After launching, an incident resulted in the vessel taking on water, requiring the vessel be pulled again the next day. Bill and crew came out on a Saturday to help my sorry butt, and did an excellent job. When the damage was revealed that had been causing the leaking, Bill Jr developed a novel approach to the repair that actually saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. Yesterday, all the repairs were completed, and Bill Jr and company delivered the vessel to my storage spot I'd built in my yard. He took the time to go over everything that had been accomplished, and also made recommendations regarding the winter storage that were very timely. Bottom line: Atlantic Marine Transport is very customer oriented, cost effective, hard working and diligent. They have single-handedly shown me, by mission of action, that there are still good people who work in the marine field. Keep them on your short list, and at the top of it.

After calling all over for emergency marine road service, I got in touch with Captain Phil at Corliss. He came out that afternoon and examined my engine, diagnosed problems with my lift pump and the exhaust elbow and noticed a few bad repair mistakes from the last yard that looked at the engine (including fixing the throttle line that got disconnected). He ordered the necessary parts on the spot and I went and picked them up that night and Capt. Phil was there early the next morning to do the install and repair. There was no wasted time. No sloppiness. Really cracking good team. Engine was up and running by lunch time. Already considering these guys for a much bigger job. Would absolutely recommend!

After the purchase of the boat, Phil picked up the boat and took it down to one of the yards in Rhode Island that he works out of. During the scheduled service he called and recommended some minor repairs. All the work was done flawlessly and we picked up the boat and ran it home to Long Island, an 8 hour ride. as far as price is concerned, you get what you paid for. We bought our first boat off a guy who had a slip with Fairwinds and because of a previous beef with the previous owner of the boat the guy said he had no slips which was a lie !!!! Cove Haven is one of about 20 yacht yards under the Brewer brand from ME down through NY. Being a member at a Brewer marina there are some perks: a few nights for 'free' at other Brewers, discounted gas... What really makes Cove Haven is the people though - great management, friendly fellow Sperry-clad boat owners, and an overall calm that can only be achieved on the water.

My convertible top wouldn't close all the way so he had me bring it down to at least get it closed and instead he opened the top and now it's jammed pretty bad. I had to buy a waterproof cover because it's been raining days and there's nothing I can do as far as driving it anywhere to get fixed. Dave refuses to help in anyway. I do not suggest using this company for anything. They don't guarantee their work and they honestly don't care at all. Pretty bad business I've never seen anything like it.
