I've been craving for a simple wonton noodle Hongkong style and I never know about this place until I saw of this place video. I ordered 2 topping with egg noodle that were wonton and fishball. The other one was beef noodle and boiled veggie (coi sam). The wonton was amazing, The shrimp was springy with good portion of the meat. I haven't had any decent wonton in NJ or NY area. The beef was tender and good. The noodle was springy, I wished another 1 minute longer to boil would be perfect for my taste. The fishball was not I expected because I used to Hakka or Teochew style fishball. I wished they give the veggie for free instead of we need to order a portion. The service was amazing, fast, the waiters were very nice and helpful with orders. The place was nice and clean. My verdict is I would like to come back and eat at this place eventhough I have to drive for 45 mins to Edison. read more

Lo and behold, Wonton Guy popped up. 30 minutes later, We are sitting in their dining area waiting to eat. We tried their wontons, dumplings, fish skin and curry fishballs. The wontons were humongous! Probably 2-3 times larger than a regular one. The flavor was great and had a nice bounce. I personally preferred the dumplings because they had woodear and yellow chives which gave it a nice texture. The fish skin was good. Tasted like pork rinds. The curry fishball was a hit. Oh my god. When I say I've been on the hunt for some good old fashioned Cantonese style wonton mein in New Jersey for a while please hear me out. This place has somehow been under my radar and I'm so happy to have found this place. It is no frills and does what it does best - wonton.
