I enjoyed my lox everything bagel, came here on weekday morning and there was no line, but it gets crowded on the weekends (service is still very fast). The bagel was loaded with fresh smoked salmon, but I do wish it was toasted. Will be back to try other bagels!
Every time I'm in town, this is my first stop--and for good reason! I've been coming here since they opened, and they never disappoint. I've tried both the iced latte and iced coffee, and they're consistently excellent. As for breakfast, the Big B and Morning Glory bagels are my go-to choices. While they share some similarities, each has its own unique flavor, and both are absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is always on point. Even during their busiest times, the staff provides friendly and efficient service. The welcoming atmosphere, combined with great employees and owners who clearly care about their customers, makes this place stand out. If you're looking for a great coffee and breakfast spot, do yourself a favor and give them a try. Order anything from the menu--you really can't go wrong!
I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I went in the late afternoon on Sunday and waited in line for about 20 min, then another 5-10 min for the order. Apparently they make the bagels in house and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. This is more of a take out place because of lack of seating inside. The prices are low. The bagel itself is quite tough. Not sure if it's the dough or if it was overbaked. They give you alot of filling though. I will give them another try. Hopefully the bagels aren't as tough next time.

We will stop by again to try the various types of bagels they offer. It looked busy but our food came out fairly quick. Good local spot that you should try especially if you are from out of town!
I stopped by B Bagels on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Brunson bagel which sadly didn't come on the blue and orange bagel anymore. It does take a couple minutes to come out but it was worth it. The bagel sandwich was hefty and I was only able to finish half. $17 is hefty for a bagel, but I'm glad I got to try it and would probably order something different next time.

I popped in here on St. Paddy's Day to grab some bagels for my fellow first responder friends. I was pleasantly surprised to meet one of the owners working behind the counter. He's a nurse entrepreneur!! --- as if that weren't cool enough, he's an LGBTQ+ ally and his staff couldn't have been kinder!-- the ambiance is chill, the bagels deliciously divine and the shop is immaculately clean .... it's stocked to the brim with all sorts of interesting bagels, coffees, cold beverages and breakfast treats!! --- also they do a baker's dozen (13 bagels for the price if 12!) , Prices are super reasonable !!! ----I will definitely be back when in the area and recommend B bagels to anyone looking for a satisfying bite in Historic Downtown JC!! 3/20/26 edit: Had round 2 of this little slice of bagel heaven today and the jalapeño egg bagel was marvelous !!-- Also had the pleasure of meeting the co owner Freddy who is just as delightful as Salim but don't tell him i said so ! lol go in ! grab some bagels .. the comic relief is free !!
I was still thinking about the lox bagel I had at Russ & Daughters the other day, but crossing the river again felt like too much work. So we tried B Bagel instead and it did NOT disappoint. It was geeewwd! The salmon wasn't sliced as thick as Russ & Daughters, but the bagel itself totally won me over. Bigger, crunchier, fresher... just really really good. Also loved how dog-friendly this place is. One of the owners came over to say hi to my husky and played with him for a bit, and I saw another pup hanging out inside too. Good bagels + dog lovers : automatic win!!! Definitely recommend this spot and would 100% come back again.
B Bagels is fine, but nothing particularly special. It's a pretty basic bagel shop with okay bagels--not bad, just not the best I've had. Everything feels standard: you get a bagel, some typical spreads and sandwiches, and that's about it. Nothing really stood out to me in terms of originality or flavor. Prices are what you'd expect for downtown Jersey City, so you'll definitely spend a bit. Service was fast and place had room to stand and sit in the corner . Overall, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to return to unless I was hungry and already in the area. That said, if you live nearby and need something quick, it won't hurt to give it a try.
Super busy bustling bagel shop. All boy krew doing their thang, line can be long or short. Just never know. Most of the time it's long. And or a long wait. We actually came when there was no line and there's still a wait. (could've been fulfilling ordered to go and what not) So that means don't come and expect to be in and out. Hardly any seating inside. There's like a place to stand to eat, and a small little nook. Music is blasting for high energy.

Just happens in JC, there's a long line of wait in Sunday 8:00am. It must be something delicious. Wait for 30min in line and 15min to make. In my mind questioning whether it wasted my time. I order jalapeño bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and cucumber And everything bagel with lox and salmon. Both of them are amazing. The spice & veggie have a good accommodation of each other. The salmon is extremely fresh. Almost like sashimi quality. I'm sure this place continued to do well with the quality keeps up. Happy Easter Sunday.

Stayed nearby during my trip to NYC and went to visit this spot each morning! On a weekday morning there was no wait, but if you plan to come later in the day, or on a weekend, you can also order online to skip the line. Even if you do wait though, the line goes by quickly. I got the Nova, which was my first time having this kind of bagel. Not quite my style, but I did appreciate the unique flavors. I also had a egg, cheese, and scallion cream cheese bagel and that was delicious! read more

