This is the first time I went to this office and I wouldn't recommend this place . The person giving the mammogram was rude . After I got done my breasts were all red from that machine she used and I've never had that problem in the past . I told them I didn't have my images because I changed insurance because I no longer work at my previous job so I had to get insurance under the market place . I gave them the information on who the doctor was , but that wasn't good enough . I'm sorry I also moved and I can't find my images . I also had a mole on one of my breasts that I told them in the past that it was covered she wouldn't listen and took it anyway regardless of what I said . I guess because a person is over 40 they think they can treat you like you are stupid . Well I'm not going back there anymore . They have bedside manners of a snake . read more

I had Janet for the second year in a row and I can't rave about her enough. She's so kind and caring, and she knows how to maneuver things for minimal pain. She literally has a magic touch. No one loves this procedure but she makes it as pleasant and painless as it can possibly be. I can't say enough great things about Women's Imaging Center. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and welcomed. Parking is in the back of the building which is actually the front entrance. There are signs that clearly indicate this. The waiting room is lovely and spacious. The changing room is also very clean and nice with lockers for your belongings. My gal that did my mammogram was awesome! Unfortunately I didn't get her name. I highly recommend this Imaging Center. Great experience overall. read more

I love to come here. This is my 3rd year that my OB/GYN dr send me here for annual check up Mammogram. I love this place because the facility is nice and clean, staff front desk are friendly & nice. Technician are very professional and caring and give me all detail step by step thru out the procedure. One thing I love about this place is they are on time with schedule and get you in/out in 30min-45min max. They even send me a letter every year to remind it time to check up again and that is a big help. I would love to come here every year for my annual check up. Been going to Women's Imaging Center for years starting when they were in a different building nearby. They have always been so kind and efficient. This year I went for my mammogram and a bone density scan. Mammogram went very well. Technician was very kind, gentle and efficient. Only 4 images and I was out of there with my yearly gift of a lovely nail file. Afterward, I had the bone scan which was a very easy process. Tech was very kind and had me lie on a flat board. Explained how it worked and within about 10 minutes I was done. It's non-invasive but don't wear any metal. You lay on the table and the camera is above you and just scans your body. Very easy. Overall, as usual a very pleasant experience. Next day, my doctor called me with results. Good for another year. read more

I have been a patient here for more than 20 years. My last mammogram in December 2021 was extremely painful. The technician was aggressive in positioning me on the equipment. Later, when I undressed for bed, I discovered a 3 inch cut under my right breast. When I called the office to report that, I was told that it happens frequently to their patients but they know how to prevent that from happening again! I was assured that when I come back next year, they will protect my breasts by placing a pad on the equipment. The cost for the pads is not covered by insurance and when the Center billed patients for them, the patients complained. So now, they will only use them for patients who have already suffered and reported prior injuries! I am still stunned at that response and I will never go back to the Women's Imaging Center again! Beware and go where patient care and patients are valued! read more

I would give a 5 star rating because this place is fast, friendly and have a good system except for the fact that they seal their capes in single use plastic. While the plastic used is recycled, the rate of plastics that actually get recycled is in the single digits. I wonder how great is the risk that a washed and dried fabric cape would pass on germs if kept in a clean shelf? read more

I have been coming to Women's Imaging for my Mammograms and i have always been treated well. Last year I had a Neuromodulator put in and the battery sits over my left clavicle. When I got my mammogram last year I forgot about the Neuromodulator since it was my first time with it. It threw off the programming and made it painful for me. This year I asked them to be careful and the technician really tried. She listened to me and that really helped. I know Mammograms aren't the highlight but they make them pleasant. read more

I've been coming here for 4 years now for my annual mammogram. Today I had Deborah, X-ray tech, and she was wonderful. She explained every step of the process, what was needed from me and was extremely calm and pleasant. For this being a somewhat dreaded and nerve wracking exam every year, I will point of the positives: there wasn't a wait (I did my paperwork ahead of time online), once in a room it was less than 10 min from start to finish, for being an uncomfortable screening procedure, it was the best it could've been. read more

