Also, most dealerships wouldn't deal with out-of-state buyers (especially from California like me), not Woltz & Wind! Erik, Frank Davin the supervisor, and Jill McCrackin with finance department went above and beyond in dealing with all the craziness that California has with taxes, registration, and out-of-state purchases. We brought the car (a Ford Fusion) here because of a strange noise. They charged an arm-and-a-leg to replace the resonator, but they installed it wrong, hanging low like a rope--it was scraping all the speed bumps and irregularities on the road, parking lots, driveways, you name it--until I had it fixed elsewhere. The noise persisted, it was not the resonator. Since the resonators was obviously not the problem, we brought it back (big mistake!). After 1 week, they charged us almost $1,000 to tell us that "we can't find the source of the noise, use it like this"! Can you believe it? This is a Ford dealership and "they can't find the source of the noise"! Update: an independent mechanic solved the problem by replacing the fuel low pressure sensor (parts: $20 on Amazon) and cleaning the fuel injectors! Apparently, GDI (gasoline direct injection) engines like on this vehicle are notoriously prone to clog the fuel injectors, and finnicky about high/low fuel pressure sensors and high pressure pump performance. Go tell the dealer. read more

I switched from using my local mechanic to the dealer service for all of our needs such as oil changes and inspections. The service is always done quickly and the price is less than I expect. Cindy from service is always very quick to answer any of my questions and had been very helpful. She makes it a really good experience to have my car in for service. Brought my Ford Fusion in for service multiple times for the low tire pressure sensor. First they blamed it on me buying tires from Flynn's Tire. But after 3 or 4 visits, they were still never able to resolve the issue. Their service department sucks!!! read more

Took my truck in for a warranty transmission issue and when I picked the truck up, there was a squeaking sound coming from the transmission. Had to take it back to them twice for them to get it right the seat was also torn out a seam. They said, they replaced the seat cover, but a week later the seat tore in the same exact spot on a seam pretty sure they just glued it back together and told me they gave me a new seat cover. I also think that their new and used vehicles were over priced. read more

My husband and I were on route from SC to PA, had a little trouble starting the car a few times on our trip, got 1 1/2 hours away from our destination when it completely died. Out of 7 people in the area these guys were the only ones that would even look at the car within 2 weeks. They not only looked at it, they diagnosed it within a day, replaced the part, thoroughly test drove it to be sure it was safe, and returned it to us just in time for our return trip & it's running beautiful! Cost was not as high as we thought it would be either. Highly recommend them, and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. read more

A sensor on my F250 went out and I was stuck in PA. They were the only ones that were able to get my truck in to be diagnosed. They gave it prompt attention and resolved the issue. I am very grateful to them for fixing it as soon as they did. I was told from other Ford dealers that it would be at least 2 weeks. We chose to get my car (Mazda 3 i-Touring) repaired after I was in a car accident because the work was guaranteed with their dealership and our insurance. This would not be a place that I would go to again or recommend. After first being told that the repairs would take 1-2 weeks, they would call and say that it took two days to take the front of the car apart. From the accident, most of the front was loosened (to say the least.) I'd rather have had them be honest and just say that they didn't get to it yet. Time marched on and we continued to pay for our car rental for a grand total of 3 weeks. After we got our car back, we noticed fluid dripping, which hadn't happened before the accident. We brought it back in and they had given our car back to us with the oil cap loosened and with a broken radiator hose. How both of those things got by them after someone inspected it after the job was finally done, I'll never know. They did have the decency to fix it and not charge us or our insurance company, but after 3 weeks, we just wanted to get it over with. We also felt the price (had we not had insurance) was significantly higher than it should have been. The car was not totaled by any means, but we didn't fight it because we just had to pay the deductible. If you don't have collision insurance, this is definitely not where you want to be monetarily. Excessive time on repairs, having to bring the car back for more, and a higher than normal price tag are three excellent reasons why you should probably look elsewhere to get work done on your car. read more

