This is the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. A total surprise to find in Casper. Everything was super fresh, meat was grilled perfectly and the Lo-mein was eight for an army. They offer kids portions which is great, and honestly, enough for a reasonable adult. You can try a few things at once. I've also heard they have a great lunch menu. Very friendly staff. My sister and I ate here about half an hour ago. We were excited to try it because we had heard so much good about this place. But folks, let me tell you something. It sucked. The waiters weren't paying much attention, we found what looked like PUBIC hairs in our food/jasmine tea, and my sister, who ordered the Honey Walnut chicken, had literal MAYONNAISE ON HER CHICKEN. I ordered chicken fried rice, and it was so bland and tasteless. My sister and I both love Asian cuisine, but this restaurant just really doesn't live up to the hype. The building itself looks nice, and so does the inside, but some of the seats are duct-taped, and look like they've been that way for months/years. I hate to be this kind of person, but I truly wouldn't go eat there. Another snowy day in Casper Wyoming so I was looking for a place to get supper and drove right next to Lime Leaf Thai. Decided to check on Yelp app for details and ratings good so climbed out of my monster Jeep and went inside. Very friendly young lady at counter greeted me with a smile. Looked over the extensive menu and decided upon Sesame tofu and chicken lo-mein. Was a difficult choice since I really enjoy Asian cooking! Was asked to wait 10 minutes but my order was handed out to me in just under 8! The sesame tofu was deliciously prepared in a sweet and spicy red sauce with some water chestnuts and broccoli florets. The tofu cubes were lightly battered and fried just right. The chicken lo-mein was also tasty with wide noodles and a light gravy. The chicken pieces were tender and both orders were still piping hot when I arrived back in my hotel room. Needless to say I have leftovers in my refrigerator for another day! read more

This place is a joke. We placed an order for a delivery at a certain time, 30 minutes later they are at my door. I opened the paper sack, everything looked perfect. Mind you, this is a 50 dollar order and they gave us 4 packs of soy sauce, when I asked for extra soy sauce. They gave us one bag of crispy noddles, if anything go to Walmart any buy your self some hard chow mein, that's what they serve as there crispy noodles. The next thing..... we order Spring Rolls and they place it on top of everything, so I took a bite and the shrimp is warm and everything is soggy.... yuck! I called them, they told me they'll give me soy sauce for free but, their so called CRISPY NOODLES, they would have to charge me! Pho is good, but the bbq pork is a little tough. Had delivery also for the first time. Made a significant order and was told 40 minutes. Food showed up by a friendly driver in 21 minutes, and I'm five minutes away from restaurant. Have to say I was impressed. All the food was piping hot. I love that that they use air tight plastic containers for entrees versus styrofoam boxes that leak and are not fridge friendly. Egg rolls were amazing, along with the coconut curry shrimp. Did not like the pan fried pork dumplings at all. Also impressed by the quality of the chicken and the large chicken pieces used in the sesame chicken. Note: this score if relative to Casper I have been to several Asian countries and lived in CA. So no I'm not an expert but I have an idea. The pho, which I do actually like, is 0% like it is in Vietnam other than presentation and may be arrested if served in Vietnam. That being said, the food is pretty good. The meat is real, the veggies are fresh, it is oversauced as most American-Asian fusion places are, but not gross. No, it is not authentic. Then again, I don't know what the obsession is about that. Go get a burger even in Europe and you will think it is trash. Things are tailored to local test. No one in Casper is going to be eating chicken feet, let's all relax. Decent place to get takeout and service is good and fast. Only complaint: your eggrolls suck. Obviously frozen shells of nothingness. All in all not a bad place. I ordered the meat ball and beef pho. Flavor of the soup is good, nice quantity of meat balls, beef was light. The broth was different from a lot of pho I have in Cali but that is to be expected. Only real complaint was the small amount of been sprouts-please give more! As an aside the menu has a large amount of American Chinese staples on it. Also this is not a Asian fusion joint-it's Vietnamese. I tried this place based on the reviews of Yelp and wasn't disappointed. I know what you're thinking, Vietnamese in Casper, WY, but it was as good as what I've had in major metropolitan areas. In fact, I would put their Crab Cheese Wontons against the best of the best. Nothing is more disappointing than wontons that you can barely taste any crab or any cheese. These ones exploded with yumminess. The Phô was excellent as well. I did think it was odd that I had to ask for Sriracha sauce and chopsticks and that it wasn't standard, but maybe Wyoming folk don't use chopsticks. read more

