Today the food was horrible, usual it's ok but not today .. it's 5:30 pm and wanted something quick . This was a mistake , 50.00 mistake .. The eggs rolls were so greasy, as if oil was not hot enough or was old and needed cleaning .. the 6 egg rolls could not be eaten.. The French fries were so over cooked you could knock on wood with them., it was as if they were old ..and warmed up. The chicken nuggets were greasy dry and Burnt and could not be eaten hard to chew. . The crab rag goon was greasy and flavor was not there it was thrown in trash with fries ,chicken , and the egg rolls .. We also got 2 soup and large order of beef and broccoli.. in all the food was a 50.00 bust .. we ended having to go to McDonald's for the kids because Great Wall food went in the trash ... and that was a added cost we didn't expect .. The food in the past was usual good but not in the last few months .. I will not be ordering from them any time soon , unless I hear they got their act together and improved their quality of food . Been ordering takeout from them for maybe 7 years here and there. Started out fairly decent for a while. Now it's time to close the book on their food. Quality has dropped way down and I found a better alternative and cheaper on a 20 minute drive. I usually order 30-40 dollars worth of food, tip the delivery guy and I'm ready to eat. I enjoy their chicken teriyaki usually but realize it's just not worth the time anymore. I always have leftovers and refrigerate them but the next day it tastes worst than the night before. It's average, nothing special and in my opinion not worth the money. On the flip side, found Royal Buffet in Chicopee mass near walmart. 20 minute drive, usually hot fresh and tasty. You can eat well for 2, at $25.00 bucks complete. Great Wall is now history. read more

Always fast, delicious, easy, and relatively cheap. It's my go-to for takeout Chinese. I only ever do take-out and never dine in. It's a very small and quiet place that's usually empty when I go, but they're very nice. :) read more

This is a great little restaurant for pick up or delivery. The atmosphere in the dining area is a little dismal, but the food is pretty good... A little better than average. I wouldn't pass that by simply because of the lack of decorating. I have tried many of the items on the menu and it is very flavorful, crisp, juicy, whatever...depends on the dish. read more

The place is definitely a hole in the wall, and don't recommend eating in. I've only ever done take-out or delivery, so that's what my rating is based on. Whenever we want some quick Chinese food this is our go-to. The order is pretty much the same every time, Golden Fingers and the General Tso's combo. The golden fingers are delicious, and the General definitely has a little kick to it, but one of my favorite things about this place is the fried rice which is packed with extra goodies. This deserted looking strip mall in Enfield is home to this run down small Chinese take out restaurant. Great Wall offers free delivery. I recommend that if you wish to order from Great Wall, take them up on this offer. These folks are nice hardworking people, but the seating area is a mess. Ok let's get this straight. 1. Yes it is small and over crowded 2. Children are always there but I'm not going to be a jerk and knock somebody for working. Not everyone has child care. 3. Bugs and maggots my ass. In the 18 years I've eaten from this place I've never had a bug in my food. 4. Yes the building does need repairs and updating. It would be nice if that were done bc it makes it look run down. After all they rent the place not own it. 5. I don't always eat here but when I do I get the cheesy wonton and pan fried dumplings. Curry chicken is good too. 6. They always allow me to substitute my egg roll for chicken fingers since I hate egg rolls. 7. No I do not work here or own it. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I got the general tso's and there was a bug (alive) crawling around in my take out container. None of the staff wear gloves and I saw someone behind the counter tossing noodles in a large wok with his bare hands. The owners kids were running around the dining area as well. This is a hole in the wall. I will never eat here again. read more