Had purchased a used vehicle with a 4 month 4 ,000 mile warranty in March 2021. Been back in the shop 4 times with an overheating problem. The last time I was in they claim I had a bad hose clamp. I'm sure a bad hose clamp doesn't cost $200 when I was told I said I'm not going to pay $200 for a clamp. They were going to take if off long story short I heard back from corporate. Than back from them (Woltz Wind) saying I should wait for mr Morgan who is charge of service dept. I've been waiting since late June or Early July, to have my car looked at. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP PPL. I was so close of going with my friends and family to stand across the street with signs and protest... still might do this. It's now August with not a word from Jim Morgan, or Ford. I'm riding in a car with no ac or can't be in traffic or I have to pull over and wait for the coolant sensor that goes into the cylinder head. I have been going to woltz & wind ford since 2011 for both service, trade in, and the purchase of vehicles. It is the only ford dealership I've been to that I never feel like people are all over me to sell me a vehicle. Joe Simbari sold me both of my vehicles. I had a focus and now I have an escape. The service department is awesome. I take my vehicle here for everything that needs done. They have a really nice waiting room with wifi, tv, and complimentary beverages. When I come for an oil change or inspection I just wait and work in the waiting room. Any time I have had a recall on my vehicle they get me in right away. The service guys are great and very knowledgeable. When I first started coming here it was very convenient because I worked out this direction. I no longer work out this way but still come here to service my car. That should tell you something about the quality of the department. Will continue to come here for years to come. read more

After spouse passed away two years ago and lease was no no longer valid it was very difficult, as a widow with no income other than social security, to purchase van. Mr. Stephan Siegel persisted in his help, and both he and and the dealership spend at least an hour trying to find a bank or financial group with which to purchase the Ford Escape. I have used this dealership in the past with so-so results on the service side of their business. I have a fleet vehicle which requires an approval over the phone or on a computer (web-based) I dropped off my truck at 9am for an inspection and emission. By the way made the appt to drop and leave for the day 10 days in advance. Showed early and waited in line 25 minutes just to check in by 915am. Called in at 1:17 pm told nothing yet. OK they were ridiculous busy in the morning, I can live with that. Arrived back at the dealership at 4:30 PM and was told my fleet service was the issue that they took to long to approve the repairs necessary to pass inspection and keep my vehicle safe. I can and justify and allow extra time for unexpected repairs. However this (the approval) Complete and utter lie, service didn't bother to try and get the approval until 3:45 pm. I live a little more than hour from this dealership which is quite a predicament when no options for a ride are made available by the dealership, the response was hands the air "I don't know" see you tomorrow when the vehicle is completed. I made attempts to get a rental car with no luck through multiple sources, the service agent also made an attempt no luck either. Finally decided to have them assemble my not inspected truck so that i could make it home without inconveniencing any other friends or family. I have used this dealership because my fleet vehicles have been delivered thru this location for more than almost two decades, I have now decided to have my fleet deliver vehicles another way and will try very hard to never set foot in this location again, I am defining it as never again because should an emergency situation present itself I may have to suck it up and deal with them. I truly hope this never happens. Posting this is very difficult because I have always taken the stance that if you don't have something to say shut up. The moral to this post is never leave your vehicle at this dealer because a simple inspection that creates the need for a brake job may require multiple days to fix. They claim it is my fault for agreeing to drop off and leave, the supposed solution is set up an appt and wait. (Ridiculous) read more

After receiving horrible service at another Ford Dealership, I was left with Key Fobs that no longer functioned. A real issue for a car with keyless entry and ignition! W&W diagnosed the problem for me, which was an hour of their time that they could not bill for. Ford Corporate was involved and agreed to supply a new fobs, which W&W then programmed for my car, another hour that they couldn't bill for. I was very impressed that they took the time to help me out of a jam and solve a problem they did not create. I enjoyed working in the waiting room with free wifi and a hot drink on a cold day. Horrible service department. My car has been towed 4 times in the last 3 months and they still don't know what is wrong even though they replaced the transmission! Even after the new transmission, it has been towed 2 more times. They don't care about their customers, they are unorganized, they are absolutely horrible. They even called me while my car was in their shop (for 3 weeks) to ask me for my VIN number because they had no idea it was there. When I explained this to the person who called she asked me to pretend she never called me requesting this information. Talk about a cluster. read more

Wanted to purchase a used car and discussed it over the phone with salesman Greg Sulc. Went through all the trouble sending pictures and paperwork to get an estimate which was originally given via internet sales department. Once I sent all that, we arranged an appointment for test drive and review the trade in. After the test drive and review, I was given a single sheet of paper that had the EXACT price of the car (no change) and the estimate for the trade in was half of its worth. I wasn't as mad about the trade in as I was about the original price staying the same. Wolz did not come down on price one dollar. The way it was handled, just handing me a piece of paper outside the building, I totally felt as if they just didn't want my business at all. I also felt that Greg Sulc was more worried about the virus than trying to give the customer a good experience. No discussion about negotiation, nothing, just a robotic blank stare. No follow up email, nothing..just suck it up and go somewhere else if you want a better deal. I previously bought my truck at this dealership and the experience was completely different, I was quite pleased with the result. Not sure if was just an impersonal salesman or that the place is spooked over the virus and impersonal is the new norm at Woltz.. but, thank goodness there are other choices. I just sold the trade in at webuyanycar.com for just under what I expected to get a Woltz and am now taking that money to another dealership for a similar car. read more