Several in our party had Pho and said it was excellent, very hearty. The volcano shrimp was another favorite, described as an eruption of flavors. Me and a few others had sesame chicken which was excellent, however, the portions are enough for 2 or 3, definitely share. Very good hot and sour soup, equal to PF Changs. We also had lettuce wraps which were excellent. We had a large group of about 16 and our waiter, Iga did a great job! I was very impressed that he memorized all of our dishes. Some of the best Orange Beef I have ever had! Pork egg rolls would have been ok if they had "real" Chinese mustrard and sweet & sour sauce instead of cheap packets with no flavor. Makes no sense I have to come to the Wild West for good Asian food but it seems to be a consistent fact. Actually I understand completely why that is due to history and cultures but that's another topic. The food here was first of all beyond plentiful!!! And second delicious!!! I had a combination pad Thai noodles. The shrimp were beautiful, big, and tender not rubbery at all, the steak tender and flavorful. The chicken however did have a rubbery texture I was not fond of but I just picked around it and devoured the noodles, shrimp, and beef. I could have shared my plate with 2 or 3 other people there was so much. The cost per plate/item was super reasonable and caught my eye how low it was compared to less than average Asian restaurants around the town I currently live when I'm home. I had a hard time deciding what to order. The others in my party who dined here agreed it was delicious. The staff was very friendly which is a huge departure from similar restaurants in Western NC. My wife and I are traveling around the US on a 19 day roadtrip from Southern California, where we have a fairly profound selection of Asian restaurants. The food was easily 5 stars! The Kung Pao Chicken, sesame Chicken, and the Fried Rice were amazing! The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is the same reason I recently gave some other locations a similar review... I ordered the food to my hotel room, the food arrived with no plates, no silverware, no napkins. I'm in a hotel room, I have nothing. Fortunately, the hotel had some plates and silverware in the lobby I could use. Next time... if you're making a delivery to a hotel room... include what you think I need where I have nothing. read more

DISCLAIMER - this food was done via delivery...NOT eat in. After reading some good reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Lime Leaf my dinner order. I'd had a very long day and just wanted a nice bowl of Pho and to sit in front of my TV at the hotel. I ordered the food for delivery (crab cheese wontons and Beef/Meatball Pho). I explicitly asked for NO cilantro as it's not something that I like and waited for the delivery. When it arrived, the Pho was in two stryofoam containers. one containing all the ingredients and the other with broth. Bad news is the broth container had been dented and the top had come off. Thank goodness they wrap it in a plastic bag because half of the soup was out of the container and in the bag. Next, when I opened the container with all the ingredients there was LOADS of small chopped cilantro on top. Enough that it's IMPOSSIBLE to remove. So, now I have to add it to my soup no matter what. The container then contains loads of onions, on top of the beef and meatballs and SHOVED into the bottom of this container is one large stuck together rice noodle. There is NO way to get all of this mixed together in either of the two containers I have been given and the flavor is just not what I'd hoped. Impossible to eat and poor delivery containers make for one unhappy diner. Good luck to those of you who order delivery from here. I'll hope that dine in is way better than delivery! read more

After checking the local Yelp reviews for an Asian restaurant, I went with Lime Leaf. My previous (albeit limited) forays into Asian food in Wyoming have been rather disappointing. I settled on the Pho (Beef in Rice Noodle Soup), which is one of my favorite dishes. Per the description, this ". . . traditional Vietnamese rice noodle soup is served with a selection of thinly sliced meats in a beef broth and topped with onions and cilantro. A plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, lime and jalapenos accompanies this dish.". There were a few non-standard veggies lurking in the bowl, but they did not detract from it. The basil and sprouts served on the side we something of a token (skimpy) offering. The broth flavor (the #1 thing about Pho) was good, but not great. The noodles were a tad overcooked. I also ordered a rather small Vietnamese iced coffee that was acceptable. Service was good. I would be willing to drop by again and try other menu items. read more
