I'm especially grateful for the incredible community events they organize every single week: yoga, Zumba, wreath-making, bouquet workshops, even dog events. That kind of effort transforms an apartment complex into a real community. A special shoutout to Karen -- whenever something came up, she had it handled within hours. Having someone that responsive in your corner makes all the difference. Jonathan in maintenance is patient, thorough, and a great communicator. Pair that with 24-hour maintenance service, and you always feel taken care of. The grounds are always spotless, and the large dog walking area is a huge bonus for pet owners. Thank you, Terrena team -- you made three years feel like home.

Worse: EliseAI's own privacy policy says they record your calls, texts, voice recordings, geolocation, and device info. Nobody told me this when I signed my lease. I got a random text from an 833 number one day introducing "Fiona" as my AI assistant. That was it. When I raised this in person, the staff was rude and dismissive. I've filed a CCPA data request and escalated to Fairfield Residential corporate. if you care about your privacy or want to actually talk to a human at your own apartment complex, ask about EliseAI before you sign anything.

This is a great apartment complex, especially recently with the new manager Emily! There are a few…read moredownsides as with every apartment but I think the pros outweigh the cons. I'll list everything below... CONS: - very limited and outdated washer and dryer; the first floor has two washers and two dryers that are very old; the washer takes roughly 31 minutes and the dryer takes about 45. Because there are so many residents, it's often in use and of course not every resident takes out their clothes on time so you're often waiting. The upstairs has one very old, shallow washer and one dryer. I really, really wish the building would get us new ones or at least one more upstairs - (coin operated machines so you do have to make trips to the bank for quarters) - unfortunate they spent money on repainting instead of the washers - awful way to enter the gated garage! It's not remote controlled! it has an outdated box that you have to drive incredibly close up to to punch in the entrance code; really it's a bother and is time consuming because the entrance is right off the main street and if more than one car are trying to enter, only one car fits in the entrance and the other waits behind in the street - just takes time and sometimes you have to get out of your car to be able to reach the box; really, really wish they would update that. - walls are thin so you can sometimes hear your neighbors talking or their tv, but again, this isn't a problem just at the Ridgeview so - if you live upstairs, you can hear anyone walking by and personally my apartment shakes when they do - the pool often isn't clean/filtered (it's directly underneath a bunch of trees so there's always lots of leafs) - there have been a few car break-ins, but management did send a letter out about keeping your car safe and hiding valuables - no-pet policy - Amazon often has trouble delivering here because they either can't get in or this address sometimes comes up as invalid to them?? Not the apartments fault at all, but it has been a constant issue for me personally - the manager's office is in the next door apartment complex, The Villagio which isn't really a con but you do have to walk over sometimes (Emily does often try to accommodate Ridgeview residents by offering to leave paperwork on their door so that they don't have to walk over) - there's one dumpster and it often gets overfilled! PROS: - you always get a letter about any changes going on in the apartment so you'll always know about door code changes, fire alarms, needing to enter the apartment, etc. as soon as possible - Apartment front doors are always closed and locked so not just anyone can walk in! - Emily is great and quick to respond to any situation or problem; the staff gets repairs done very, very quickly!! Either same day or next day! - they finally allowed residents the option to pay online instead of just checks - they have cameras installed and motion-sensored lights for security which is new and great! - the manager, Emily, is on-site so she's always around to help! She's always understanding and flexible - parking spaces are usually assigned to get your parking spot as close to your apartment as possible - have never, ever had an bug problems! No ants or cockroaches! - it's a really quiet, peaceful space!! I think everyone here respects the noise level and I've rarely had a problem except for one group of college kids who sometimes have a few people over until very late approximately until 2 or 3 but it's not like they're playing loud music, just the walls are a little thin - CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! The plants are always well-taken care of as well!! - sends you a birthday card for your birthday!

I want to think Ashley and Vincent for being respectful and kind to me during my time in this building. Any time I put in a request the maintenance team was available promptly to come inside my unit and make any necessary repairs. I am very grateful for my time at the Lassen Village apartments. The only negative thing about living here was the occasional inconsiderate neighbor who wouldn't throw their trash inside the trash chute, and therefore stunk up the hallway, but that was of no fault of the on-site management team. That's a lack of having a community care and take pride in their building by doing their part and properly disposing of their trash. In comparison to all the buildings in the Valley, this building is in great shape and a great find.

