Guy on the phone was polite and knowledgeable and helped make sure we scheduled enough time to catch our flight. Last year they were 15 minutes late picking us up for transport to airport. Much anxiety since they use an answering machine. This year they didn't show causing us to miss our fight. Have used for years but can't depend on them ! read more

Driver asked us where we were going to, and when we told him we had a long distance ride, arranged through another source he began questioning us over and over, trying to squeeze out of us. That person was so he could "report them".. He would not let it go, was driving too fast and ultimately overcharged us because he was so ticked off that we wouldn't give up the name of the person. read more

Do not book with this company unless you want to miss your flight. I scheduled a 5:30AM airport ride, knowing it would be near-impossible to get an Uber or Lyft at that hour. Wood River Taxi stood me up. The day before, we confirmed all details including price, contact numbers in case of issue, etc. They did not show up, did not pick up the phone, and didn't even have the courtesy the return my messages after the fact. Myself and the three others I was with were stranded. They missed their flight because of this company and ended up out hundreds of dollars because of all the changes needed with the airlines. Do not rely on this "company" - even if you have to pay more for another service, you will save both money and a massive headache in the long run. A reliable service. I have used say 10 times. Book by text, the guy shows up punctually and takes you to/from the airport. The van he drives is not very clean. Sometimes his driving can be erratic. There are cheaper options in the valley. read more

The driver was generally rude and angry and almost ran over of a dog and it's owner because he was going far too fast in the neighborhood. This driver should not be driving. He is a danger to himself and others. read more

Called this number hoping to check if one of their drivers may have reported a lost wallet since I left mine in a local cab, company unknown. Received a rude lecture about the difference between their service and Uber to the point I hung up, he then called back and left a voicemail, and sent further condescending text messages. Thank you so much for the explanation and harassment, sir! Would not recommend calling this company if you like being spoken to like an adult. read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered! So incredible rude. As I'm asking him a question about whether or not he offers car seats-he says he doesn't and I should just bring my own. Not what I asked. Then he says he has another call and hangs up on me. I have never experienced this before. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and book another car service. read more

Con Artists. Driver was waiting for random customers at the airport. We told him we needed to stop at one place to get our airbnb keys first and he said "no problem, 333 Main Street?". We said, "oh great sounds like you do this a lot". He quoted us $50. When I came out from the stop, he said "oh, my boss just called and its $10 extra". I was pissed. When we got to our place, I gave him the $60 and he had the guts to say "no tip??". Forgot his name, said he lived in Las Vegas before Sun Valley. read more

I called Airport Taxi & Shuttle in April 2021, which turns out to be also called Wood River Taxi, to book a short trip to the airport. I was told by text msg "We do not service (my hotel name). They've burned us too may times." This was my first trip to Sun Valley, so it wasn't anything personal. While having no shows is unfortunate, its highly unprofessional to refuse a customer based upon the behavior of other customers, especially when it involves an essential service like taxi service to the airport. read more

Look at the other reviews- HORRIBLE customer service. When u ask for a taxi to airport - they quote you $50 for 2, which is a little more than uber. After they pick u up they will drive around to pick up other passengers. Its a SHUTTLE at taxi prices. Not worth the time to describe how they handle it once u realize thiS and that you're about to miss your flight. Its clearly happened to many people before, but they keep their misleading policy. We were very lucky to make our flight. This is the first review i've ever written -as i don't want this to happen to others. AVOID!!!! read more

Driver arrived early, was extremely friendly, helped us load all of our suitcases and skis, was knowledgeable and friendly to chat with on the way to the airport, and, in short, was extremely cool. Great choice in taxi service on my part, I am happily patting my own back :-) read more

Being from LA means I revert to noob status when considering airport transportation in other parts of the country. As such, I waited until I woke up 3 hours before my flight in a post-nightmare sweat (nightmare including missing my flight) to even think about how I'd get to the Sun Valley Airport from Ketchum. (I was originally planning to wake up an hour and a half prior to take off, factoring in that I'd need 20 min to get ready, and 20 to get to the airport, breezing through security since that's what typically happens.) After trying Uber (there were none), calling the front desk (helpful but not sufficiently), and two other taxi companies (one didn't answer, and the other did answer but was incredibly rude, although given that it was pre-dawn, ok fine but not really fine), I called Wood River and THANK THE GODS AND GODDESSES that I did. Howard was super kind and happened to be seconds away! Which meant I had to pack faster than I'd ever packed before, but within five minutes, i was in his comfortable shuttle, and here I am 55 minutes before my flight. I'm so grateful to my Sun Valley/ Ketchum airport angel Howard of Wood River Taxi!! read more
