Lo mien , pork fried rice and two fried shrimp wrapped in spring roll wrappers.

I use to order all the time before and after the remodel, I couldn't get enough of it. I love the new dining room. I decided to give them another chance. For the most part the food tastes good. But I feel like the quality of the ingredients has gone down. Could be a vendor or just cheap produce and ingredients. The eggs rolls are not cooked properly, they were very greasy. I had a Dinner combo 2 - lo mein , pork fried rice and fried shrimp. Two medium shrimp pulled and stretched into a wrap in a spring roll wrap and deep fried crispy. I felt like it was wrapped in a napkin and fried. The shell should have been crispy. Undercooked. The rice and noodles looked great. Photo quality. Looked better than it tasted. The rice had an underline burned flavor. The lo mien was like a min or two over cooked. Noodles were too soft. There were two people running the front a Hispanic women and Asian women. I tried asking if they could put the rice in a separate container from the lo mien. I thought a simple enough request. But nope. Asian lady was kind of rude about and told me to order it all separately. Charge me an extra buck for styrofoam container.

I must be one of the pickiest people when it comes to legit reasonably priced Chinese food. I'm from California and after traveling to different states, California, in my opinion, still stands as the #1 best in Chinese food, aside from the burritos and street tacos. Wong Wok is definitely up there. Upon entering the restaurant, it looked really nice. We were seated immediately in a booth. We didn't wait long to order either. I ordered the egg foo young lunch plate and mushu pork. Both dishes were delicious! Very tasty. The egg foo young was perfectly made and not every Chinese restaurant makes it the same. Wong Wok made it the way I like it. Not too starchy, they added the perfect amount of bean sprouts, protein, and gravy. I enjoyed the egg drop soup as well. My boyfriend ordered the spare ribs lunch plate which is basically called bbq pork in California. Same dish, different name. As far as the service, it was perfect. Best service from a Chinese restaurant that I've had in awhile. The woman was really nice and checked on us frequently. My overall dining experience here was excellent. Can't wait to come back. Thinking about this place is making me hungry again.

    General ting/tsao/sesame chicken

This place comes fairly recommended on Google maps, so I figured why not give it a try. Let me say, I'm not quite sure what the rave is about. Yeah, it's Chinese food. But it's not out of the park 5 star food either- adjust your expectations. My wife ordered sesame chicken and I ordered general tsao (they call it general ting here). There was no difference in either dish, which I find frustrating because general tsao/ting should have a little more spice than sesame chicken. Just my opinion.

Incredible Bacon Crab Rangoons. These are the largest I've seen and tastiest.

We came upon this restaurant driving by and thought what a funny name for a restaurant. And we were glad we stopped. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and compliments. Maybe because we were also wearing Halloween costumes? Lol. The service was impeccable and friendly. On top of that the food was fantastic. It takes a lot for me to say the food was fantastic. We love this place. Whatever you are doing as a restaurant don't stop. We loved what we ordered tonight and we will be coming back. A lot.

Always good food. Chicken wings have changed a bit. I don't like gummy skin, so I normally substitute the wings for chicken fingers.

The food is always fresh and good. They have been around for years. General Tsoa chicken is not what you use to. But not bad.

Fast forward to a rainy Saturday evening, and I thought maybe the crowd wouldn't be too bad. Wishful thinking! I was craving good Thai food, so I decided to give it a go. We arrived just before 6 p.m., and to my surprise, it was standing room only. The staff greeted me with familiar smiles, and a waitress asked if I had reservations. I laughed and said, "Oops!" She chuckled and seated us within two minutes. We all looked at each other in awe. "No worries," she said, "you'll be just fine." The restaurant was buzzing with activity. The first thing I noticed was that it was the perfect time to see how the food and service would hold up under pressure. After placing our order with Mina, I realized I was witnessing what could only be described as organized chaos-- the place was packed, yet the staff kept smiling and delivering top-notch service. We ordered a variety of dishes: chicken coconut soup, shrimp Tom Yum soup, crispy duck with Penang curry (my favorite), crab rangoons, shrimp pad Thai, an appetizer sampler, basil fried rice, and Thai tea. Each dish was fantastic, and Mina, our waitress, was amazing. I wasn't the least bit surprised. Since moving here from Florida, Blue Elephant has quickly become my favorite place to indulge my cravings. You know that feeling when you take a bite of something truly delicious, and your eyes close in pure joy? That was me on this rainy Saturday night.

Beef was delicious as was the sauce. Won Ton soup was excellent too. Great broth and won tons were tasty. Even the white rice was well cooked, fresh tasting and not stuck together as you're dishing it out. First Chinese restaurant I have tried in area I actually will be ordering from again. I ordered the "beef stick" -combo. I was greeted by two small, burnt, and suspiciously shaped beef teriyaki skewers, atop a pile of shockingly fluorescent yellow pork fried rice. Had I spilled any of this rice on myself, I could have worked as a flagger at the nearest construction site. The pork chunks, on the other hand, were whiter than a 1970's mustache at a disco club. One chunk looked so much like chewed bubble gum I removed it for inspection to discover it was "just" gristle, thank god. There were also two chicken fingers, clearly fried in oil dating from the Nixon -era. The chicken itself was chewy and sinewy. The only duck sauce came in packets, and it tasted like high viscosity, salty water -- who uses duck sauce packets these days anyway? But that's not what I'm here to tell you about; I'm here to tell you about what happened ten minutes later. My stomach became a veritable symphony of horrors. The sounds were akin to a butter knife in a sink disposal. I knew what was coming, and come it did. I spent the next few hours in a type of suffering I wouldn't wish on an enemy as the old, greasy, fluorescent food rained hatred down upon my stomach. I finally retreated to the couch, my body weakened and my soul defeated. Later that night, due in equal parts to my low IQ and my short memory, I decided to eat some of the pork fried rice leftovers. After all, there's no way this stuff really made me sick. It *had* to be a coincidence. Thus began my most recent self-education, for within minutes, I was once again in the bathroom praying to every deity I could think of. The things I saw that night - the things I smelled that night - will haunt my nightmares for an eternity. I'll cut to the chase: don't eat anything that looks like the food from this place. Chicken fingers shouldn't be fried in anything resembling motor oil, pork shouldn't be colorless fat globs, and rice shouldn't be the color of a school bus. I regret giving a one star review for a local business, but my stomach insists. May god have mercy upon your soul.