Buying experience was good, as I had previously written. But the service department is another story. I had to have the "heart replacement" equivalent of service done to my car. New engine, transmission, suspension, brakes. It was a mess. I was not offered a loaner vehicle at all, and the communication was poor while my car was in for service. The lady at the counter just handed me the multiple-pages of documents and keys detailing one of the biggest car repairs in history and offered no further explanation A MONTH later after fixing what was obviously a lot of issues, I received a car that was horrendously dirty, and not fully fixed. The alignment is obviously off, and when they replaced some door latches (this was a known recall), they broke the keyless access that comes with the car. A great place to buy, but not a great place to get service. When you have to replace everything and the kitchen sink in a car, you should do a full inspection. How they did not realize how off the alignment was completely off and that features were broken on the car is beyond me. read more

I recently purchased a certified vehicle for my daughter to use for college. At the time of purchase I really didn't get much of a test drive but it did consist of some of the conditions one experiences when driving. I took it in for service earlier this week. The staff was helpful and friendly. They gave me information needed to complete the request. Since I was waiting for it, I had a seat in their lounge. The lounge offers free WiFi. TV, and complimentary water bottles. In addition I found it easier to make phone calls from my wireless. The place is clean and well organized. They completed the work to my satisfaction and I was pleased. I must regret that they do not have Sat hours. This will make it difficult to get it serviced again since my daughter is away at college. As a new owner of this vehicle I was entered into some type of rewards program for whenever I pay for future service. It is just another perk that they offer. read more

When I'd take it back to have them fix what they broke, they tried to blame me.. I guess because I'm a girl. Sorry I know cars and I know how I brought it in too. Must've been a huge person getting in and out of my driver's side because they destroyed the weather stopping and the control panel on the side of my seat. They also didn't fix my original problem. Well not very pleased with these guys. Bought a 2008 Ford Escape, wasn't clean on inside like they said it would be took it back still looked bad, did it myself. Had the transmission go at 61,000 miles guaranteed for 100,000 fought to get it fix. They supposedly put a new one in, only lasted 42,000 miles. They refused to do anything about it, oh they did say call Ford, I did. Ford said it is the dealers responsibility, wrong. Yet I took it to a local transmission shop, cost me over $3,000. but guess what, he gave me a 10 year 50,000 mile warranty. Funny how a small guy could do that and a large well known car dealer ( Wotlz and Wind Ford) could do nothing. I will never ever recommend Woltz and Wind Ford to any buddy, even people I don't like. Dropped my 2011 Fusion AWD here after it was hit while parked. Upon picking up the vehicle I noticed it was making a loud grinding sound, parked the car, asked the repair manager what was up, he said it was the power steering, insurance company ruled it couldn't have been related to the accident(my front left tire was severed from my steering column after being hit) so I took this with a grain of salt left the lot and pursued my insurance rep. We agreed to get the car serviced elsewhere given Ford took a month to fix some of the issues, not all. But before the month was up, wouldn't you know, my transmission went and of course this couldn't possibly be related to my vehicle being smacked off the street and onto the sidewalk. Regardless, I wouldn't take your vehicle here, they failed to detect such an obvious problem and then failed to have any transparency with me, the owner of the vehicle. If they can't get my insurance company to fix my car entirely, what makes you think they'll fix everything when you get hit? I'm sure their sales reps do a swell job and everyone is nice and pleasant, but trust me, been there, done that, lost a job, car, and took a decent pay cut. Learn from me and look for a reputable mechanic. These guys took over a month to give me a car that didn't drive and no one thought to call me and inform me that it wasn't going to drive even after all the repairs. read more

