We were greeted with a smile and they helped us right away. The person who helped me was Reina and she was amazing! She checked to see how I liked the water temperature and also what kind of pressure I liked for the massage. It was so relaxing! Very nice and accommodating staff. We had our scalps analyzed and then did a 60 minute scalp treatment.They use quality products. Their service is thorough and detailed. The scalp massage is like none other. The therapists are soft and gentle. After the scalp massage, they will do an after analysis and add a few finishing touches to your scalp. Overall, I liked the experience. The worst thing was that I didn't like was how my damaged ends kept getting caught when the person was combing through my hair with her hands. It was painful. I don't recommend getting this done if you have dry bleached dead ends like I do. My ends get tangled very easily and I also have thin hair so it is easy to pull out hair. The best part was actually the facial for me. It was relaxing and pain free. They also massage the face and I enjoyed that too. I'm disappointed that the shoulder/neck/upper back massage didn't really happen even. They gave me a towel to put on and it is meant to wrap around the chest and back, leaving the shoulders exposed. The whole time it was exposed, it was so cold. I was really hoping they would have warmed up my shoulders or something but that never happened. I enjoyed seeing my scalp improve after the session. I had a dry irritated scalp, maybe because of the weather. After the wash, they show you your scalp again and you can see the improvements. For my husband, he had an oily scalp and they helped remove some oil heads up in his scalp. If I do come back, I plan to get a haircut somewhere first to get my dry ends cut off so it's a lot less painful next time. My husband really liked his experience. It's been 2 days since I got the wash and my hair still feels great so I do recommend trying it, just not if you have dead ends like I did. read more

Went for the first time today. I did a 90 minute facial with scalp treatment. Joyce was amazing and was gentle with face. I could not believe how much build up I had in my scalp when viewing the camera. When I seen the results after scalp treatment. My scalp was flawless and clean. It would have been nice if the session started with a quick overview of how everything would flow. A simple welcome, explanation, and even asking if we needed the restroom beforehand would have made things smoother. Speaking of the restroom, when I did use it toward the end, it didn't feel very clean, which took away from the spa-like atmosphere. We also used a Groupon that mentioned light refreshments, but this really wasn't offered until the very end when water was mentioned. It would have been much more refreshing if tea or something seasonal had been available at the start to enhance the experience. At the end, while they did blow-dry my hair, it wasn't really a salon-style finish--more like a quick dry. If you plan on going out afterward, you might want to keep that in mind. A small touch-up station with blow dryers, straighteners, curling irons, and disposable combs would go a long way in making guests feel polished before leaving. I got the 75-minute special for two on Groupon for my cousin and me, and it was such a good deal! I've done a head spa before, and it had been a lot of just sitting under a scalp steamer or the water halo. This one came with a mini facial and neck and shoulder massage, followed by a fab scalp and face massage, which were so good! And then the last 20 min or so (time wasn't really a thing at that point!) was spent washing my hair and conditioning it. I like that she blow-dried it, too! Really cute little spot in Rancho, and parking was easy! I should have asked again for the gal's name, but I believe it was Rayna. She told me what she was going to do, and then she also asked me what pressure I wanted for the massage. My cousin said she wasn't asked and the gal who did her service didn't really talk, so I'm not sure if maybe it depends on the person doing it. I got lucky because my service was so good! Keep in mind, most head spas don't even dry your hair, so that this place does is an added perk. They're not giving you a Brazilian blowout.
