Yes, I would recommend this place it's pretty quiet and it's fairly clean. They say it was just open, but I'm not sure if that's the case.

After driving 6 hours from San Diego, I went to the front desk to get extra keys and ask questions. I was greeted with a sign that read something like "we have stepped away from the desk but will return soon...." So I waited about 5 minutes and nobody came. There was no bell to ring or anyway to get attention. Then I noticed someone in the office wearing AirPods and on their phone. I walked closer so they could see me out of the corner of their eye and they came out and greeted me. She was very friendly which was nice, and I get that it was late but I feel like she could have been more aware of people coming to the desk, and maybe that someone leave a note letting her know there would be guests arriving late. We got to our room and it was nice and clean. The beds were comfy and we slept. The next day we went to breakfast and the chef was very accommodating for my daughter who has celiac. They made a fresh gluten free omelet for her on a clean pan. As we were getting ready to go out for the day, I went to get some ice and as I walking into the hall I noticed a maid with a clipboard. I told her I would like to have our room made up while we were gone for the day and asked if I should remove our dnd sign now, or wait until we left. She said "wait until you leave, we'll be sure to make up your room". We left around 12:30 and returned around 10:30pm. We came back to our room and it was not serviced at all. I called down to the front desk and asked to have towels brought up. I was told we had to come down to the desk to get them because they didn't have anyone to bring them up. The next day as we were departing around 8am, my daughter and I went down to the lobby to get Starbucks for the road. It was not open. With a sign right in front the read, open daily 6:00am... Then the front desk lady walked over apologetically and informed us that the Starbucks would not be open but if we wanted just a regular coffee they could take care of us at the restaurant. I said no... she apologized again. 1. If you are expecting guests arriving late. Be ready for them when they arrive. 2. If a guests specifically asks you to have their room made up and you assure them it will, then follow through and make sure that happens 3. Hire someone to make room runs, you're a Hilton not a motel 6 4. If you're going to have a Starbucks in your lobby, make sure you have people to run it. Or remove the sign that says Open daily.

It's a Great location- close to a mall, the downtown area, great restaurants and more. We booked a suite and it was a comfortable 3 night stay. Loved the games in the lobby. We played foosballl, pool, chess, pacman... And made use of the onsite gym. A lot of equipment and space. Easy walk to a few really good restaurants. A few notes - the in room fridge wasn't working great but they said they were working on getting them all replaced. And this stay vs the last they charge about $10 per night for parking in their outdoor lot, but if you're a member of the rewards program maybe it's waived(?)

I would never recommend this hotel…read more I originally booked a 3-night stay but ended up arriving a day early. I called the day of my flight to add another night and was told it was no problem but it would be treated as two reservations and I would need to check out Sunday and check back in. I checked in around midnight Saturday and paid a $100 deposit. On Sunday I left my room with the privacy sign on the door. Around 3pm the front desk called telling me I needed to return immediately to check out and check back in for the second reservation. I returned within about 10 minutes and was required to pay another $100 deposit. When I returned to my room, the privacy sign was no longer on the door and had been placed inside the room, meaning someone had entered despite the sign being displayed. Monday my room was not cleaned. Tuesday my room was still not cleaned and I had no fresh towels. I called the front desk and spoke with Veronica, who argued with me about my reservations and told me rooms are only cleaned on the third day. At that point it was already the third day and my room still had not been serviced. She eventually brought towels and said staff had "dropped the ball." Tuesday night I asked Lena at the front desk if I could extend checkout until 2pm because my flight was later. She initially said no, then said it would require a fee but couldn't locate the policy anywhere. After calling Veronica she told me the fee would be $55. I declined and asked how late I could stay without a fee and she said 11:30am. When I returned to my room my key suddenly stopped working. After I went back downstairs and expressed how frustrating the situation was, Lena later called and said the 2pm checkout would be approved and the fee waived. At 11:30pm that same night Veronica called me from home explaining she had gone home sick, it was her second day as manager, and the team "needed work." The conversation went on far longer than it should have and felt extremely unprofessional. The next morning I left briefly with the privacy sign on my door and returned an hour later to find the sign once again placed back inside my room, meaning someone had entered my room again despite the sign being on the door. At checkout Jacob at the front desk was very kind and helpful. However when management became involved they mostly made excuses for the situation. They eventually offered compensation, but instead of refunding the night I personally paid for ($269), they refunded one of the nights that had been booked using my mother's reward points. In other words, the credit didn't even go back to the person who actually paid cash for the stay. Beyond the service issues, the property itself is poorly maintained. The AC units appear locked and do not properly cool the room. The shower bases are stained brown, the shower caddy is dirty, and metal fixtures throughout the room are rusting. The beds have almost no padding and the pillows smelled strongly of sweat. Housekeeping service was inconsistent and my room was never cleaned during the stay. I have stayed at the Cambria in Fargo, ND and had a completely different experience. Unfortunately this location felt closer to a budget motel than a Cambria hotel. I hope Choice Hotels corporate reviews this property because the guest experience and privacy issues during my stay were far below expected Cambria brand standards.