I cannot express how disappointed I am in my service experience with Woltz and Wind. We have purchased a couple cars here and, that is going to end. After being rear-ended in 2016 and taking my vehicle to the dealership for repairs I was told "we'll take care of it." This past weekend (years after the accident) I go to trade the vehicle in and find that the carfax for my vehicle reports structural damage. This was never mentioned, explained, or even suggested by anyone in the service department and of course, they would like to blame the person who hit me's insurance carrier. I'll call that what it is- a steaming pile of garbage. If you go here for service, ask lots of questions, get lots of things in writing, and be sure to find out if there is structural damage to your vehicle because it seems they think that sort of thing isn't important to disclose to their "valued customers." I recently had my car towed to this dealership to get a new tire. I was advised that I was going to need not just a new tire but also a new wheel. The cost was going to be upwards of $900. I took the car elsewhere to for a second opinion and was advised a new wheel was by no means necessary. Completely tried to rip me off. I liked the sales associate that assisted us during the process of buying my new car. He worked with us and listened when we told him what we were looking for and our budget. As for the service department, they were nice but I do not believe they did anything to the vehicle to check it out, 2 weeks after I had purchased it. There are 2 recalls on the vehicle that keep coming up on my vehicle health report that I had asked to be looked at and I don't think they were looked at. The noise I am hearing from my car apparently is a "normal" noise that was told to me on a piece of paper. I still do not think it is normal and will be getting a second opinion for that purpose. He helped me narrow my choices so I got exactly what I wanted and needed for a very reasonable price. Paul is not at all pushy at all. I am always on guard when I walk into any dealership for the sleazy salesman that is going to rush and hit me with 15 sales pitches in 15 mins. This dealership is awesome. My experience with the above dealership for repair service was abysmal. My 1991 Mustang GT convertible would not start after being stored over the winter. A new battery was initially placed, but to no avail. I've been took it to a local garage which I've had it serviced many times without incident. This time, they stated that I should go to A Ford dealership/garage. Thus, I went to Woltz and Wind. They first stated that the gasoline had spoiled and it was changed. This did not solve the problem. They did determine that there was something wrong with the electrical system and stated that The electrical part would have to be sent to Detroit. They said it would take three weeks. I requested if they could put the car in the garage because the wait and also because the car is an antique with only 26,000 miles on it. They said that they could not do so. I paid over $1200 and picked it up on a Saturday, as I was out of town on business. The car had a new set of scratches on the hood and fender panel of the hood in the same plane. Furthermore, the fuse box cover was off and could not be placed back on. Also, I noticed that a piece of carpet/sound deadening material was placed on the rear floor. I rubbed out the scratches as best as I could. A few days later I received an email from the dealership asking for my feedback. They requested that if my feedback we're to be unfavorable that I should call first. I did so and spoke with Lisa. This was nine days ago. She stated that she would get back with me soon. I also requested what grade of gas I should have in the car when I stored it. She stated that she would get back with me regarding this also. Since it has been over a week since my last communication with them, I will pursue this forum To at least state my problem, As Lisa and the dealership has failed to keep its promise to address my problem. read more

Buying the car was not the issue. I worked with a buddy of mine, Scott, and he was fantastic. The other guys there (who I do not know) were fairly pushy it seemed. My review is not for the buying process, because that's the easy part. The part that proceeds that is what is more important since you have to deal with these people for years. Let me say the service department is terrible and they're always booked at least a month in advance. I had 3 recalls on a 2014 Ford Fusion I had purchased in May of 2014. I didn't pursue these immediately because there was no danger in the recalls, and honestly it's not the easiest thing in the world to take your car to a shop, have someone take you to work, etc. In July the turn signals stopped working, the lights wouldn't turn on, the finish on my rims had completely worn off, and nothing on the steering wheel worked. Whenever I called about this, they noticed there were multiple recalls (which I already knew), however they said they couldn't do anything for at least 2 weeks. They also said it would take a few days to fix. The best part, they wouldn't give me a rental car even though every problem had been known by Ford (including the rims). Along with this, the customer service person tried to sell me the most expensive tires because he said two of them were bald. I was in Chicago at the time, so I couldn't expect the tires, but I know how these dealerships try to scam you. I asked to see the tires. I get my car at the start of the week, and didn't see the tires. I get home and notice they're in my back seat (which no one informed me of). The service here is horrendous, and nobody in the service gives a damn about people who spent over 25 grand on a car from there dealership. I WOULD NEVER, EVER, GO HERE AGAIN. I don't care what problems I have, I'm going to my mechanic who won't try to scam me and will treat me with respect. read more

