This was my first time here. We came for dessert only. They have a few options but they are not listed on the menu. We ordered the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and chocolate pie. We watched her open a brand new chocolate pie and spray whipped cream on it The cobbler is deconstructed and had to be assemled. The chocolate pie appeared to have been left in refrigerator too long and original whipped topping had gone flat and brown. The crust for the cobbler was inedible! It tasted very old. The ice cream also tasted old as if it was freezer burned. We sent everything back. I would like to add that our waitress was very kind and we had no complaints about her personally. read more

They serve quality food here for bargain prices, and I believe they have other locations elsewhere in OK/OKC. Their healthy plate consisting of a cooked chicken breast, cottage cheese and tomato slices was awesome. I also got the tater tots and the fried okra, and the coconut pie dessert was very good. The only fruit juices they have are apple and orange, but their iced tea is great. Any Restaurant that Locks their door for incoming guests at least an hour before closing - or in this case - 2 hours before closing and then you call their phone and get a Message Box to Leave A Message - and you may or may not (so far I haven't) get a call back tells me that their Cook Help "Can't Get My Order to My Table Quick Enough" for me to eat. The Cook Help needs Updating. And ... locking your front door 2 hours before closing? I wanted a Normal Meal. Not A Mexican, Not a Chicken, Not anything I can get from a Convenience Store. We stopped in after arriving in OKC. We weren't sure what we wanted so we stopped in after looking over the menu on line. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken burrito which was as big as a dinner plate and my wife ordered the vegetable soap and grilled cheese. Both orders were hot and well done. Don't let the outside appearance fool you! This place serves down home cooking. Our party of three had the turkey and dressing special and it felt like grandmas house at Thanksgiving. I do not like this business, the servers especially one lady she is rude. Not only does it make me sick every time this will be my last time there. I don't like how I order the supreme cordon Bleu and it's not even inside the chicken. Couldn't get a remake the manager said I had to pay for what I got. I been coming here since 2010 and the food here never disappoints me. My favorite menu item is the chicken fried steak dinner the steaknis always nice and crispy smothered in the delicous white gravy they serve it with . The prices here are great everytime me and my husband come here we spend exactly 19.56 for two full meals and 2 drinks and you get pretty full! I also like how they serve breakfast all day and take debit/credit. The service is great as well and even when they are crazy busy they still try their best to give you the best service they can. read more

This place can be good but most of the time it's poor, hit and miss. Problem is the cook and the owner is nice but not smart enough to know when something is bad and should not be served. If you complain about your food to owner he just says we make it the same everytime and still charges you even if you didn't eat it, he foreign. Quite a variety of choices on the menu. Generous portions for a decent price. Service has been pretty spotty each time I have been, but it seems largely due to understaffing. The bathrooms could use regular maintenance, but again, with very little people on staff during the peak times it is no surprise the condition is not up to par. Usually I love coming here to eat. Tonite I called in and asked specifically if it was too late to order? They replied no it's fine. So I order and they told me it would be 15 minutes to be ready. I left in five minutes got there in less that the 15 min frame they gave. Went up to the door and pulled on one it was locked. The waitress with the long curly hair looked at me and sighed and turned her back! The other shorter one in a blue shirt looked at me as well and ignored me. I couldn't call and tell them anything because I was just going to run and pick up my food so I didn't bother bringing my phone. So I stood at the door as they continued to peek at me to see if I was still there hoping I would leave! I yanked in the door again and looking ashamed to be outside they both turned and seen me still there. At this point I became livid and got in the car went all the way back home and I call and they argued they didn't see me. I am a very good tipper and I will make sure next time they open the door or at least come to the door and let people know they are closed. I never got an apology or an I'm sorry come pick your food up or I can bring it to you nothing except calling me a liar and making me look dumb because all the customers inside were staring at me at the door like a hungry vagrant. read more

This eating establishment is great. The food is excellent & the prices are the most reasonable I have found in OKC. They have 3 daily specials at a great price, for instance one of their specials, when we ate there this Saturday...9/5/2009, was a large portion of Catfish & a 10oz New York Strip steak plus 2 sides & dinner rolls for $8.95. Now, in my opinion, you can't beat that. The atmosphere is nothing fancy but it's very comfortable. Super friendly manager & waitresses. Can you tell how I feel about this place? We've been looking for a good mom & pop/greasy spoon diner since we moved here. We finally found it! We've been here several times now and the staff is very friendly and they know a lot of the customers by name. (It's like Cheers for foodies! LOL) The food has been very good, (except for the meatloaf...I wouldn't recommend the meatloaf...but everything else we've had has been good), and the biscuits are to die for! They are better than my grandma's! (Seriously, if you knew how much I love my grammy's biscuits, you would understand just how monumental these are! LOL) I would prefer sausage gravy, but the white gravy is very good. You get a ton of food and the prices are LOW! I can't believe what you get for the price! I haven't tried the pie yet, but they look amazing and I've heard they taste as good as they look. I'll get back to you on that one...soon! LOL read more
