Shocked to read how many people thought this guy was inexpensive. A simple tuneup for me cost almost $1000. Yes I needed a new battery but I just can't understand how it could've come to almost $1000! He did not report anything extra he did to my car! I went in prior to the tuneup to ask him how much it would cost. He said it would be about $389. Just wanted to pay him and get out of there!! Couldn't stand the smell of all the cigarette smoke. Great, kind people and service. I drove over a flooded street in South San Francisco and the car just turned off. I got a tow back to Mill Valley and these guys not only answered my call at 5:30pm on a Thursday night, they patiently told me my options and where to park the car if they were gone when I got there and what to expect. All went smoothly and they called at 10:30 the next morning that the car was ready and water had gotten into the electric part and they only needed to dry it out. I truly thought I had broken my car. Not so. It is back to normal and I got to go out of town for the weekend after all. The two men who run this place know their stuff and they were also incredibly affordable. I have been a customer of Mirhan's, for a long time. He has always been honest and reasonable. His brother Greigor, told me he wanted to shoot me. I said I have been coming here for 30 years. He replied I've been here 20 years but you've been here for 30 years. I am 62 years old and have never had someone tell me they wanted to shoot me. I told his brother, it is not a good practice to tell a customer you want to shoot them. I told him I would review on Yelp. What happened today was very unpleasant. I came in for a smog and passed. I paid and thanked them. The a****** said he would help me back out by looking for clearance. The RV would not start. Suddenly my starter, was dead. Adversity can be converted to advocacy. Instead I am telling you that Greg is an a******. I don't take kindly to having my life threatened by someone I've just given $100 to or anyone else for that matter. I will never go to wonder car again even though Greg's brother is a good man. Honest. I think that's the most important attribute for a good mechanic. Honesty. We all want a competent mechanic that is honest. For over 20 years I have brought different vehicles in to their shop. I would have recommended them prior to today. I feel for my friend in the shop. His brother is costing him money. They damaged my front end and rear end by using inefficient trucks and a tow rope which they snapped. You can't tow six tons, with a small truck. read more

I went to these guys for a couple of years. They didn't always solve my problem, or said it was my mistake. I finally went to D & K for help. They couldn't believe another mechanic (I did not say who) would let me drive my car in that condition, and that it was an easy fix. A couple of hours later, it was like I had a new car. I agree with the previous reviewer. The folks here are knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and care about their customers. I've had my MR2 worked on here -- Miram is an MR expert -- and even brought in my Corvette with a very difficult electronic problem. It took them a while, but they tracked down the problem and fixed it. Give these guys a try. You won't be disappointed. A lot of people bring their cars here -- for good reason, so don't be discouraged if it takes a bit longer than you expected to get your car back. read more