Strike Two and Three for Woltz and Wind Ford Service Dept A few months back I wrote a review concerning a scheduling glitch that Woltz and Wind Ford had within their scheduling system. In short their online system did not communicate with their service scheduling system, and my appointment was canceled at the last minute. STRIKE ONE. Since then they have removed this tool from their site, as I am sure I was not the only one to experience this issue, kudos for listening to the customer. As such I decided to give them another try, which to my dismay was a mistake. I called the service department a few weeks before hand and got on the schedule, as I have learned it takes at least a couple weeks to get an appointment. One would think that they must be doing something right to be so busy, I found out today that is not the case, but I will explain more about that later. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and they got right to work on my vehicle. Services being executed today include, an oil change and tire rotation, repair hood latch that gets stuck open and takes a great deal of work to get closed again, repair back up sensor that was showing red zone for two days straight and finally repair windshield washer fluid sensor that fails to provide an alert when nearing empty or when completely empty. As I exited the service desk area I heard the one mechanic tell the other mechanic to just spray some WD40 or JB Blast on it, to which I informed him that I tried that and it was a short term fix and would stick again the next time you opened the hood. To which I swore he gave me a smirk, but let's pretend he didn't. After an hour or so the service manager came in and went over the diagnosis with me. 1. Oil was changed and tires rotated 2. The latch and cable would need replaced, but they didn't have the cable there and they would need to order it in, it would be there by tomorrow. (Funny enough everyone that needed parts that day, from brake pads to sensors, needed to come back or wait another couple hours for the parts to arrive... no wonder it takes forever to get an appointment, everyone has to come back or wait the whole day. You would think a Ford dealership would at least have brake pads for a later model Ford). 3. They couldn't replicate the issue with the back up sensor, but a notice was out advised that water can ingress through the back of the sensor causing the issue I was having and instructed to put grease on the back of the sensor to protect it, which they did. We shall see how well this works. 4. Finally, 2015 Ford F-150 XLTs do not come equipped with a windshield washer fluid sensor to alert the drive when it is low or empty... interesting. No problem, I will just open the hood and check every so often, oh wait the hood won't close when I do that.... Still not a big deal I guess. A little sarcasm there if you couldn't pick up on it. Moving on. When I purchased my truck as a certified preowned I was given a "Bumper to Bumper" extended warranty. Well get ready for my shocked face... the latch and cable replacement are not covered. Not a big deal, its not like it is a safety feature of the vehicle. I am sure this is a consumable item that everyone needs to replace four years after the vehicle was manufactured... no? How much you ask, $350. I looked it up, I can get the parts for $60 from the dealer down the street from my house. Ridiculously over priced for a simple repair! STRIKE TWO. I said no thank you and that I would take care of it. When the service was complete and I was called to the cashier window, I made the crazy assumption that I would only need to pay for some grease and maybe a few minutes of labor, as I was finally using my free oil change. I should seriously know better by now.... Diagnostic fees of $50 for EACH issue. Ok I get the back up sensor, they had to try and replicate the issue and look into the error, but I told them exactly what was wrong with the hood latch. They literally charged me $50 to look at it and say "Yep you were right, the latch is faulty". I thought this couldn't be accurate and asked the cashier to please confirm that this was the case. Confirmed and STRIKE THREE!!! Dear Woltz and Wind Ford Service Department. Please start putting your customers first and stop nickel and diming them. I will make it a point to advise everyone I know to stay away from your establishment at this point. I am beyond shocked that this is the level of service given after the sale is made. Again I could not have been more impressed with your sales department, but due to the complete lack of customer focus on your service side you have lost my business and anyone who will listen business for good. read more

This dealership would sell their mother for some extra money. I recently purchased a used vehicle through them and was told by an apparently dirty dealer I was getting the top, bumper-to-bumper warranty. Not the case when I went to get my car worked on. Well, my bad for not reading the paperwork carefully enough (this was my first experience buying a car). But then the dealer told lied to me and told me that there was nothing they could do about my warranty for the future. I've had to get my aunt who works in a dealership across the state to help me switch my warranty. When I bought my car I was also sold on the fact that I could always come to them when I was experiencing problems. However, every time I tried to make an appointment I was told there was no room, no parts, no time, etc. and sent off to be someone else's problem. I would also frequently hear that they were out of loaner cars even though that was another part of the warranty I was sold on. Basically, I wouldn't deal with Woltz and Wind if you value honesty and good customer service. read more

I needed to join the mommy mini-van masses and stopped by here on my way home from work, not expecting much. This dealership differs from all others in all the right ways! Very friendly and helpful, Paul provided excellent service. My husband was also impressed and we would both HIGHLY recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a car.
