New ownership huh?! This is what they served me on Christmas Day. Scallion pancakes and egg rolls a forty minutes wait total. I called it in and was told thirty minutes ....once I got there they informed me they hadn't started it. Had to get back to work and inquired this must have pissed the overweight asian girl with glasses. She is abrasive and pathetic she served me deliberate ruined food. I am waiting on my refund from Ben who is supposed to be calling. Rude, disgusting and unprofessional. Do not waste your time....people who do this cannot be trusted.

6/2024 New Management & slowly new renovations, bringing Peacock back! Food is fresh & crispy, the crab rangoons & chicken fingers with homemade duck sauce are my go to! Nice atmosphere dine-in with new local small family owners.

Chicken rice soup (if you get a cold this might handle it & rid yourself of it).

Now yes every now & then I can opt for Chinese & this one worked out. Selected chicken rice soup (cold killer if you get my lingo) & spicy lo me in with shrimp, beef, pork & chicken & met my standards (photos will be with the report).

No flavor in the rice. Barely any chicken no baby corn. Over fried shrimp. Used to be my go to but not now

The food is fantastic. The restaurant has been open forever and could really use a facelift. Otherwise food is great!

Fast forward to a rainy Saturday evening, and I thought maybe the crowd wouldn't be too bad. Wishful thinking! I was craving good Thai food, so I decided to give it a go. We arrived just before 6 p.m., and to my surprise, it was standing room only. The staff greeted me with familiar smiles, and a waitress asked if I had reservations. I laughed and said, "Oops!" She chuckled and seated us within two minutes. We all looked at each other in awe. "No worries," she said, "you'll be just fine." The restaurant was buzzing with activity. The first thing I noticed was that it was the perfect time to see how the food and service would hold up under pressure. After placing our order with Mina, I realized I was witnessing what could only be described as organized chaos-- the place was packed, yet the staff kept smiling and delivering top-notch service. We ordered a variety of dishes: chicken coconut soup, shrimp Tom Yum soup, crispy duck with Penang curry (my favorite), crab rangoons, shrimp pad Thai, an appetizer sampler, basil fried rice, and Thai tea. Each dish was fantastic, and Mina, our waitress, was amazing. I wasn't the least bit surprised. Since moving here from Florida, Blue Elephant has quickly become my favorite place to indulge my cravings. You know that feeling when you take a bite of something truly delicious, and your eyes close in pure joy? That was me on this rainy Saturday night.

Beef was delicious as was the sauce. Won Ton soup was excellent too. Great broth and won tons were tasty. Even the white rice was well cooked, fresh tasting and not stuck together as you're dishing it out. First Chinese restaurant I have tried in area I actually will be ordering from again. Highly recommended.

It has been eight years since my last yelp review, and I had been enjoying my retirement. Until I…read moreordered from this place, that is. I hate to do it, but here goes... I ordered the "beef stick" -combo. I was greeted by two small, burnt, and suspiciously shaped beef teriyaki skewers, atop a pile of shockingly fluorescent yellow pork fried rice. Had I spilled any of this rice on myself, I could have worked as a flagger at the nearest construction site. The pork chunks, on the other hand, were whiter than a 1970's mustache at a disco club. One chunk looked so much like chewed bubble gum I removed it for inspection to discover it was "just" gristle, thank god. There were also two chicken fingers, clearly fried in oil dating from the Nixon -era. The chicken itself was chewy and sinewy. The only duck sauce came in packets, and it tasted like high viscosity, salty water -- who uses duck sauce packets these days anyway? But that's not what I'm here to tell you about; I'm here to tell you about what happened ten minutes later. My stomach became a veritable symphony of horrors. The sounds were akin to a butter knife in a sink disposal. I knew what was coming, and come it did. I spent the next few hours in a type of suffering I wouldn't wish on an enemy as the old, greasy, fluorescent food rained hatred down upon my stomach. I finally retreated to the couch, my body weakened and my soul defeated. Later that night, due in equal parts to my low IQ and my short memory, I decided to eat some of the pork fried rice leftovers. After all, there's no way this stuff really made me sick. It *had* to be a coincidence. Thus began my most recent self-education, for within minutes, I was once again in the bathroom praying to every deity I could think of. The things I saw that night - the things I smelled that night - will haunt my nightmares for an eternity. I'll cut to the chase: don't eat anything that looks like the food from this place. Chicken fingers shouldn't be fried in anything resembling motor oil, pork shouldn't be colorless fat globs, and rice shouldn't be the color of a school bus. I regret giving a one star review for a local business, but my stomach insists. May god have mercy upon your soul.
