Square Lotus offers an extensive choice of dishes. This visit we ordered the tropical fresh rolls and the pork on skewers, along with banh xeo The banh xeo was really nice and crispy. The only 2 drawbacks. for me was ... instead of pork belly, they use chicken, i think white meat cause the meat is very dry. The second is they don't offer a lot of fresh herbs with this dish. Just some cilantro and one small branch of Thai basil Next time i order this i will definitely ask for pork belly instead of chicken in my banh xeo. Definitely recommend you trying this restaurant. BTW, the offer an extensive amount of vegetarian dishes

They have a large menu with lots of options, and lots of items I was not familiar with. Our table ordered the spring rolls with pork. They were delicious! I went with their Classsic Vermicilli bowl which comes with pork, shrimp, a tiny egg rolls, noodles and cucumbers. It was delicious the pork was very tasty and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The restaurant is large and definitely a spot for families both small and big. I only noticed a few to go orders. Great spot for Vietnamese food if you happen to find yourself in Bellevue.

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

Went out for dinner with family and tried the Thai sukiyaki, khao soi, and Panang curry with tofu…read more We chose spice level 3 for most dishes and level 5 for the khao soi. The restaurant was hosting an event, so part of the space was closed off, and service was noticeably slow. It took a while for the food to arrive. The khao soi was decent--not the best I've had, but still a solid choice. The Panang curry had a mild flavor with a subtle lime note and a touch of sweetness, which was interesting but not particularly bold. Overall, the food was okay, but unless you live nearby, it might not be worth the trip. If you do go, I'd recommend ordering a higher spice level, as everything leaned on the mild side. Good ambiance overall.

Many of their dishes include Chocio corn (similar to hominy), and they even served a crispy version as an appetizer. We came here for dinner with a dozen people, shared 20 plates, and absolutely loved everything. It was a Monday night, which happens to be half priced wines by the bottle - we got a great bottle of Sagemoor Reisling for just $22.50, regularly $45. Service by Raquel was very attentive, and she made great recommendations. We ordered 20 dishes to share: (1) two Festival de Cebiches -- 3 types of ceviche: Classico (halibut), Popular (crispy calamari, shrimp, octopus, halibut) and Nissei (tuna, seaweed - my favorite) ; (2) two Tiradito Criollos - Hamachi sashimi w/ sweet potato in tiger milk sauce - incredible; my favorite dish of the night; (3) two Antichuchos de Pollo; (4) 2 Antichuchos de Res; (5) 2 Golden Chaufa -- fried rice with Dungeness crab and shrimp); (6) 2 Pescado al Pilpil - halibut w/ roasted garlic and crispy kale - my husband's fave; (7) 2 King salmon charapitas w/ roasted sunchokes and rainbow potatoes - wow; (8) 2 Lomo Saltados - wok fried beef tenderloin, tomatoes, onions, jalapeno, oyster sauce, soy sauce w/ potatoes and rice - wow; delish, (9) 2 yuca fries; and (10) 2 wok fried broccolini - delicious flavor. For food (drinks separate) was just $93/person including 20% tip and 2.5% employee well-being surcharge, which we all that was very reasonable for the quality and quantity.

The vegetable dishes were excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and apparently packed with enough fiber to move several years of unresolved business through my digestive system. By the end of the evening, my bowels had entered what I can only describe as "Super Slide" mode. This was not ordinary diarrhea. This was an express-lane evacuation. Waste did not merely leave my body; it checked out early, skipped the front desk, and fled the premises without saying goodbye. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive, and my colon emerged feeling lighter, cleaner, and emotionally available. Highly recommended for vegetarians, food lovers, and anyone whose lower intestine needs a firm but flavorful motivational speech.

There's a menu section that filters all their items based on dietary restrictions, so it was pretty easy to find items that fit her dietary needs. The aguachile was fresh and bursting with flavor, the chilies were really well-seasoned, but the duck was the real standout. So well-seasoned, tender, and that cranberry sauce?! Did not expect to like it as much as I did. We also got some mocktails which were yummy and hit the spot! Docking off one star just because the price was pretty steep for the portion, but otherwise was a nice spot.