After living here for almost 2 years I have to update my review to be more accurate. This place…read moreseems really nice at first but there have been some things I experienced as a resident here that make me upset. The elevators are constantly down. Currently the west elevator is down and management let us know it would be down for 3 weeks, no reasoning or explanation. It has already been down maybe 6 times this year. Each time for weeks or even over a month. Accessibility is not their concern at all. They will send repeated email communication about "balcony inspections" dictating what we can put on our balconies and anything that's "unacceptable" to them needs to be removed. Why don't we focus our energy into fixing all the problems instead of what people are putting on their PRIVATE balconies that we pay to rent. This past summer they let the entire pool turn green. I repeatedly called them to let them know that the pool was looking greener every day but they kept insisting the pool man comes every week. I told them that in that case he's doing something wrong, the pool is freaking green. They continues to make excuses. Eventually they cleaned out the disgusting pool, probably after many more people complained. The "gym", if you can even call it that, has minimum 2 broken machines at a time. There's 2 treadmills, 1 is always down. There's a bike that has literally never worked. The other machines work ok, but it's frustrating that there's never a time when all the machines work. On top of that it's so freaking hot in the gym room, they don't always turn the ac on. During the summer we would work out and be pouring sweat from the heat, it would be 90 degrees in there. Nothing that a quick dip in the disgusting pool won't fix. The tenants are mostly college students, sometimes riding their electric scooters in the hallways. No one ever stops them or says anything. Today they decided to test the sprinkler/smoke detectors in our apartments by having them loudly beep every couple minutes. They barely sent an email out the day before saying they would be testing them for 2 days lasting 10a to 3p! I was woken up by the extremely loud chirping of the smoke detector. I work overnight and had barley been sleeping for a few hours. I repeatedly called the office to see how long this would last or if they can stop so I can sleep first. They never picked up. In the middle of their business hours on a Thursday morning. They let the phone ring and ring and go to voicemail each time. It honestly felt like they were purposefully avoiding answering the phone to not deal with the upset tenants. They do not care about keeping up the amenities. Last summer, the HOTTEST summer on record, many of the ac units in the building stopped working. They gave us small window units to temporarily use. These units used sooooo much electricity and skyrocketed our bill. At the time I asked a gentleman working in the office if we could have some sort of rent discount for the month considering our ac was out for about 2 weeks and central ac is considered an expensive amenity that was no longer being provided. They avoided the question and basically told me to ask again later when they fixed the air conditioning. They told me that we would get a discount based on how many days the ac was out. We never got a discount. My roommate works from home and had to live in 90+ degree inside temps for about 2 weeks. The only people who are genuinely hardworking and lovely people are the cleaning and maintenance staff. The cleaning crew is so sweet and kind. Maintenance department is quick to respond and shows up to fix small problems almost immediately sometimes. Living here is not the worst, but it's also not the best. There's a lot of shortcomings. I only base these off of what they promise and charge us for. When we are paying for amenities that we are unable to use for significant periods of time, this is a shortcoming. When they advertise **sparkling pool**, **amazing fitness room**, 2 **convenient** elevators, they are over exaggerating. There's a pool, it's cleanish. There's 2 elevators, but 1 or BOTH are often not working. There's a fitness room, BUT half the machines are broken and it's hot as a sauna! Ironically the actual sauna's in the fitness room also don't work and never have. Overall it's not a terrible place to live, but don't believe that everything is as advertised.

The unit had a rushed, sloppy paint job -- with paint left on appliances, door handles, and other surfaces. There are also noticeable bumps under the carpet, and the flooring is uneven in certain areas, which feels careless and poorly done. The neighbors often come off rude and confrontational, and there's a constant feeling of being watched or judged. The staff frequently leave multiple notes on your door over small things but don't address the bigger issues happening in the community. They also monitor what you keep on your balcony, acting very bossy and overly strict about what's "allowed," which makes the place feel more like a rule-heavy dorm than a home. There's no real sense of welcome or community here -- just control. As for the amenities, they're poorly managed. People don't pick up after themselves or their kids. Move the pool furniture around making it hard to get a seat of your own. The pool is always crowded, and just recently, there were people drinking beer in it late at night after 10 pm with no enforcement of the rules. Never in my years of renting have I had these problems in my life. I pay rent on time am a quiet tenant who goes to work and comes home looking for peace and relaxation. If you're looking for a peaceful, respectful, and professionally managed place to live, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The place has potential but the the community ruins it.
