and attentive. The Ploughman's Plate was a huge hit with the group. We also enjoyed the Burrata, smoked haddock dip, asparagus and squash blossom. One of my personal favorite cocktails in general is the Clover Club, which they had on the menu! It was one of the best I've ever had and also tried the Spicy Grapefruit Margarita. Truly a great experience.

Cheese plate! These pickles were amazing!

For the ceremony: There is a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking a pond w/ a fountain. Plenty of seating with a small aisle for the bridal party to walk down. For the reception: There is plenty of room! Tons of natural lighting. A concession stand type window bar area and an alcove to set up the food and cake tables. I was very impressed with this venue. Baking macarons is a tricky thing and Damaris did such a good job breaking down all the steps. She gave us lots of tips and tricks for our home baking, and you can see her passion for what she does. That said, I have been to several of the cooking schools in Columbus and this was my least favorite overall attendee experience. It was more expensive, yet very "basic" for lack of a better word. All of the cooking classes I have attended come with some kind of amenities - a welcome cocktail, wine bar, cheese and crackers, hot coffee/tea, etc. Something. This class was three hours long and there was nothing offered but water and iced tea (on a 20 degree day). We also did not receive any kind of information prior to the class, so parking was like solving a mystery (hint: the parking lot is behind the house down a side alleyway)

So first off I want to say I am glad my husband purchased me this gift. In theory cooking with tea…read moresounded like the coolest thing ever and it was a very thoughtful gift, but the actual experience was a bit lackluster. The Seasoned Farmhouse is a beautiful space, but the cooking class was just okay. I unfortunately didn't learn any new skills and the main reason for this review being so low is because my husband and I got food poisoning at the event. I felt sick as soon as I ate the food and didn't feel better until 24 hours later. I have lots of thoughts on why this happened, that I will explain later. Class + Recipes: The recipes we tried were good. It was a class all about learning how to cook with tea. We made Shaoxing Wine Tea-Poached Chicken with Scallion Oil, Sweet Tea-Brined Roast Chicken, Salad Greens with Golden Raisin Vinaigrette, Tea-Poached Eggs, Black Tea Poppy Seed Muffins, Earl Grey Tea Cake with Chopped Chocolate and Tea-Infused Cream Cheese Frosting and Roasted Yukon Potato Wedges with Aioli Sauce. The food tasted good and I appreciated the amount of thought that Chef Cindy Ramsey put into creating them. However, I was severely disappointed with the set-up of the class. I've been to 6 cooking classes at other locations and always was assigned to a specific station where each participant would make each dish and learn new cooking skills. This class was set-up where we were given a 20 minute lecture and then told to wash our hands and disperse to focus on different aspects of the meal. For instance I mixed the aioli sauce, iced the cake and teared lettuce leaves. Though we were told to wash our hands, we didn't wear gloves and this is what I believe caused my husband and I to get sick. Cons: Lack of cleanliness. During the demonstrations sometimes the chef would touch raw ingredients like eggs and chicken and would then touch other ingredients that would not be cooked. This leads to cross contamination and should have been avoided on the chefs behalf. In addition, because 10 different people peeled eggs, and various people touched ingredient components that would not be cooked I believe this also may be the cause of getting sick. As a science nerd let me share that we all have a different skin microbiome. Sometimes people carry more of one bacteria on their skin than others. Also depending on the length and cleanliness of finger nails, this also could cause unwanted bacteria on food that was prepared without being cooked. If these bacteria get into the ingredients, some people can get ill from them. Net: PLEASE HAVE ALL PARTICIPANTS WEAR GLOVES WHEN PREPARING FOOD, ESPECIALLY ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE COOKED. I feel like the price of the class was not cheap and hopefully could cover the cost of gloves in the future. Based on this experience, I would not come here again and do not recommend it to someone who is looking for a more traditional style cooking class.

Patti was pleasant to work with before and…read moreduring the wedding itself, and the venue is a nice small space for an intimate ceremony. Unfortunately, the experience after booking and after the wedding became frustrating, and several important issues were never properly addressed. The first issue was with the package pricing. We only had two guests attending my mom and sister. We were told we had to book the next package tier because the smallest package did not allow guests, which cost about $200 more. During the wedding, Patty mentioned that because we only had two guests, we actually could have used the smaller package with just a small additional fee. However, when I followed up by email afterward asking about this, she denied ever saying that. That was disappointing and felt dishonest. The second major issue involved the photographer. Patti forgot to inform the photographer that we were scheduled, so the photographer arrived about 1.5 hours late. Because of this, many important pre-ceremony photos including dress photos, ring photos, and other moments getting ready had to be taken on a phone instead of professionally. We paid a significant amount for photography, so this was extremely frustrating. The delay also caused the rest of the session to feel rushed. Communication after the wedding was also poor. We were never given updates on when to expect our wedding photos, and I had to send multiple emails asking about them. I was repeatedly told the gallery had already been emailed to me, but nothing was ever received in my inbox or spam folder. It took almost two more weeks of back-and-forth before I finally received the link. Overall, while the venue itself is decent for a small wedding, the lack of communication, scheduling mistakes, and refusal to acknowledge concerns left a very negative impression. I understand that mistakes happen, but the way these issues were handled afterward is why I cannot recommend this venue. There are many better options for couples planning a smaller-budget wedding.
