The walls are thin, so you can hear all of your neighbor's "festivities." There was no fan in the room, so it's a sleep-with-the-window open place in the summer. They said there was WIFI, but there was only 1 network that could be picked up in the room and it wasn't one of the 2 networks that they provided a password for. There is room to park a trailer, which is nice given all of the off-roading in Red River. The biggest problem is with the water temperature control. It swings from scalding hot to frigid repeatedly with not much time anywhere in between. I assume several units are tied together, but the shower was unbearable. All in all, they charge an appropriate rate for the amenities and the area.

The back in spots along the river offer a fire pit, a charcoal grill, and shade. They are quiet except for the sound of the river running through, and while close to each other, are situated so your rig is between you and your neighbor for privacy. The gentleman who runs the place, Paulie, is fantastic and wants to make sure all his guests are comfortable and happy. The bathhouse is probably one of the absolute cleanest and nicest I've seen for an RV park. Laundry is $2 a load to wash and $2 to dry. I enjoyed my stay here much better than the place I stayed in Taos and honestly would rather stay here and drive down to Taos than go back there.

Very good rates for fire fighters and big rooms to boot. I reserved 3 rooms and as soon as we came off the hill we went and checked on. The rooms are big and very nice. Being almost in the middle of town we could walk to most places after work. The stay was pleasant and the local bear made an appearance most nights. Good place to stay.

Then she lied! She told her husband, boss or whomever he was - over the phone in front- of me that she told me it was off-season. She never mentioned it. I asked for a refund and they refused. I had booked 2 nights and asked to be refunded for at least the 2nd night. Nope! The owners response, it's not his job to entertain us. We will not be back and I will tell everyone I know.
