The neighbors throughout the years were always wonderful and, often times, became friends. We loved having guests over to the pool and even had parties for our children's birthdays a few times there. Harriman Woods has a real gem of a Property Manager over there in David. We cannot say enough about him. From the time I first inquired about availability in Harriman Woods he made us feel like we were already a welcomed part of the community. Any issues we had were always addressed promptly and with a smile no matter how busy he was with all of his other responsibilities. He was a large part of why we remained in Harriman Woods for so long. Apts are filthy and OLD as crap and so energy inefficient your O&R bill be astronomical. This place needs to be gutted and renovated, not just patch over patch over patch, you can see this too if you look, nothing is really ever fixed, just patched. People selling drugs in the apartment beneath me. Weird people coming through, here. When i called the landlord about the situation they would yell and reprimand me for some reason. The people downstairs complained about the "noise" of me just simply walking from one room to the next. If you're one day late with rent they stick the court order sign on your door that morning. You will need to go to court to deal with it. Owners son is a lawyer btw. I would have to go to the office to pay my rent, and the ladies in the office would ask me all sorts of personal questions, every time. Never missed my rent but it was very stressful dealing with all of this. Pipes smell moldy and get clogged. Not a pleasant environment or experience. If you're someone who pays your own bills look elsewhere.

As noted in previous reviews, some of the units are a little outdated (mine was) however I could see that some units were or in the process of being updated/renovated. You are within the perfect distance to Route 32 and 9W, close to gas stations, grocery stores, etc. The common grounds are well-maintained during summer & winter, parking can be tricky without designated lines but I never actually had an issue finding spots since everyone is mindful on how they park. They have coin-operated laundry in the basement and additional storage. They are pretty much the only housing complex in the area that is able to provide heat and hot water with a generator during outages, which was amazing. All this being said, I would recommend it to anyone who was looking to stay in Cornwall and on a budget, while my stay there last year was short, I never had an issue and both the on-site supervisor and owner were always helpful & responsive.