This was, without question, the worst stay we've ever had. Our experience at the bar was completely unacceptable because of the bartender, Zeus. He was extremely rude, confrontational, and unprofessional. We waited more than 15 minutes while he refused to take our order, despite serving or acknowledging others. During the interaction, he directed racist language toward us, which was shocking and completely unacceptable in any hospitality setting. No guest should ever be treated this way, especially at an IHG resort where professionalism and respect should be the standard. The Food & Beverage Manager needs to address this situation immediately. Someone who behaves this way toward guests has no place representing the hotel. We have supported this resort for five years, but after this experience, we will seriously reconsider returning. We hope management investigates this incident and takes appropriate action so no other guests have to experience what we did. 1 star.

I was delighted that we experienced such positive customer service, good food and drinks onsite, and nice accommodations. I ordered a room with two queen beds (though I later learned I would be heading here on my own). As an IHG status member, I received an upgrade to a king-bed suite upon my arrival. The suite I ended up with had a nice living area, a kitchenette, a very comfortable bed, and a balcony (though only to the neighboring street). The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful with any questions I had. While my colleagues all received a $ 5-off-a-drink coupon, I received that plus a free beverage at the bar. If I didn't want alcohol, I could go into the store and pick up a food item of my choice, which was quite generous. While I didn't have time on this visit to use the fitness center or the pool, I had the opportunity to check out those spaces, which I look forward to using when I return (if the pool is heated in the Fall). I also got a tour of the property, which has great meeting spaces for a group of 150-200 people. I also visited the bar in the lobby and the on-site restaurant, both of which had great service, tasty food, and beverages. I did pay extra for parking, though I had no other choice, and the price was reasonable at only $15 per day. As the Crowne Plaza is a part of the IHG® One Rewards, you can pay $225 USD or pay 40,000 IHG points to become an InterContinental Ambassador for 12 months. This comes up a guaranteed one category room upgrade, guaranteed extended 4pm check-out, one complimentary weekend night per year, Platinum Elite status in IHG® One Rewards (and the corresponding benefits), complimentary mineral water, complimentary internet, dedicated check-in area, single room rate for double occupancy, restaurants & bars credit of up to USD20 for every stay (depending on location), and complimentary breakfast for one each night you stay (Mainland China only). Note that Ambassador benefits only apply to actual InterContinental Hotels. Platinum Elite status includes 60% bonus points, Hertz Gold+® Five Star Status, welcome amenity at check-in, early check-in, 2 PM late check-out, and more. Platinum Elite benefits apply to any IHG property. I certainly recommend that someone in Chandler, Arizona, looking for a hotel consider this as an option. It's certainly worth it! I look forward to returning.

UPDATE - AUGUST 2025 (TWO YEARS LATER):…read more DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL. I stayed here from June 26-29, 2023 while doing training at Aspen Dental. On my last night I woke up with a BED BUG BITE ON MY HAND, pulled up the sheets, and found BLOOD SPOTS ON THE MATTRESS. I went straight to the front desk. The clerk brushed me off, rushed me along, and never moved me to another room. They "cleaned it" like it was nothing. NO MATTRESS ENCASEMENTS. NO PROPER INSPECTION. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. That negligence followed me home. Within months I had a FULL BED BUG INFESTATION IN MY OWN HOUSE. Thousands of dollars gone. Countless sleepless nights. Two years later, I am STILL dealing with the fallout of this stay. And here's the kicker: I am NOT the only one. This hotel has a PUBLIC HISTORY of bed bugs: * Sarin T. (4 years ago): "BED BUG ALERT - live verified bed bug in the box spring, hotel refused liability." * Joseph B. (4 years ago): "BED BUG ALERT - woke up with 10+ bites overnight, management brushed it off." Now my case in 2023. Same story. Same property. SAME COVER-UP. This is a pattern of negligence, not a mistake. And shame on ASPEN DENTAL for knowingly putting trainees in this dump. If you value your health, your sanity, and your home: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. Bed bugs don't just ruin your night. They follow you home and can ruin YEARS of your life.