Arrived at the shop Sunday morning right at 7am and were the first ones in! The everything bagels just came out of the oven and they were still stocking the shelves and pastries. We ordered a chopped cheese and Morning Glory on an Everything bagel :). Service was fine, nothing special but we were served quickly. Both sandwiches were pretty good fresh but my favorite was the chopped cheese because it was juicy and basically a burger in a fresh bagel hahaha. Would definitely come back again to try other sandwiches! read more
Downtown Jersey City continues to grow and, with Wonder Bagel the only "proper" bagel spot around, was crying out for more options. Until Zuckers hops the river and sets up shop out here: B Bagels is a solid option. Be prepared to wait in line on a weekend morning to step into the small but clean and well lit shop for a selection of bagel shop staples (bagels, cream cheese, lox, salads, hot sandwiches). I saw the long line and had time to kill so I joined it! Wow, best Lox bagel I've ever had. I ordered it as-is on an everything bagel though I'd usually request no red onion and light cream cheese and capers, but this was perfect, there was enough balance that the raw onions weren't overpowering in the slightest. I also picked up a cappuccino, a huge muffin, and a few extra untoasted bagels to keep in the freezer. I'm not sure I'll feel up to waiting on the line too often, but I have to say it was worth it. read more

FINALLY an amazing bagel spot in downtown JC! Came here Sunday at 1pm and there was a decent line but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on everything bagel for myself and loved everything about it. My friend got the sausage egg and cheese and loved his too. The bagels here are big and fluffy on the inside with the perfect crisp on the outside. They have some standing counter space and outdoor tables for seating. Excited to make this my regular bagel spot! read more
Seriously, thank god for B Bagels. The bagel options around Jersey City were sub par, depressing, and just not worth eating. The bagels here are huge, twisted, and chewy on the outside- all signs of excellent quality. I got a few to toast and enjoy in the following days. If you're in the Jersey City or Hoboken area, B Bagels is the best option by far. read more

After reading all the positive reviews, this was our first stop and it was amazing! My wife got the nova bagel and I got the tuna salad on a bagel. Both of them were plenty of food, and the bagels themselves were perfect. Don't skip the fresh squeezed OJ and I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't recommend an espresso. The vibe inside was super rad and the entire staff as very friendly. read more
I haven't tried many bagel spots in Jersey but this was, in my opinion, absolutely amazing. The everything bagel itself had a nice crunch on the outside but super soft and warm on the inside. It was the perfect combination of salty and savory, and very filling! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area read more

Ham, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel for the win!! Anytime I visit NYC/NJ, bagels are the first thing on the menu. B Bagels hit the spot. Ordered a half dozen, HEC, and a large coffee. Delivery took a bit but everything was fresh and coffee was still hot. Egg everything bagel was my favorite. May have to freeze some and bring back to San Diego. So good! read more
I had the Cuban with everything bagel and it was absolutely delicious. The Everything Bagel had a great contrast to the sweetness of the ham. My Wife had Bagel and cream cheese and the cheese was so creamy and sweet unlike my unusual typical New York slapped on cream cheese. The line was really long but the staff kept it moving so it wasn't a super long wait but you will be waiting for a good minute. Have been wanting to try B BAGELS since it came to downtown jersey city. This spot was awesome, we got two everything bagels one with bacon egg and cheese SPK and one with Taylor ham egg and cheese SPK. Both bagels were delicious. The service was great we ordered right away and the food came out relatively fast. I also ordered a fresh orange juice and a coffee. You can see by the pictures most how good these bagels really were. They had outside seating but we took it to go. Very great additional to the pedestrian plaza area. Highly recommend! read more
Was exploring Jersey City with my Daughter and we walked by B Bagels. The place was busy and we got in line. Smelled delicious in there. They had a lot of unique bagel sandwiches. We split a Levant on an everything bagel served open face with Labneh, tomato, cucumber, zatar, and olive oil drizzle. Such a refreshing and healthy bagel sandwich. Definitely coming back here to try more of their sandwiches. Seating is outside. read more
Very. Good. Bagels. Fresh out of the oven. Check. Lots of variety. Check. Sandwiches. Check. Cream Cheese. Check. Went on a Saturday around noon and the place was bumping! Waited in line for both the order and the pick up, but it was worth it! I tried the Nova Sandwich on a Russian bagel and it did not disappoint! I loved how the bagels were hot and chewy and a little bit crispy on the outside. The lox, cream cheese, capers, red onions, cucumber had just the right ratio. I ate the whole thing. The russian bagel is rye, pumpernickel, and caraway seeds and honestly was the perfect vehicle for this sandwich. Good call to the owner who took my order! We also tried the NJ Stack and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. It was all very good and I'm really happy there's new bagels in town! read more

Line out the door for a reason! Definitely thee bagel spit in Jersey City. Casual eatery with some tables al fresco. Expect to have a bit of a wait but the staff run this spot very efficiently. Lots of options for basics and breakfast sandwiches. I can't overstate how tasty the black russian is, try it! read more

Sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, jalapeños, avocado, and a spicy garlic aioli. I chose the egg bagel - the cheese pull and generous egg portion were *chef's kiss*! Don't forget to ask them to toast your bagel if you're eating it fresh! Next time, I'm trying the pumpernickel and Black Russian bagels with veggie tofu or olive pimento cream cheese. Tons of unique bagel and cream cheese combos - you can mix and match or try their signature sandwiches. New best bagel in Jersey City. They just opened and have been super busy, but for good reason. The bagels are fresh and what you expect if you've grown up with delicious bagels and like me have been disappointed for years with the options nearby. I've only tried their bagels and spreads so far but look forward to testing the rest after their soft opening. My one teeny tiny wish is for sun dried tomato cream cheese as an option, but I realize that's a bit niche. Everyone who worked there was super friendly too! Definitely worth a visit. read more

Great quality bagels - not too dense, not too airy. The ingredients taste fresh although sometimes can be a hit or miss. The scrambled eggs have been overcooked a couple of times and the chopped pieces inside aren't always cut evenly. read more
