When traveling, it's hard knowing where to go when you've got a craving. My 13 yr old loves Chinese food (especially Orange Chicken). Last night, the hubby, kiddo & I went to JS Chinese Restaurant & the food was delicious. The orange chicken was sweet & the kiddo ate almost every bite. I got the beef & broccoli. The broccoli wasn't over cooked & still had a great crunch to it. The beef was tender as well. The hubby loved his sesame chicken. The hot & sour soup though was his favorite part of the meal. The decor of the restaurant was really cool & we all really liked the string art on the walls. Service was also great too. I was surprised that at 5:30 on a Sunday it wasn't busy. The pan fried noodles were made with Ramen noodles. The Sesame chicken was all stuck together in one gigantic lump. the broccoli with garlic sauce was so overcooked that all the vegetables were soggy. This used to be one of my go to Chinese restaurants but no more! read more

My out of town treat is either Asian or Mediterranean food, and when I'm in Casper, this is a favorite stop. Had the chicken with string beans and they did not disappoint. Also had a lovely egg roll. No pre-meal photos because I was hungry! Saved the leftovers for breakfast and I'm still happy! Hot and sour soup wasn't the best I've had, but it was good (I'm very picky about H&S) and my friend had the egg drop which looked very good. It took me a very long time to try this place, and I'm glad I did. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the service was fast and friendly. Sesame chicken and fried rice were delicious, better than other places in town. Hot and sour soup was also great. I'm sort of kicking myself for not coming here sooner. As a lover of Asian food, and a new comer of the city, I tried JS Chinese restaurant. My first encounter was 6-22-24 , I walked in the establishment and was greated, and seated. Service was fast and the food was delicious. 6-24-24 I returned to JS Chinese Restaurant, looking for the same experience. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received today. I walked into the establishment, "African American male , 48 years old" A Caucasian couple was in front of me. I was the next customer in line, and did not receive the same greeting as the individuals ahead of me. The tall gentleman asked, " Are you with them?", I replied, "no." Next he asked "What do you need?" I was like huh? I was confused by the question. Thinking, I need to be seated, to eat Sir. I looked at him with this look, as if this is a restaurant isn't it? The Caucasian couple looked at me like, Wow! The Caucasian Couple tried to make light of the awkward situation, I was eventually seated, and received my food. The other gentleman server passed my table several times, without offering to replenish my beverage, half way through my meal. Seeing that I pushed my cup to the edge of the table, empty. After trying to get the attention of any server, I was ignored. So I politely got up, walked to the register and paid my tab. I left half of the food on the table. I was totally disgusted. Really enjoyed both the Szechuan chicken dish and the sesame chicken dish. The Wonton soup was excellent the hot and sour soup sadly was not. Ordered delivery today from JS Chinese. My son ordered the Mac and cheese off their kids menu, started to cough and threw up a staple from the food. I called and asked for a refund. The manager/partial owner Cindy stated that she needed a photo to verify it was her staple. I told her I didn't want to dig threw throw up to find it. She stated she wanted to come to my house and find it herself. I agreed to this but ended up finding the staple easily grabbed when I went to pull the trash. I called her back to tell her I found it, she called the police instead and said she was going to have them come to get the staple. It was super stressful to have my 12 year old son almost swallow a staple and then have the cops called on me over $60. read more

This was a good experience. The atmosphere was really cozy and very clean. Our waitress was exceptional. The food arrived promptly. The appetizers were really good, too. The only knocks against it was the entrees themselves. Neither my wife's dish nor mine had much flavor, other than salt. The egg drop soup was also a little on the cooler side than I would want or expect for soup. Stopped by here to pick up Chinese food and bring our haul to hotel after a long day's drive. I walked in with my 6 year old daughter to order, and they decided to close earlier than hours posted. We were dissappointed, but understood. I asked if my 6 year old could use their restroom before we left, and they REFUSED. Worse off, they lied and told us there was a public bathroom across the street and pushed us out. The area was darkened and we were not familiar with it, and there was no obvious bathroom to use so we had to hurry back to the freeway to a gas station bathroom. Located down town Casper, next to the Fox I believe, right on 2nd street. I haven't eaten at the location, so I can't tell you about that. What I can tell you, is they are fast, and so so good. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food. The last time I ordered, I had the curry chicken, which was the first time I found curry in this city. Being from San Francisco, I'm totaly spoiled on different types of curries, and I've been craving it ever since. This curry was off the hook! They use 100% Veggie oil, and no MSG, thank God!
