My friend really enjoys this place and we finally got to try it the other day. Their new local is large and has lots of seating both inside and outside. I got a honey cinnamon iced latte and it was good! I also got 2 potato egg tacos. They were large and filling. Baristas were friendly and drinks were made efficiently. There was a lot going on there on a Sunday midday, with people looking at cars, motorcycles, and some others playing pool. Seems like it has something for everyone! read more

Wolfsmiths is a wonderland. Friday night offered acoustic guitar and song in the downstairs den. There was a parade of stand-up comedy in the club room upstairs. A double shot from the well for under $10. Wolfsmiths is friendly, funny and cheap. It draws a good crowd. Oh, of course there's a pool table. read more

If you're a motorcycle rider or motorbike enthusiast, then this bar/cafe will speak to your soul. Located in the GOOF (Garden Oaks and Oak Forest neighborhoods), it serves up locally roasted Amaya Coffee, beer, cocktails, $3 Tacodeli breakfast tacos, and there's a lovely merch display that begs to sifted through. Seating is a plenty inside and out, there's wifi, a/c, hand sani on every table, masks; it's dog-friendly, people friendly - they even have a calendar of organized biker rides. And free ride lessons? I used to LOVE this place. They used to make the most incredible fresh breakfast tacos. Now they have premade tacos and they don't have the same options as before. I would've said they have some of the best breakfast tacos in Houston but I can't anymore. Please bring back the old breakfast tacos! The premade ones are mediocre. read more

Last time we visited the tacos were unreal. The grill was open and the tacos made fresh. Todays visit was so disappointing. $23 for two small iced lattes (mostly milk) and two small pork egg tacos that were cold and the tortillas were uncooked! Or if they were it tasted like they were microwaved. Tasted awful, couldn't finish it and it ended up hurting my stomach :/ Next time I go will probably only be if the grill is open otherwise definitely not worth it read more

I have a dog and I always bring him wherever I go so I try to find places that are super pet friendly. And this place is one of them. When you arrive in the establishment, you will find two trucks--one is for ordering coffee and the other is for ordering tacos and food. Parking in the area is horrible. It is pretty much first come, first serve. The staffs are super friendly. Plenty of outdoor areas for you to enjoy with your little 4 legged friends and the interior, is also pet friendly where you can hangout with them inside, use your computer and study for hours. There are outlet areas for you to charge your electronic of choice and you can admire motorcycles and watch the mechanic do their work in the back (of course, not literally watch them in the back) lol but you can see them from where the tables and seats are. Accessories and goods are for sale related to motorcycles, etc. This is an innovative spot. None like this in Houston and I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Houston or is from Houston who loves dogs, coffee and motorcycles ! read more

Even with only a slight motorcycle love, I soooo enjoyed this place. So random, but so bad ass! Few espresso options, but it was really good. I got an extra hot oat flat white and my husband got an extra hot latte with a little sweetness. We both enjoyed it. To best describe this place, it's a custom/vintage motorcycle sales/parts shop that sells coffee and tacos and has great outdoor seating with games. Such a surprising place, but I loved the coffee, perusing the merchandise, and inspecting unique motorcycles. read more

This is an honest review from a local coffee shop frequenter. I've been to places that use the same exact roast (Amaya Roaster's Temporada) and similar machine set up. My go to base order is a flat white, and so I ordered one here at Wolfsmiths. In comparison to the other shops (Amaya, Catalina, Siphon) the taste was hollow and lacked the punch that comes with this roast. There was a lack of the typical chocolate notes, and instead was woodsy and bland. The milk wasn't warmed up enough resulting in a lukewarm cup. The Roaster, Amaya, and it's espresso blend is a product and I use it for my at home espresso machine (HX prosumer). The care that goes into this roast should continue into the output of the consumer facing cup. This is a fairly new shop and I hope this review can contribute to the improvement of the coffee program. read more

This is a hidden spot in the Heights - blink and you will miss it! Such an interesting concept - a do it all space with coffee, tacos, and pastries plus a major liking for motorcycles. There is a large indoor and outdoor space with a decent amount of seating. I ordered a Flat White - it was good, what you would expect from a Flat White. Interesting decor! read more

Super rad vibe, cute dogs, cool merch, delicious coffee, amazingly sweet girls working there who are taking the pandemic seriously (masks, hand sanitizer, distancing, let you put the lid on your coffee) and make you feel comfortable and are very welcoming. The vanilla oat milk latte (my go-to drink at any coffee shop) was phenomenal! Very smooth, without the bitter aftertaste of burned beans. Two weeks prior to having a gathering I visited and liked the atmosphere. Staff was cordial, but not greeted when I walked in. I left a message for the owner that we wanted to have a meeting there, but he didn't get it. We showed up at 8AM upon their opening and was told we had to allow space for regular customers. 10 of us sat at a picnic table inside and 5 outside. The staff we needed to go outside but there wasn't enough seating. The staff delivered drinks to our table then we had a speaker for a 1 hour. Before our hour was up the staff turned up the music. I asked them to turn it down that we were almost finished and would leave. Then the male staff began smoking his vapor pipe or incense and literally with his hands wafted it around toward us. Two of us had a reaction to the fumes. We went outside to finish our meeting. Liked the sanitizer and masks at the door! Bathroom fairly clean. Other meetings were gathered outside with smokers. There were nice to let my dog in and had a water bowl out for her. They did say the coffee shop was new that is why they didn't accept cash or print paper receipts. Our heart was to bless small businesses with 15 new people all who made purchases, but we felt unwelcomed for sure. Not one person said thank you. The owner called me personally saying he didn't get the message and asked if I would call him next time. Again, not even a thanks for stopping in. This place has a lot of potential though! Give them a try and I bet you will have a better experience!! read more
