Hard and cracked shell. Dry and crumbly cream cheese.
    Ricardo T.

Wonder Bagel has been my go-to bagel shop in NJ for years. This was my first visit to the Bayonne WB location. I stopped in to WB after shopping at Michael's next door for a quick breakfast bite in between errands. Happy to see a WB, i didn't check the reviews after checking-in (tsk tsk, amateur). I ordered my usual cinamon raisin bagel with cinamon raisin walnut cream cheese and should have checked my takeout order before I left. The bagel itself was over cooked and the shell was hard and cracking. The specialty cream cheese was not fresh. The cream cheese was not creamy but crumbly. I am sure the employee's know the difference between fresh and stale and just did not care. I will stick to my regular Jersey City Wonder Bagels from now on.

My sister recommended me to come to this restaurant to try their food. The Staff: The staff members were friendly and helpful when they were taking my order. Honey Turkey on Wheat Wrap w/ Swiss Cheese: The honey turkey was definitely something different to me and was not dry. The swiss cheese tasted amazing with the honey turkey. Surprisingly the wheat wrap did not taste bad like the one's down in Edison, NJ area. Overall: I would most likely come back to this restaurant if I am in the area again because the food here tasted beyond what I had expected.

Bacon, Egg, & Cheese (on Everything Bagel)

I recently stopped at this Wonder Bagels location early in the morning before heading to work. They offered plenty of parking spots in the large parking lot area. Once inside, it wasn't too crowded. Just one person ahead of me ordering. They looked to have had a good selection of bagel choices (as well as cream cheese spreads). But, I went with a bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, toasted. My order came out quick, which I liked that they were fast and efficient. Upon opening my sandwich, it looked amazing. The bacon was crispy, which is the way I like my bacon. They put a good amount of egg and meat on the sandwich too. Just from looking at it, I knew it was going to be a good sandwich. After taking a few bites, I was correct. It was delicious. The bagel was fresh, and everything just tasted great. I really enjoyed it, and it was the perfect start to my morning. Can't wait to come back to try different bagels and sandwich options here.

Foodie Judy here!!! Wonder Bagel has been my favorite bagel spot for so long, but are y'all seeing this xP !!! I never reckoned a bagel could disappoint me more than my last husband! I phoned ahead and asked if they had a whole wheat and sesame bagel or if Foodie Judy dreamed it up (:P) the fellow told me normally no but today there was one whole wheat bagel that accidentally got a little sesame on it. WAHOO!!!!! I headed to the Tweeter to tell everyone I thought I won the lottery!! Then came the heart break- - a regular everything bagel. Well not regular since this bagel looks like she fell off the truck and got sold on the side for real cheap cheap. She's suspiciously thin (what's her secret? hehe :P) has weird gaps, and parts weren't fully cooked! My normal saving grace Ms. Veggie Cream Cheese abandoned me on this unholy day too!! Just tasted like her cousin plain cream cheeese :----( I don't want to give one star because of all the great bagels I met here so I give a saaaaaaaddddddddddd 2 :-(

The cook preparing food without a MASK and No GLOVES on
    Adrienne B.

I cannot believe the lack of precautions at this place. The woman that asked to help me had her mask UNDER her nose and no gloves on. I asked her to please pull up her mask to cover her nose and she says "it's hard to breathe". Then I notice the guy touching and cooking food NOT WEARING A MASK AND NOT WEARING GLOVES. the manager asked if I was ok and I said I'm uncomfortable with this man not wearing a mask. The manager tells me "mamm, the mask restrictions have been lifted if you work in the kitchen. Look it up and have a good day". Are you kidding??? Jersey is seeing an uptick in covid cases and you tell me restrictions are lifted!!!! I will be calling the Dept Of Health immediately.

Boy do I love me some wonder bagels but I will not be coming back to this location. I did an order for pick up over the phone (simple) and went to pick up. Walked in, waited my turn as the girl behind the counter was helping others, another woman walks in and says she's here for pick and the girl asks if my order was hers and she says no and begins helping her with hers! I said, "excuse me, no that's my order and I have been waiting here for my turn". They both look at me, don't have acknowledge and she continues to help the woman who just walked in. (Honestly I wouldn't be this bothered except it's during a time where I wanted to run in and out and stay in this store as little as possible). So great, except her order wasn't ready so she had finish making the coffee as my iced coffee now sat melting and my food cold. After she's done preparing her order and paying with cash... Now, I receive my order, pay, okay. My iced coffee is watery and my bagels are burnt (see photos). I asked for 2 onion bagels toasted w sausage egg cheese and hash browns. The bagels would have been great minus the burnt. For the service during COVID and 2 bagels I give two stars. I'll stick to the wonder bagels in jersey city, never had a problem with any orders at those locations.

    NY Style Bagel
    Ankit S.

I got the NY Style bagel. Fresh everything bagel, thick layer of cream cheese which is how I like it, plenty of lox, onions, tomatoes and capers. Tasted great while I was at the DMV next door.

Now this available s a BAGEL YUMMY

I remembered Deluca's unbelievably rich chocolate dessert from years before. I can't remember what it was called, but it had chocolate mousse, cheesecake, and chocolate something else. There was no way for me to finish a slice. Trust me, share it with someone or keep it in the fridge and let it last you several days. Since I was visiting my folks, this cozy little shop was a no-brainer for me. It's Italian and no one bothers you. This is all about cakes and coffee. I had a slice of key lime mousse this time. Oh yes! It was very good, and I can actually finish this one by myself! No guilt there. My latte was perfection. I might even claim it as one of the best I've ever had. *don't hate me, Seattlites* You see, Bayonne, Jersey still offers Italians a hint of cultural identity. From this, I expected nothing but goodness done right from this shop. It did not disappoint. I was there for 2 and a half hours this weekend to study. During that time, it seemed like there were a mix of friendly clientele. As much as I don't want to admit it, I sometimes miss hearing the Jersey accent.

I was asked 3x if I wanted flavored syrup. I politely said no. Not something I've never been asked before when ordering a cappuccino. The empanadas had this giant red name stamps on them. I wanted to order one but was not sure about the big red labeling. Turned me off to them. I ordered a ham/cheese croissant to go with the coffee. The croissant was super sweet and was a bold contrast to the ham/cheese combination. I really did not expect that. The staff wasn't rude but they weren't friendly either lol they were kinda just there. The space is super super tiny. It was myself an one other person but if she were to have stood up or someone came in we'd be on top of each other I was a bit confused on where to find the menu at first. They had a chalkboard with items on it for basic stuff . The cost was decent . Overall spent $8 The food and coffee was ok to me. Can't say I was impressed This cafe wasn't really for me and nothing stood out about it . Maybe others will have a different experience than I had but I will not be returning .
