Very traditional setting. The food and service was good. The egg drop soup was amazing and hot. Both the dishes we had were good and plenty. Very affordable and right in downtown. The pan fried noodles were made with Ramen noodles. The Sesame chicken was all stuck together in one gigantic lump. the broccoli with garlic sauce was so overcooked that all the vegetables were soggy. This used to be one of my go to Chinese restaurants but no more! read more

This place was very good! It was in a quaint part of town and there wasn't a ton of people there so our service was very fast. We got seated immediately, and the waiter was exceptional. We all loved our food. We ordered the lemon chicken, garlic trio, trio fried rice, sesame chicken, and the sweet and sour chicken. We got 2 huge bowls of steamed rice and fried rice on the side for all to share. It was yummy and very decent priced. read more

My out of town treat is either Asian or Mediterranean food, and when I'm in Casper, this is a favorite stop. Had the chicken with string beans and they did not disappoint. Also had a lovely egg roll. No pre-meal photos because I was hungry! Saved the leftovers for breakfast and I'm still happy! Hot and sour soup wasn't the best I've had, but it was good (I'm very picky about H&S) and my friend had the egg drop which looked very good. Parking can be hard to come by downtown, but if you get a chance, come try this place!! read more

It took me a very long time to try this place, and I'm glad I did. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the service was fast and friendly. Sesame chicken and fried rice were delicious, better than other places in town. Hot and sour soup was also great. I'm sort of kicking myself for not coming here sooner. As a lover of Asian food, and a new comer of the city, I tried JS Chinese restaurant. My first encounter was 6-22-24 , I walked in the establishment and was greated, and seated. Service was fast and the food was delicious. 6-24-24 I returned to JS Chinese Restaurant, looking for the same experience. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received today. I walked into the establishment, "African American male , 48 years old" A Caucasian couple was in front of me. I was the next customer in line, and did not receive the same greeting as the individuals ahead of me. The tall gentleman asked, " Are you with them?", I replied, "no." Next he asked "What do you need?" I was like huh? I was confused by the question. Thinking, I need to be seated, to eat Sir. I looked at him with this look, as if this is a restaurant isn't it? The Caucasian couple looked at me like, Wow! The Caucasian Couple tried to make light of the awkward situation, I was eventually seated, and received my food. The other gentleman server passed my table several times, without offering to replenish my beverage, half way through my meal. Seeing that I pushed my cup to the edge of the table, empty. After trying to get the attention of any server, I was ignored. So I politely got up, walked to the register and paid my tab. I left half of the food on the table. I was totally disgusted. We stopped for dinner after a long day on the road. This is a small place in downtown Casper, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. Ordered delivery today from JS Chinese. My son ordered the Mac and cheese off their kids menu, started to cough and threw up a staple from the food. I called and asked for a refund. The manager/partial owner Cindy stated that she needed a photo to verify it was her staple. I told her I didn't want to dig threw throw up to find it. She stated she wanted to come to my house and find it herself. I agreed to this but ended up finding the staple easily grabbed when I went to pull the trash. I called her back to tell her I found it, she called the police instead and said she was going to have them come to get the staple. It was super stressful to have my 12 year old son almost swallow a staple and then have the cops called on me over $60. read more

New owner since my last review so I thought I'd give them another shot. And I'm glad I did. The service was great. The food was excellent. And the price was definitely affordable. Really enjoyed both the Szechuan chicken dish and the sesame chicken dish. The Wonton soup was excellent the hot and sour soup sadly was not. It had carrots in it which was very strange and gave it a totally off flavor.The fried rice was probably my favorite part. Great little downtown Chinese restaurant. Lunch specials and $8-10 and give you a lot of food. I had the Kung Pao Chicken. Not a ton of spice, but some of the best flavor ever. Great service, great location and great food. read more

This was a good experience. The atmosphere was really cozy and very clean. Our waitress was exceptional. The food arrived promptly. The appetizers were really good, too. The only knocks against it was the entrees themselves. Neither my wife's dish nor mine had much flavor, other than salt. The egg drop soup was also a little on the cooler side than I would want or expect for soup. Stopped by here to pick up Chinese food and bring our haul to hotel after a long day's drive. I walked in with my 6 year old daughter to order, and they decided to close earlier than hours posted. We were dissappointed, but understood. I asked if my 6 year old could use their restroom before we left, and they REFUSED. Worse off, they lied and told us there was a public bathroom across the street and pushed us out. The area was darkened and we were not familiar with it, and there was no obvious bathroom to use so we had to hurry back to the freeway to a gas station bathroom. I wish I could give negative 5 million stars for this. Classless. read more

We are in Casper on vacation. We decided to take out Chinese and Thai food. My husband was very happy with his Pad Thai. I had shrimp with mixed veggies. There was plenty of shrimp and the veggies were crisp and good. Prices are higher than at home, but the food was very good. read more

We did not think this was authentic food at all. It was more like pre made frozen. The lemon chicken came out as a cooked patty sliced up, and a bowl of not very tasty lemon sauce to dip it in. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food. The last time I ordered, I had the curry chicken, which was the first time I found curry in this city. Being from San Francisco, I'm totaly spoiled on different types of curries, and I've been craving it ever since. This curry was off the hook! They use 100% Veggie oil, and no MSG, thank God! I ate here a few years ago, and felt that the dumplings were like pasta with sloppy joe meat inside of them. The orange chicken was kind of weird and rubbery and overly sweet and pretty fucked up too in a big way ... The other day though I had some egg foo young and fryed dumplings delivered and it was pretty goddamn solid, man. Nice seasoning... not too overbearing, the dumplings seem much improved and come with a kind of sweet and sour gravy that grows on you, I kind of wanna drink it. The delivery was also fast, good portions... These guys seem to have gotten their shit together. I'd say its better than the limeleaf and south seas by far, I kind of wish that they cut the veggies bigger though, they sort of skimp on that area. But props for improving, I won't blow smoke up your ass. It's good. read more