I came in terrified with extreme pain in my breast and and was scheduled for an ultrasound and mammogram. I had anxiety and it was practically shaking... The silver lining in this entire situation was that Georgia was so gentle and sweet that she completely distracted me from what I was feeling and before I knew it I was calm. she could have not been more gentle and compassionate in my time of need. I was also very lucky to have Dr. Ming perform my ultrasound and he could've not been more wonderful... I felt like he was reading my mind and said everything I needed to hear in addition to giving me the good news that I was in good health. I couldn't have been in better hands and I am very grateful to the entire staff but particularly to the two wonderful people that I mentioned! Thank you are from the bottom of my heart! read more

I have gone to Women's Imaging Center for years. My experience is different from some of the reviews. First I find it very painful and hate the experience. Everyone's breast has a different density which may be why it's different for everyone. I have never been left for long periods of time in the dressing room. Besides the pain of the mamo I have no complaints of this office. I do have a complaint when making an appointment. You are put on hold and they play the most obnoxious music which makes me crazy. They wait about 5 minutes then give you the option to leave your number and they call you back. I just wish they would give me the option of a call back right away. read more

There are just a few things that we women must do on a regular basis to maintain our health that we can't do ourselves. One of them is getting a mammogram. I'm here at Women's Imaging today to get a sonogram as a follow-up to see if the spot they found last year is something or nothing. Their office is nice and mellow. They play a radio in the waiting room. And I came early to complete paperwork. Everyone was very professional and their equipment is a state-of-the-art 3D digital imager that moves around you which alleviates the need for you to get into contorted positions. I even got the answer I thought I would right from the radiologist's mouth - all clear. And getting that answer immediately from the doctor made my day. I had been fearing my next exam due to my humiliating and painful experience I had at BreastLink Orange CA in 2013---see my review. Women's Imaging is amazing! It had a spa-like atmosphere: music, free coffee, and attractive interiors. The receptionist was efficient and friendly. Kathleen, my tech, was sensitive and professional. She had a delicate touch and put me at ease. Sure, there was pressure, but I didn't get that crushing pain like before--and that lasted for days. I have been coming here for my mammograms for several years now. They do 3D digital scans which are thought to be more thorough. But the other great thing is that they dont hurt like the old mammogram machines! I no longer dread having one! And you get a fabulous glass nail file for coming in! Mammograms aren't fun. This center made it a streamlined efficient process. I had to come back for more views. The employee heard concern in my voice and scheduled for very next appointment. The felt employees cared about me and this eased my fear. It was informative as well. I didn't know it's better to keep track of all your mammograms so the radiologist can compare them. Easier to track changes. So noted. Breast health is super important. Look, my beautiful uncle died of breast cancer. So all you beautiful people men and women get your mammogram. Wow. You want some of the worst communication in the world, GO HERE!! I had my annual exam, and a week later got a generic letter that said something was wrong somewhere with my mammogram and I needed to come back sometime for some sort of follow up. At first I thought it was a mistake because they requested previous films to compare my current exam to. As I've been going there for years, I knew that they already had the films, so I called them. I was told that they had already compared my current exam to last years films, and when I asked why they requested them I was told, "Oh, we always do that." Really, how competent do they look requesting copies of something they already have? So I made an appointment, but they couldn't get me in for six days, which gave me almost a week to stew over what was going on. Any attempt to get a copy of the diagnosis was insane because it was encrypted and my computer wouldn't recognize it. When I arrived for my appointment, I had to wait for 1/2 hour for the doctor to arrive because nobody knew what he had found and so didn't know what to look for. To add to my anxiety, I still did not know what I was there for. It turned out to be another mammogram AND an ultrasound. Perhaps they could have told me what I was coming in for? After my appointment, I was told to come back in six months for an ultrasound. I scheduled the appointment. Three weeks later, I got a letter from my doctor, which was actually a copy of the diagnosis sent to his office. It stated that they were recommending a full diagnostic follow up in six months. I called the office and after five minutes on hold, was told that I was not going for an ultrasound, but another full diagnostic workup. DON'T YOU THINK THE PATIENT HAS THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH HER BODY??? I will miss Raphaela and Janet, who are amazing, understanding and compassionate. But I don't think I can deal with being yanked around like a piece of meat on a string any more. A generic form letter does not show any type of patient care. Shame on you, Your patient staff is great, but your communications with your patients pegs my anxiety level. Treat me like a person, not a piece of meat. I am not generic, and your letters should not be either. read more
