    Chicken burrito

We stopped in after arriving in OKC. We weren't sure what we wanted so we stopped in after looking over the menu on line. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken burrito which was as big as a dinner plate and my wife ordered the vegetable soap and grilled cheese. Both orders were hot and well done. The outside looks a little rough but the service and food inside were worth the stop

The food was good as was the service. There was music in the background but at the right volume and not blasting you out of the place.

I always enjoy my time when I go in, great food and cheap prices feel like a novelty these days, combined with respectful and attentive service it makes it my go to breakfast spot.

I been coming here since 2010 and the food here never disappoints me. My favorite menu item is the chicken fried steak dinner the steaknis always nice and crispy smothered in the delicous white gravy they serve it with . The prices here are great everytime me and my husband come here we spend exactly 19.56 for two full meals and 2 drinks and you get pretty full! I also like how they serve breakfast all day and take debit/credit. The service is great as well and even when they are crazy busy they still try their best to give you the best service they can.

This is my go to place for breakfast on 39th expressway. The food is what you would Expect from a greasy spoon, mom and pop type of restaurant. I love the people that work there. They are always nice and the food comes out pretty fast. They do have the best hot chocolate around!

    The smoke room though.... yes

Made it feel relaxed without being a whole thing about ambiance. I got the giant buttermilk pancake, mostly because it kept coming up whenever I looked the place up. It's genuinely big. Soft through the middle, not too sweet, and the salted butter on top does a lot of the work there. My colleague had the grilled cheese and I tried a bite and honestly considered ordering one myself. The sourdough had good crunch, cheese was properly melty, and the fries were still hot when they showed up, which sounds like a low bar but isn't always. Food came out faster than I expected, which was lucky since we were on a work lunch and didn't have a ton of time.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. I got the Press Cobb salad but asked if they'd turn it into a wrap, and they didn't give me any trouble about it. Easier to eat when you're trying to talk and chew at the same time. The wrap was fresh, filling, decent mix of chicken, bacon, veggies, dressing not drowning in lettuce like some Cobb salads end up being. Waffle fries were crispy when they showed up but cooled off pretty quick once we got into conversation, so eat those first I guess.

The atmosphere is vibrant, modern, and full of energy with industrial-chic décor, warm Edison lighting, colorful accents, and an open, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger over another cup of coffee. The food? Simply outstanding. The avocado toast was a showstopper--thick slices of perfectly toasted bread topped with creamy avocado, perfectly cooked eggs, fresh arugula, and a rich balsamic glaze that brought every bite together. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The homemade sausage patties were some of the best I've had. You could taste the difference immediately--well-seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor, paired perfectly with eggs and a cheesy hash brown casserole that was rich and comforting. The pancakes were nothing short of divine. Light, fluffy, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Whether topped with warm blueberry compote or enjoyed with whipped butter and maple syrup, they were cooked to perfection and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The drinks completed the experience. The specialty coffee was smooth with beautiful latte art, and the fresh breakfast cocktail with a Tajín rim added the perfect refreshing touch. What truly elevated the visit was the staff. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and genuine. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and the team made sure every detail was right. Neighborhood JAM has mastered the art of breakfast by combining exceptional food, beautiful presentation, outstanding hospitality, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. We were seated at a booth, and the host asked if we needed a high chair for my child. I said yes, but she walked away in the opposite direction of the high chairs and never brought one back, maybe it was too loud and she misunderstood me. Our waiter also kept resting his hand on the back partition of the booth directly behind my partner while talking to us. It came across as overly comfortable and lacking professional etiquette. Most people don't want strangers that close in their personal space while they're dining, especially during a birthday breakfast. I hadn't seen him there before, so he may have been new, I addressed the issue to management. The food overall was good, although the grits tasted a little dry and overcooked. I still enjoy this place and hope I can update this review positively after another visit.
